"Good," was all that Asch had to say before he stood up and looked out at he pool towards Vahy'n. They couldn't stay here long, he had things to do after all. Since the last raid, he was being kept very busy.
"I should go," he told Elle before lifting Vahy'n's pokeball to recall her. Perhaps one of these days he could bring her for a longer visit. A water type shouldn't be without water to swim in for too long.

"Okay," she replied, tugging on her sleeve. She knew he was probably busy--busier than her at least. Trainee's didn't really do all that much, even though they were kept suitably busy.
"Maybe I'll see you around sometime," she said--her way of saying goodbye. Elle didn't believe in goodbyes, they were too final. It was likely enough, though, she supposed. To see him around. Especially if he took his Vaporeon here to swim sometimes. Odds were that she'd bump into him again--she knew that, despite her hatred for chlorine, she'd be here often for Vesper's sake.
"Hey," she said, calling him back, "be careful out there."
As little as she knew about him, Elle was surprisingly fond of this gruff trainer. After all, how often did you find someone who shared your hair care values?

Asch started to leave, heading for the men's locker room, until Elle called out to him. He then paused and turned slightly to look back. Her words startled him a bit. She barely knew him and yet she was saying things like that? Perhaps there was a deeper kinship in hair than he had realized.
The agent paused for a moment or two before simply nodding silently and moving on. He didn't really know what to say to that, so he didn't say anything. Perhaps they would meet up again, perhaps they wouldn't. It was a big HQ after all, but the odds were likely that they'd bump into each other again at some point.
