Hey, I'm Lolly, 19. I have two sweet little numbers of my own at the current time. A little Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Executive in red. I usually carry it on my person and then I also have another which I can't identify. It's a 3 inch switch blade that I love but I don't carry it around more so for sentimental value (and the australia laws). I was introduced to the beauty of knives as a child, I used to do a lot of big game hunting although right now I don't have the chance really to dabble with work. I think the next knife I'll be getting is a butterfly knife!

Thanks for posting in the welcome thread hauo. Since I live in Canada I cant have real butterfly knives *cough, cough*. I do however have many, many trainers including a genuine Benchmade 40T Trainer worth around $350-$400. I'm considering selling it but not sure. Great to have you here!
heart Aw, thank you. Benchmade 40T Trainer?
eek If only I had the money. They're very much something I'm looking to add to my collection too. More so just because I want one, I don't think I'd ever use/hunt/carry it with me. Lucky!
mrgreen yah I was very excited when I got my 40T as they are now discontintued. Have you seen the movie Kickass? Hit Girl receives 2 Benchmade 42 butterfly knives. The 42 is also discontinued and they sell for around $1000! if you're lucky enough to find one that is. Benchmade currently offers 4 different models as far as I'm aware, the 62, 51, 32 and 53. Prices ranging frm $200 to $350. I'm kinda perplexed as to why they decided to use stainless steel handles for the 62 as opposed to titanium like the 40 and 42 has. But ah well. Regarding the high prices, I have to admit it's still worth it as Nothing beats the quality of a Benchmade bali-song but of course you can just buy any cheap butterfly knife for $20 or less. If you plan to learn the art of flipping I highly suggest you also get a trainer.
And yah butterfly knives are not really a practical knife to use for a whole lot. It's more of an art form I'd say.
