Oh, right. She'd forgotten how much of a ladies' man Roch was. Taryn bit her lower lip and watched Danny go flying, offering her a little smile when she turned back. Chuppi wore clothes. She was less jealous of Chuppi.

"Oh? Oh, um... yeah. Yeah, sure..." She knew where all the stupid songs were? Thanks, Roch, for your vote of confidence. The ghoul puffed her lips out with a sigh and hugged herself with one arm, brushing her hair back with the other.

She had never been to a party before. It probably showed.

Jove stiffened even more, holding his breath as Shehk passed through the doorway. She was teasing him... testing him, just waiting for the right time to pounce...

He stoically held the door for everyone, and followed along until they got to Roch's room, keeping an eye on Tomoko and Shehk. Afterwards he lingered near the former. There were many nervous ghouls here it seemed, he could smell it, and sense it from several. One of them seemed to seek Tomoko's attention, so Jove stood protectively near the pair of them. Maybe they were afraid of Shekh too?

The pup scanned the group to see if he could catch Roch's glance. Did the reaper have anything that could cheer the ghouls up hiding in his room?

Jove didn't quite smile in reply, he never did. Even in this older form. But that was perhaps for the best since it was more a baring of sharp teeth than a real smile. The pup probably would have frightened both ghouls in his current form. His tail wagged instead, and his ears perked forward.

Chuppi was very glad to see Tomoko and hear her friend say her name, and she practically blushed when asked if she was going to sing. "I....I think I will, but I am not sure many will like to hear. Gran hermano says my voice is nice but it can't be better than much others." She meant to say many but well, words.

When Tomoko's attention turned to a small pup she turned hers to him as well, her red eyes staring clearly as she blinked to try and figure out just who this was. It had to be a student here, right? There was no reason for strangers to be in the school right now, not even with the announcement having been made about them coming. Plus, hadn't she seen him before? "Tomo-chan, who is Jove-kun? A puppy?"

The pup's eyes widened a bit, and a blush slowly spread across his cheeks, glowing brightly. She... didn't recognize him? Was he that different in this form?

"Tomoko?" He said quietly, his older voice a lower register yet still unable to be called deep. The wisp wagged his tail again, hesitantly, looking her in the eyes. Surely she had to recognize him. At first he had borrowed some of Ren's old clothes, ones that fit his willowy teenage frame, and this older form did have some unexplained resemblance to the gryphon... But he was wearing new stuff right now, stuff like what he normally wore but more grown up! Did she really think he had any relatives?

His eyes flickered to the little chupacabra. He was sure he had seen her around school but she didn't seem to recognize him either!

The pizza was fine. Roch breathed out a sigh of relief before spreading the boxes out over every surface in the kitchen available. "Grubs on!" he called to them. "I got some plates if you need'em!" he added, heading for the cabinets and pulling out a stack of them. Then he grabbed a slice, inhaling it happily.

"Oh! The cotton balls!" he said, disappearing into the bathroom and coming out with a bag of them. "For anyone that the music gets too loud for," he explained, tossing the bag onto his bed/couch. "Oh!"

He headed back to the cabinets, pulling out a thermos. "Hey, screechie, I got your Christmastival present!" he said, heading straight for Chuppi and crouching down in front of her. "Sorry it took so long to get it to you."

"Eh? Mucho gusto, Jove-kun. It is nice to meet you." It was apparent that Chuppi thought the 'kun' was part of his name, not knowing the whole concept of -chan and -kun. She only knew for Tomoko because well, she figured it out after a bit. "My name is actually Temes, but most call me Chuppi. You are welcome to do so." Chuppi actually didn't remember ever meeting Jove, or if she had she would feel bad for forgetting him. "If you are Tomo-chan's friend then you are a welcome friend of mine, if you would like." She took the hand that was offered to her and shook it softly, trying not to piece him with her claws. It was getting harder not to hurt people as she got older!

She was going to speak more to them when Roch called her attention, and the little monster turned to look at him. Was there something he wanted? "Si? What can I do for you gran hermano ?" He mentioned a present and Chuppi's spines stood up with excitement. "A present? Para mi? For me?"

Roch grinned holding out the thermos to her. "You said yours broke, right?" he said quietly. "And since you only drink blood, I figured this might come in handy tonight."
