"Been good!" Eva grinned at Wilson, sounding as chipper as ever, "This debriefing was a little sudden, but...I'm not surprised." Her voice took on a slightly dry tone then. From what she had seen and heard, Caelius had the tendency of sending out texts only a few minutes before they were expected to report, which usually meant that all the trainees had to drop everything they were doing and rush over. That was, so long as they didn't want to face the death division leader's wrath.
The young woman returned Jude's hello with a bright wave (she resisted the urge to sit beside him just to play with his hair), before her gaze drifted towards the curly-haired girl who had greeted her. Eva stared at her silently for a few seconds--hmm, an unfamiliar face?--before her lips spread into another smile. "Hey there! I'm Eva!"
And suddenly, more people were filtering in. Eva moved aside so that she wasn't blocking the door, and was made aware of the fact that her coat was still half-dangling only when she tripped over it.

Marcus had been trying to ignore his failures and shame that had happened over the past weeks. It was hard given the uh- reminders that lingered. One failure, his ability to 'lead' his fellow moon trainees still stung. He was supposed to be the one who they could depend on, but in the end he'd been a flop. Part of him unfairly blamed Dis, but he knew that he really could blame no one but himself. As a result he'd been throwing himself into training, doing whatever he could to just stop sucking. He wasn't sure how much progress he was making, if any. Days were spend doing what he was told, spare time devoted to trying to make himself better. The text was met with groan. The man had poor timing really, Marcus was already half dressed for his workout when he'd gotten the text, making him scowl at the fact he'd have to change back into his regular cloths. Ah, well a debriefing was good. Maybe they were to go on a new mission or whatever. Suited him just fine. Arriving he was surprised to see a new sight; a curly hair hunter. It seemed the wrong time to introduce himself given that they were going to get a lecture sooner or later. Maybe. Still, Gale seemed to have a part going on, mostly of the dudes...and not the one girl he knew he liked. He could try to help... Try. kuromeez Tip: Sit next to her, not away from her. PS: who is new girl? Cass got a smile and a wave but- Jude. Jude were you okay? Marcus went over and gave the guy a pat on the shoulder. "Been a while. Leon still bugging ya?" He waved over at Ryan, inviting him to join them. "Speaking of which you guys should be ranking up soon right?"

Wash, like everyone else, he assumed - he hoped - had gotten the text, and so he made his way to the designated room. If was a little sheepish, well. He hadn't exactly been doing his duty for the cause. He hesitated at the door, peeking around the frame. He realized slowly and with some chagrin that he still didn't really KNOW anybody. Now whose fault is THAT? Besides, what am I, chopped liver?

There was someone blocking the door, when Robert got to the room. He knew he was only seconds away from being late, and this guy was just standing there, blocking the door, looking all curious and innocent and-
"OI, BUDDY!" Robert clapped his hands on Wash's shoulders, gave them a firm heave, and practically forced Wash all the way inside this way, before letting him go and punching him on the shoulder. "No hard feelings man, but if you had made me late I was gonna kick your a**." He clapped Wash's shoulder hard, and gestured for the man to take a seat nearby.
"HEY, GUYS. Check it out. Fresh meat." Robert was in a ridiculously spicy mood today.

"AUGH!" What the- oh. The good news was, it wasn't a ninja. The bad news was, he just screamed like a maniac into another hunter's face. And then got clouted on the back. He had the good sense to wince and roll his shoulders appreciatively as he preceeded him into the room. What was WRONG with himself today? And why did hunter central feel so much like his freshman year of college? "Sorry man," he mumbled.

"Be nice, Robert," Jordan said lazily. "First impressions, all that." To the new guy, he offered a friendly smile. "That's just Robert. Don't take it personally."

Petra looked completely exhausted as she slipped into the room, not nearly commanding the same 'touch me and your hand might freeze off' attitude she wondered herself if she just naturally exuded. In fact, she looked more like a zombie as she meandered through the quickly-growing crowd of hunters, dull-eyed and barely even hearing any of the conversations that were springing up between the other hunters. The last few weeks had been hard, not even just because the higher-ups were using them for cheap (see: free -- they were supposed to be soldiers, not janitors,) labor -- the effects of the JOY potion had been exhausting in itself. By the dawn of the third day, most of the hunters had looked like they were on crack, eyes bright and wide, their smiles a touch creepy as they'd skipped down the hallways, singing nonstop at the top of their lungs. Crack was exactly how she liked to think of it too. That s**t made you do things, made you crazy. By the time the effects had even remotely started to wear off, the moon trainee suddenly had an intimate understanding of how Charlie Sheen felt about Tiger Blood. The high wore off, and she felt like she hadn't slept in a week. Maybe she hadn't, it was impossible to tell with that stuff.
But a lot of it probably had to do with Robert. It always did.
Sitting down next to Jordan, Petra gave his coffee a moderately mournful look, like it was both a beloved friend and a traitor to the cause. Sleep was what she really wanted, but sleeping through a meeting was practically asking for Caelius to shove Circe down your throat. On the other hand, in this instance, coffee was probably not a good idea. Soooo tempting though. After a moment of clear internal battle, she shook her head a little with a slow inhale, opting instead to rest her chin on her palm.

Gale studiously ignored the fact that Eva had just come rushing into the room, his face growing a slight shade redder as he slunk low in his seat, turning back to Molly...
...who was apparently feeding Wilson. Gale lifted a brow, amused in spite of himself, and then gave a mildly exasperated look at Tedan.
"Apparently none of us ate breakfast this morning," said Gale, giving a small snort and shaking his head. Except even as he said it, his own stomach growled unpleasantly - Caelius' text had been, to say the least, quite at the wrong moment, since Gale had not even gotten a chance to snag a bite more of his cereal before booking it out the door to the classroom.
He gave Jude a slightly apologetic look as the pale haired hunter was pulling himself back together, and a nod to both Minerva and Before, lifting a hand in greeting to the newly changed Mist hunter. The normally cheerful and upbeat Before looked, for lack of a better word, exhausted, and Gale tilted his head, giving him a slightly scrutinizing look.
Then his phone beeped. Gale pulled it out of his pocket and squinted at the screen.
His face turned a shade darker. Scowling, Gale quickly typed in a return message:istoleyurvamps She came in after me, you git. What was I supposed to do? Get up and move? Like that wouldn't be obvious at all... Then he snapped the phone shut, glowering at it as though it was its fault that he had told Marcus about his little crush.
<< It's your own fault, you know. >>
Shut up.

"Wha.." Robert paused, and gave his most hurtful look. "I WAS being nice!"
He was legitimately pouting.
For all of three seconds. Then Petra walked in, and Robert's expression lifted like a rainbow. ******** you guys. Petra was here.

Marcus flicked open his phone and sighed, typing in a reply. Kuromeez That's why you excuse yourself for a second and THEN go over to talk to her. Ask her what's up, how's she's doing. ACT CASUAL ITS NOT HARD GALE. He gave the boy an expectant look. You could do it Gale, he believed in you.

Wash smiled back, regaining some composure. He didn't quite recognize him either, he must be another one of the more senior hunters.
"Robert, eh?"
"Th' name's Washington. You can call me Wash, nice to meet you." He held out his hand in an affable fashion, still standing.

Jordan nodded back. "Jordan," he said. "Nice to meet you."
"Shoving a guy isn't generally categorized as nice," he said, then snorted as he realized that Robert wasn't paying attention any more. He waved to Petra.

Before returned the nod from Gale with a small smile. Normally he'd be content to hang out in the fringes but that was when he was a Lifer. He's a Misty now, and shouldn't that mean he practice ALL the Misty Skills? @n@ damn, that meant intel-related stuff. Which translated to knowing the people around him.
Oh God, was it socializing time? xAx who knows? M-maybe this wouldn't be so bad... DX he scooted closer to one of the groups in an attempt to eavesdrop. At the very least, he'll catch their names, right? OnO

"WASH. ********, that's a cool nickname. I like that. Okay, Wash. Nice to meet you." Robert shook his hand, his own handshake rather over-abundantly emphasized with strength and ego, before he let it go, and slowly turned Wash around.
"I like you, Wash. So I'ma give you a tip so you keep being my friend. See that fine, sexy, ridiculously hot piece of a** sitting beside my friend Jordan here? She is my Petra. That's my fiancee, and I am very proud to admit it. Which also means if anyone so much as touches her, I will remove the fingers that they touched her with."
Robert patted Wash's back, and laughed a single, hooting laugh.
"We're cool now, WASH. ********, why can't I have a name like that."

"Threats about mangling and grievous bodily harm, also not generally counted as nice," Jordan said, but he was grinning.
