 Akio Odetta Penburg Akio felt her catch his foot but his expression did not change as he was now in battle mode. Akio did not like to fight but when angered he would do so until he got his opponent to submit or he calmed down. He seemed to twist with her and slammed hit foot into her hand making her let go. He landed on his feet and simply glared at her. One of the bar patrons decided to try and add to the chaos and threw the by the scythe he had used earlier. Akio caught it easily and took on the right stance to use it as an unnatural wind filled the tavern though it felt just a little like a breeze as he still glared at her.

 Ailith was surprised that he hadn't taken her advice and had pulle daway just as easily. But the surprise was replaced by facination as the scythe he'd been given manipulated the air within the tavern. So... perhaps he is more than meets the eye. People were moving tables out of the way in order to make more room for the fight. Unsheathing her iron blade, she knew that if the scythe usd magic, then she would be at a disadvantage. She had yet to find a perfect weapon with magical qualities in it. The only thing that would keep her from dying or being wounded by magical means would be by using her own powers. But what fun would that be? He's a rookie. She held the blade with one hand easily, though it weighed almost half as much as she did just as easily. She was wating for him to make the first move in order to see whether she could find any weak points within his swings or stances. That was how she'd gotten through the training to become a lady knight.

Akio Odetta Penburg Akio moved a little closer to her before to he took a swing at her. A very strong swing as the wind seemed to carry with him but that was not Because of the scythe nor was his conscious doing. There was something about Akio that was hard to figure out unless you know about a certain type of warrior found usually in the nether world It didn't seem like he was trying to kill her though just wound her and force her down.

Ailith had studied about the history of warriors and hundreds of different fighting types. This was like nothing she'd ever seen before. Blocking the swing with her long sword, now held in both hands, she had stopped the blade just a foot away from her face. It was like he had become a different person. Pushing against the blade and knocking the scythe away, she tucked and rolled, landing on one knee and swinging at his knees. She was a quick fighter and scythes were weak against blocking from low attacks, or so she'd read about. She'd never actually gone against someone who'd wielded one.

Akio Odetta Penburg Akio actually brought the scythe down and let the blade hit the wood but his weapon did break. He began to force the sword up and tried to bring her up with it. Depending on the wielder scythes always had weaknesses when it came to lower attacks but he was displaying enough skill to get away with it.

Ailith let him take the sword, but over her dead body would she let him pick her up with his weapon. Instead, she rolled out and behind him, pulling a dagger from her boot and stood, wrapping her arms around his neck, the sharp blade placed against the soft skin of his neck. Yes, she wasn't playing fair, but she was tired and still sore from slaying the dragon earlier. "So you are sure you are going to die here?" She asked, her breathing hard from so much dodging. "From what I just saw, I wouldn't be surprised if you were the one chosen by the gods to help us defeat Azreal."

Akio Odetta Penburg Akio felt the blade against he neck and was smart enough to freeze there not dump enough to get himself killed that way but he calmed down. He let his scythe fall to the ground and sighed "Of course I am, I'm not a big fan of fighting." he said and closed his eyes "So what now?" he asked her since she had him in the position to kill him now.

Ailith released her grip on him and kicked him away with her knee to his mid-back. Sheathing her dagger back in her boot and picking up her discarded blade, she said, "Is it not obvious?" She raised an eyebrow in an inquiring sort of fashion. "You're the one sent by the deities to help us fight Azreal." The words that escaped her lips also surprised her, but she knew that she was right. "It's not every day that anyone simply appears with powers such as yours. Magic is becoming rarer and rarer as the days pass. Azreal's been targeting magic-users and all of the magical races throughout this land."

Akio Odetta Penburg Akio felt something hit hard into his back and held it "Out!" he yelled and turned to look at her "What was that for!" he said and looked at her "Magic? What magic?" he asked and looked at her "I can swing a scythe thats all I do...." he said still rubbing the spot where she hit him "I'm a Japanese boy....no god blessed me." he said "I simply used one of Zeruel's newest products." he said.

Ailith nearly kicked him again because of his stupidity. "And I'm a half-elf." She lifted her hair away from her ears and revealed the pointed tips. "Half-breeds aren't supposed to possess magic, but..." She held up her hand and a flame appeared within it. Closing her hand into a fist around it, the flame was put out. "I still have it. Maybe you aren't from the world, but that doesn't change the fact that you almost beat me in a one on one duel with minimal practice." Huffing with rage, she turned, she hated arguing with fools. "If you want to go your own way, you selfish fool, then do so. I won't be around to protect you everytime you run across a monster."

Akio Odetta Penburg Akio simply shrugged "Then goodbye." he said "Have fun on your quest." he said and walked out of the building. He stood outside for a moment and looked around "I guess I may as well go that way." he said and started walking but something stopped him in his tracks and made him unable to move. He suddenly felt himself walking back but it wasn't his wishes something was forcing him. He walked back to the inn and immediately went to Ailith "Actually I think it'll be best if I lend you my aid." he said but not intentionally.

Ailith had simply shrugged, acting as if she didn't care whether or not he chose to join her or not. In her mind, she was furious that he had left without a second thought. She had sat back down at the table, drinking the ale that she had ordered earlier. Just when she was about to run after him and beat him to a pulp unless he said that he would join her, he reappeared and offered his services. She nearly inhaled the ale that she had been drinking and looked up at him, noting that he appeared to not be making this choice by himself. So perhaps the deities are doing this? Well, whatever the case is, I hope he doesn't blame me. "Good choice, lad." Standing, she nodded towards the stairs that led to the rooms, she said, "Alright, we leave right and early tomorrow mornin'. You'd best rest up and prepare for a day's worth of riding."

Akio Odetta Penburg Akio nodded and continued upstairs to his room struggling to fight back against whatever force was controlling him I guess I have to go on this quest then he turned to his room and was dragged inside. He suddenly got control of himself but there was no way he could back out now so he just decided to follow her orders. He climbed into bed and closed his eyes "Maybe this is all a dream...and I'll escape it soon." he said and closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Ailith paid for his room before walking up the flight of stairs and into her room. Removing her armor and placing it on a chair, she changed into more comfortable clothes before crawling under the warm blankets and falling into a deep slumber. The next day, she woke up at the break of dawn and got ready for traveling. Knocking on his door, she called through the wood, "Wake up, otherwise I'll leave ya behind." Then she walked down the stairs and to the tavern, ordering a jug of milk, a large cut of cheese and some meat for later consumption.

Akio Odetta Penburg Akio's eyes snapped open and he instantly realized he was still here and he groaned "Great, its real." he said and stood up and walked downstairs. He was wearing the cloths from his world and since he didn't have anything to change into remained in them as he walked down and looked around before he noticed Ailith "Okay so it seems I'm being forced into this suicide mission with you..." he said "But I am going to tell you know, my cloths provide absolutely not defense poi- I mean protection against anything." he said "If I get into a fight I'm sure my Health Points-life will be taken away easily especially against a ranged opponent." he said. ((Btw...Tokyo Mew Mew looks awesome ^^ and yes I did in fact like that manga and show.))
