I just was told by a Gaia staffer (an official one from HQ) that we cannot use any Gaia-created character in our ball since it is a user-run event. That means that the Sandman has to go from our plot. The good news is that her character is non-essential to the plot, and there is a great candidate character in the main room that can easily take over that plot function. There is a glass lady who is hollow and empty, and epitomizes the emptiness of the dream world. She can easily follow the King and Queen of Dreams to the waking world, and charge all of the Gaian guests to the same task of restoring the dream worlds. This substitution shouldn't make any difference in the individual rooms, but will make our main plot 100% safe. I will be fixing it soon, and that means I'll FINALLY get around to making it shorter as was discussed months ago. blaugh

I thought there was a year that the annual ball's plot involved G-corp? :/

I just re-worked the plot to get rid of the Sandman. It's a bit shorter, but I'm wondering if I need to cut it down some more. Take a look at it, and let me know what you think!

That's too bad! I find it funny, because the Sandman as a character isn't really a Gaia-only character to use. But what they say goes, so I'm not going to argue. I like the lady of glass, too. She's so mysterious!

I like the lady of glass, too. She's so mysterious! Well, what we were using was pulled directly from Gaia's plot. We might have come up with our own, but there would be a ton of confusion about it. I'm glad you like the changes! I still have the original saved, but I want to see what everyone else thinks about how I re-worked it. It's still open to revision, of course.

I was looking at last year's main plot, and it seemed to be about the same length as the current one we have. If this one is shortened, about how much would need to be cut out?
