"No need to be so defensive. I'm sure classes would be easy for you, but just because you have no reason to feel it doesn't mean that you still could though. Haha, don't worry. I've always been nervous on my first days too! I always feel like I have to make a good impression, or the rest of my school year won't turn out so hot." Kasie mused to Sethrian in an attempt to reassure him, oblivious more like ignoring to his glares.

As for Kamil, Kasie was simply amused by his enthusiasm. He was just like her little brother, pulling all those stupid stunts. "Just make sure to have cushions on the ground if you do climb a tree. It'll soften the landing."

"You should get used to it. Kamil is a dragger, and I'm certain he'd drag me to if it weren't for the fact that he can't." Kasie grinned at the strict boy, thoughts going along the line that everyone should get along since they were going to be constantly seeing each other for the rest of the year. Also, maybe it was because she had Kamil and Sethrian by her side that she didn't start gushing blood all over the place. Thank goodness.

Sure, Briar knew they were short on teachers at the moment, but really? They seriously had to request the janitor to substitute for Battle Strategy? It was surprising that they'd sign a fairy up for it, but then again, this totally helped with setting him apart from everyone else!

Amping up the volume on his speakers, he flew towards the few people this might be easier than he'd thought it be! that had came by and brightly broadcast his appearance. "Hey there! I'm Briar, and I'll be temporarily substituting for your teacher. I'm not sure where he went, but since he's not here, y'all are stuck with me."

Sethrian was sulking. He knew he was, but he didn't like having his insecurities so readily pointed out. It wasn't his fault he was nervous. But just...being around people meant interacting, and interacting meant inevitably offending someone. And probably getting hit or slapped or worse. "I never make good first impressions," he muttered under his breath, resisting the urge to throttle Kasie (mostly because he knew he couldn't. And even if she was dead, violence toward girls was just not acceptable; and she was still a girl, even if she was dead.)

He was going to remark on the fact that Kamil had never dragged him anywhere--which one might contribue to the fact that Sethrian was a good deal larger than Kamil--but before he could, a ball of glowing pink sparkles floated over and claimed to be their teacher.

Sethrian facepalmed. Right then. This was going to be be interesting. They were being taught combat, by tinkerbell's little, well, he was tempted to say 'sister' but the voice was definitely masculine. Regardless. It was pink. This did not instill a great deal of confidence.

Kamil joined the group and found that another boy had joined them. He noticed a ball of pink that was floating around and he heard it mention something about teaching the class. Kamil wanted to call it a woman, but the voice was not very... feminine.

But perhaps this was what Sethrian meant by being manly when one wasn't so... manly-looking. Kamil wasn't entirely sure how this fairy could be manly at all, but being blown away by a guy that was shorter than him, it seemed possible. Kamil didn't want to get hurt any more than he is so he decided not to comment about the fairy.

"So! What are we going to do for class today?" Kamil asked, excited to get started with manly training.

"First of all, what's wrong with a female teaching a "man's" class? There's no need to be sexist when we obviously have a beautiful lady in this supposedly "manly" class." While Briar was all inspired to become as macho as possible, it was not cool to diss the ladies. Not. At. All. Plus, there was nothing wrong with a girl coming to this class. After all, it's not restricted to men, and she could perhaps want to embrace her inner macho as well.

"Second of all. I. Am. A. Man." He sharply interjected, puffing himself out as he zipped right in front of this sassy student to show him otherwise. The pink glow may have been deceiving, but up close, he was 100% male.

"As for class, I am spiting ya by saying that we're not going to fight. I say that we should play a game of tag. That's right. You heard me. Tag. Everyone is it except for myself. This way, you can plan as much as you want with each other and use any skill you want, just as long as you can successfully catch me with two hands. The only thing I ask is that you don't smash me when you try."

What was sad was that Kasie would have squealed in delight at seeing a fairy like from her childhood stories if it weren't for the fact that the thought of this puny creature was going to teach them. It was also... apparently male by the sounds of it. A very aggressive male by the way he defended her and hit on her?. She just hoped there wasn't going to be any fighting because well, that would be unfair to the people she had to go up against. Instead, their substitute had proposed Tag. What? That was surprisingly easy, but... she was still going to fail at this.

Fight!? What? Now!? Kamil wasn't ready at all. In fact, he didn't know a thing about fighting on the surface yet. How could he fight now!?

"Wait, wait, wait, wait! Aren't we going to do some warm ups before we just start throwing tails-- er-- feet at each other!?" Kamil cried out. If they just started fighting, Kamil was certain that the ground would be his best friend by the end of the day.
