He wouldn't have survived if they declared him a witch. His thoughts about the witch trials were interrupted by something he certainly did not expect. "Mmf!?" At first, he flailed a bit, having no clue that was going to happen, but after a second, he relaxed and enjoyed himself. He thought it was terrible if someone came in before. Now his mind was burning with the thought that someone could just swing the door open at any moment. Or maybe he was just being paranoid. Question marks could be seen popping up above his head, at first not quite understanding what she was saying. Eventually, he began to focus again and caught on, frowning up at her. He understood what she meant and knew it was true, but still. It was a pride thing. He twitched and blushed when she kissed him again. "S-s-so-sorry..." Was all he could manage to say. Zhori grinned. That confused expression on his face was so adorable. She leaned down to nibble his earlobe. "Oh, it's okay. I really just dislike seeing you unhappy. I would hate seeing something terrible happen to you because you took scaring the students too far as well."
She grinned. "So...what should we do now?"

Anything to kill his awkwardness. He searched around the kitchen, frequently dropping things in his small panic. He eventually decided to make hot chocolate instead, figuring it would be best since it's been cold lately. He was mixing some cinnamon in the cups of hot cocoa when he finally started to think rationally again. God, was he glad that no one came into the dorms. That thought hadn't even crossed his mind before, but now that it did, he was sure he would have rather killed himself right then and there than face the shame. After Simon left, Zhori took the opportunity to poke around the room some more, then try out his nail bed and stare at the chains on his ceiling wondering just what they were there for and if she really wanted to know. Well, life at the school was finally getting interesting.
As she thought about the school though, she started wondering about some of the strange events taking place. The roach creature, the snake creature. She wasn't a fool. There was someone behind these things. And they weren't interested in formulating harmless pranks, or just scaring people.
They wanted to harm people en masse, and didn't care who.
She didn't think it was Simon--especially not if he was afraid to stage a simple explosion. Besides, he'd jumped into the snake monster fight and gotten himself hurt. No, it was someone else.
As she lay there staring up at Simon's ceiling, she tried to decide if she should get involved, or just sit back and watch from the sidelines. At last if she did the latter, she had someone to keep her company while she did. Heh.

He pushed the door open with his foot and noticed Zhori was laying on his bed of nails. Odd. Before it seemed like she didn't even want to try it. "I hope I'm not interrupting any deep thinking...?"
