Homura looked up towards the sickening sky. "I don't even know if I do have a mom to go back to. My dad was killed, and I had no siblings." she replied.

She thought of her younger brother, though her step mom must have filled his head with horrible untrue things about her. Her dad was probably not even caring like he always did.

Homura sighed, thinking of how alone she was now. Her father dead, her mother completely loyal to the Government, too afraid to go against, that she gave away her own daughter. "I won't kill you then. You seem you have a family to return too, when this is over. I don't want to part you from whomever." she said.

She thought for a moment "But as I think about it, I don't think I will be able to return to the person that is waiting for me... or I am not sure at least." She said. She thought for a moment, her brother would be twelve now if her math was right.

Homura frowned, and grabbed Celia by the arm. It was slightly intimidating, but not threatening. "Don't say that! You will return if you survive. You have people waiting for you when you get back. You can't give up now." she said. In truth, Homura was slightly going through a mental breakdown. A family, reunited, no matter what family, had to be like that. And one of the things she hated most was doubt.

❀ ✿Celia✿ ❀"I prefer my actions to speak for me..."Theme Celia raised an eyebrow at the girl's sudden actions. She sighed and leaned against the tree "I do have people... but the question of if they are waiting for me is at large. I ran away from home when I was thirteen because my step mother... isn't the nicest person and thinks of me as a nuisance. My father doesn't care about what happens to me because he wants no emotional attachment to me because of the events when my mother died. The only one who has the slightest chance of waiting for me is my little brother... who is most likely hearing nonsense about me from that no good woman whenever he asks about me and where I disappeared to when he was only six." She said all of this in a clam tone. She sighed "They has plenty of chances to find me, and they have not yet." She said. She was quiet for a moment then laughed "Sorry, I am venting..." She said, rubbing her head slightly.

Homura stopped, realizing that she must have looked a bit like a fool moments earlier. She let go quickly, shaking her head. "No.. it's ok. I was being a fool.." she replied.

Homura took the blade that she had in her hand, and stabbed it into a tree trunk, letting out her frustration and anger. Why would the Government just send people to die? It wasn't their fault was it? Plus, wasn't it the Government's job to protect the people? She hated it.

After pretty much making the tree to the point that it probably would have cried, Homura stopped. She sighed, and sat down at the roots of the tree. "Do you think that it's actually worth it to try to live through this?" she asked.
