Carlisle smiled at Alice and nodded, restinf his head agaisnt hers gently like he had when she was small and needed calming. His eyes looking into hers softly, smiling and loving. His heart was one of the biggest most woul know, he didn't seem capable of doing harm to even those that deserved it unless there was really nothing else to be done. " My little Alice, tell me about these grandfoals I seem to have asquired... tell me of our family and all I have missed."

Alice looked up at her 'father' with bright eyes, her puprle trinkets jingled as she walked with a dancing skip in her step. She wouldn't tell him all of the terror they had encountered before finding Maion and the Miakoda herd... some things deserved to stay in the past. "Jasper is always so lovely, he had done his best to protect us all.... and while I was pregnant he nearly went insane." She tried to recall everything, she hadn't carried very well at all... Chandra had actually feared that she would lose her and teh children, ok... probably not the best thing to tell him either. Alice predicted her father would be just as protective of her as Jasper had been. "He hated me being pregnant... wouldn't let me do anything and wanted it to be over as soon as possible." She smiled up at Carlisle. "But he loves them now. Two boys and a little girl." Sophia had been born a very sick little girl, but it seemed that now she was growing up she was also growing out of it... she looked stronger and stronger every day. "Sophia has a crush on a deer soquili called Kristan. Lovely boy, dotes over her." Alice still had nightmares about what had happened when they had first met, a demon had tried to harm Sophia and Kristan had stood up for... that was the reason she didn't mind them being friends and hanging out together. Even if she would always be her little girl. "Renesme has three beautiful children, two boys and a girl also... seems to be a family trait." Her tail swished from side to side. "Crown is training as a protector, Eden likes to tinker with things." She didn't see much of Paris... or her own two sons for that matter. Still they all had her best wishes.

Carlisle nods listening, smiling ruefully well able to believe that Jasper had been beside himself when Alice was expecting. He had never faced that himself but he could imagine it well having aided in a few births in his time. "Maybe it is, who knows, or maybe it is just You and Renesme being very in sync... If you have more maybe next time it will be 2 girls and a boy each." Shrugging amused, not about to delve into future plans too much. Some had one set and never wanted more, and some had many and always wanted more and everything inbetween. But the future was not his domain. "I'm glad to hear that everyone seems happy and healthy."

Alice smiled at him and winked playfully; "Shall I look into the future? Maybe we can find out?" She stopped walking for a moment and her expression turned blank just as it always did when she attempted to see the future. She saw more children but their faces were clouded all she saw were smiles. She supposed that was because although she intended to have more children their genders wouldn't be determined until she was actually pregnant. Coming out of the trance she said, "You may be right... more children ahead." She had looked into her daughters future many times, but not much had changed for Renesme. Perhaps when a discision was made she would see more. That was the only draw back about her 'powers' they had a mind of their own at times.

Carlisle just smiled and shrugged. "I'll just hope I don't get any great great grandchildren too soon... I feel old enough as it is being a great grandfather already." His tone teasing, though none of his family were biologically his they were his children which made Renesme's children his great grandchildren... Yup he was getting old for a single guy. The thought on how weird it would be when he did eventually mate for his children to have great nieces and nephews so much older than them. Shrugging again, love had never found him and stuck, so who knew, maybe he would never mate.

Alice's eyes went wide, she hadn't even considered her own children or even Renesme's children having children. Still... "Eden has a mate. So maybe that will be a reality soon rather than later. Dorian has a mare but he doesn't want to she her pregnant in case he loses her. I think Paris, Crown, Sophia, and Darius are still single." Alice has no idea about Crown's 'preference' as far as she was concerned no mare had yet caught his attention.

Carlisle groaned and shook his head. "Definately not, but alas thats the curse of not looking your age... Though if given a choice I'd rather look my age and feel young than look young and feel old." Shaking his head again. "But lets not think on that any more or I might grown wrinkles as we speak." Grinning amiably, Carlisle was a serious stallion usually but he didn't want to seriously think on this topic, he was known for giving and being there for others but this was something that hit home and would persist if he let it. Best to play it light and face that prospect another time, he had already faced dying alone once, at least then it had been for a good cause.

Alice smiled up at him, slightly oblivious about everything going on in Carlisles mind. "You could never be old." She truely believed that, to her she would always see the youthful spirited stallion with a heart of gold and enough compassion to fill the world. It was part of why she loved him.
She wrinkled her nose, they were pratcially at the herd lands now. Smiling softly she said, "We're here."

Carlisle nods and looks round, letting the mood of the place settle into him. This was a goodplace and he was glad that his children had found it and been welcomed here. Smiling at Alice, letting her lead wherever she wanted to. He had no preference and no idea about this herd, beyond that they must be good in many ways for Alice to be so comfortable and happy here.

The world suddenly felt bright and new to Alice. And with her father walking beside her she genuinely believed she could do anything. Be anyone she wanted. She may glimpse the future but once again she had another reason to live it. Her family. Carlisle... Jasper... Renesme.... Dorion, Darius, Sophia... Eden, Crown, Paris... all of them.
Who truely knew what tomorrow would bring?!.
