OOC
1. I've been writing down exactly whats been happening. Learn. To. Read.
2. You misunderstand what I've said, yet again. If you look what I was attempting to do was take them down before they even got close and then allow them to be held back and strike them down again. You ignored every single one of my posts.
3. Yes, they can ignore him, YOU CAN'T. You are GMing this little excursion and you should respond to all the posts as they come. I saw one reaction to the rains, and it was incorrect because you misread my post.
4. Its how Torment acts, get used to it. He knows he's the most powerful damn thing for miles and he's going to display it like it is. If you could tear a planet in half you sure as hell wouldn't be humble.
5. Yes, thats how an Archmage does his business. I'll also mention you misunderstood me AGAIN. Archmagi don't walk into the thick of battle and mix it up. They let others mix it up while they blow everything the ******** up. The reason I haven't been RPing the golems is cause they've had nothing to do, and without anything to do they stand idle.

NOW, are you going to stop being an ignorant ******** or shall I just stop posting because you're ignoring me anyway?

The golems stood sentry around the camp and Torment sat at the exact center. The Golems would crumble at first light. Torment was in deep meditation, extending his perceptions beyond the norm as a sort of warning system to detect anything that can be seen, heard, or smelled within five hundred feet of his location. He didn't need to sleep, merely rest as he was currently doing.

(( like i said, you didnt state your attack. i checked all your posts, it was no where mentioned! its a key element in roleplaying and this is how it looks for an outsider: you fly up into the air, play around, doing nothing.
if i have to roleplay a character that has no info on someone, i must play them ignorent, there is not some magical way they just know stuff somehow.
if someone missreads your posts, dont asume they didnt read it properly, try looking at what they could have missinterpertated and try to avoid it the next time.
on the archmage thing again, on the subject that they are strong and powerfull i agree, but on the way they work... your discribing a archwarlock (warlock = evil mage, if you didnt know yet). ))

* Lady Morgana walked over to Torment *
Can i have a word with you?
I have no idea whats going on in the Pass, but ist not natural.
none of the Jinto knows this, but i grew up here, close to the pass.
And in al this years i never has seen such strange phenomina happen, as if evil has found a door way.
Though the rest of Jinto has little knowledge of magic, i could see you could handled it fine.
when in the pass, please tell us in advance what your planning to do.. and dont take your time, we shouldnt spend more time then is needed.

* the sun started to rise, but it wasnt a good omen.
the sky was looking blood red, seen as misfortune in many religions. *

Quote:
The acid would only hit the wolves and any splashing off would return to the skies.

Quote:
Down it fell once again, falling as several continuous streams that aimed to strike each of the remaining wolves, aiming to bore through their undersides and up into their hearts.

((If I didn't state my attack, then what the hell are those? I sent acid to hit the wolves and ******** 'em up, but you ignored it. And hell yeah after you started ignoring me I'm going to do nothing, cause my posts don't matter anyhow. Yes, you RP the characters as ignorant, but you don't prove yourself to be an ignorant ******** as an RPer along the way. Don't give me that bull, I tried to ******** work around your ignoring me but you Just. Kept. Doing. It. Warlocks deal only with darker energies, though not inherently evil. They don't cast spells so much as evoke effects. An Archmage can be of any alignment because it is a descriptor of how they work what they do, not their alignment.))

Torment didn't speak for a long while after she had spoken, but when he did she would perceive his voice coming from behind her. His lips would not move as he spoke, "Your hypothesis is correct. The flows of mana are indeed far from whimsical in these areas, dark and brooding. If you so desire I can enforce the perception that our thoughts are known to the other, allowing you to know my intentions. As for what I do, you must understand all magic takes time, though mine less so." As the sun began to fall over him his eyes slowly opened, several alterations rippling across his body with the dawn of the new day.

(( i had a friend who knows a few things more about RP-ing.
he advised me that you should read these:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magi
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archetype
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Role-playing_game
these might shed some light on our differences.
His first impression of your action was "dragonballZ-fanboy", that your character is a misstype, that your character is more a warrior with mage-skills, not an archemage.
he also found where the mistake was made:
Tacitus
If he heard her, he ignored what she had said, he was having much more fun playing around in his storm that was maintained through perception, and ended when he so desired, though no additional mana was required to be channeled.

also, he wishes an answer on the following question:"what do believe is the difference between an attack and a move?". ))

* as she heard the voice of torment, she nodded no.
She knew it would only be wasting precious mana, which would be needed if they would every drop of it.
with dawn break appearing, Jinto quickly got them selves ready fot the pass.
additional protections were made to protect statue from harm.*

((Look, Torment isn't even a mage at all. If you've been reading the actions you'd notice he is not casting spells but altering perceptions. A mage uses mana in order to create effects, Torment channels mana to alter perceptions because he can not yet do it through force of will alone. I call him an archmage simple because people think of it and know he must be a powerful spellcaster. Aside from this, everything is relative. I may call him a archmage, you might call him a crackpot, someone else may call him a fool. I can call him whatever I like because he is my character.))

((If ya really want to know what Torment is in D&D terms, he would have no specific class because what he does cannot be defined by D&D any longer. He is much like a psion in that he uses limited psionics to alter reality to conform to his perceptions, but mana is needed to catalyze the reaction. Beyond this he also can be considered an Incarnate from Magic of Incarnum, most of the Soulmelds being used taken from it almost exactly, for now.))

((As for your friend, Torment is not a warrior, he is mainly a spellcaster-though he has evolved over time to become more than just a sorcerer. Shar`Addan is the main combatant. As for the mistake, I'm not seeing it. That post was made when there was no combatants and he was utilizing his ability to change which Soulmelds are bound at any given time. As for his question, a move would generally be a technique that can be performed and perhaps even incorporated into a combo attack, where an attack is generally any hostile action directed at a target. Don't you dare try and say I only made moves and no attacks, and therefore didn't need to be responded to. Even if they were moves, and not attacks as they were, you still have to respond. I don't see how you can misinterpret acid hitting the wolves as anything but an attack. Furthermore, I don't see how you can be incompetent enough not to reply to it. The only one making mistakes here is you. I have had several people review this as well, and all but one said to just nuke you all and be done with it. The other said to pillage whatever you have, nuke you, and then be done with it.))

((I'll note I take offense to having any ties placed upon my character with DBZ. I play a Tier I character, granted, but such a label is uncalled for. If he would like to make such a claim to my face, let him do so and not through a messenger boy.))

((Now, if you're you're finally done being an ignorant ********, drop the subject and lets just RP.))

Under his influence perceptions were altered, shadows of beasts flitting through the forests beyond as three figures began to emerge. These three were golems like the ones from the previous day, but these were formed of the detritus from the forest floor mixed with the soil and insects in the area. They could only take two hits, but they were much faster and more versatile. Torment himself kept his wings wrapped around him as he slowly began walking towards the pass, not waiting for the others. His head fell as his perceptions began to stretch out from his body, a kiss meeting the light of the ring upon his finger.

(( you might call me an ignorant ********, but your latest OOC is so full of contraditions, that i even wonder if you even read them.
it would probably have no use pointing them out, since you will probably dismiss as me being ignorant.

as for your post edit; only a gamemaster is allowed to make such changes.
the fact that i allowed you to make those changes was a token of good will.
if you start bitching about me being ignorant, that i didnt read your posts after this post, your name will be noted in the deathnote.
you will be concidered dead, your sould is ripped from your body and can never return.
if there any other things you want to discuss or you want to clarify, you PM me.
this is a ROLEPLAYING topic, not a DISCUSSION topic.
did i make myself clear?! ))

* as Jinto was almost finished to start their journey through the akume pass, they saw Torment leave alone into the pass.
Some of Jinto looked reluct, others with relief.
Morgana calms the groups down, by claiming that Torment only stood watch over them, and analysing them.
She says to them that he has gone ahead, to clear the way so they can clear the pass as fast as posssible. *

((Dude, I didn't ask for you to edit because I didn't like the result, I asked you to edit because you were wrong. Its a simple ******** mistake, get over it. If I had made a mistake and you wanted me to correct it I'd say, "Oh, my bad, didn't see that. I'll edit." I wouldn't make a bitchfest out of it. As for your threat, your claim is impossible, so it means little to me. Can't rip the soul from a body when the soul created that body. Also, you need to remember that in this guild you are a member and I am a Vice-captain. Keep that in mind.))

Two of the three golems stayed by his sides, one in front and one behind, a guard of sorts. The other one darted ahead, scouting out the terrain, its own perceptions relayed back to Torment in real time. He had a grasp of his surroundings that was unparalleled by mortals, and slowly this grasp began to force perceptions to alter once more. As mana flared around him and channeled through him his form began to waiver as he began enforcing the perception that he simply could not be perceived. He was the only one actively perceiving himself, so this would be easy, and if any were it wouldn't be that difficult. In all functions it seemed to be an invisibility spell, but in no ways could he be detected or perceived, going beyond simple invisibility.

(( lets put it simple, every time you want to use a keyaction [like an attack, or other special moves], or prepair for a keyaction; you place in the nessecary statstic.
failing to do so, it will not be concidered an keyaction [this to prefent confusement].
My job in this topic is GameMaster, im supposed to lead the story and the faite of the players. so i can write your character out of it with 10 keystrokes.
This stands alone from the guild, if i were to start a new mission/quest, it shall not be influenced by this topic. ))

the terrain was quite rough, the roads through the pass werent easy to manouver through.
the roads take one very deep into the pass, where light can hardly penetrate, making it damp and clammy.
a faint trail of fog lingers accross the ground, making the roads not very visible.
small echoes roamed the pass, coming from every direction which could ever scare the bravest men since all those echoes could easily confuse them.
all those echoes made it almost impossible to determine who the enemies are, where enemies are and how many.
cracks every where, easily usable to ambush anyone.
it was easily recognizable why jinto rather not go through the pass.

as the first golem walked into the deeper regions of the pass, eyes were fixed on him.
a pack of goblins attacked the golem from behind.

statistics goblins

description: the grey skinned goblins blend in perfectly with the rockformations and color.
they paint them selves with mud for camouflage reasons, to approach an unfortune prey from a closer range.
there main weapon are sharpened wooden sticks, using them as jack-knives.
they have strong muscles, specially their legs( since they have specialized them selves in ambush).
one thing a fighter said about these goblin:"they are indeed strong, but not very bright. they are so stupid they dont know fear."
they are known for attacking in groups, the ammount of one group is to this day still unknown.

((Sorry for the delay in my reply. How many can be seen as of yet? Or at least how many are attackign the scout?))

As the goblins came out behind the Golem it stopped and glanced to them, perceived by Torment through the golem and his orders relayed back to it. It darted at them with incredible speed, its goal to slam into them, essentially running them over with its speed as it returned to its master. If it failed or was destroyed, it was no major loss. Torment himself was beginning to call upon mana to channel through his form, an orb forming in each upturned palm, one a swirling white and the other a pale blue.
