Well, that explained the alarm. Sherry had never seen anything like it before. It seemed to be some kind of robot, though it was creepy as hell. Whatever it was exactly, it looked like it wanted to take the building down. And that was not a good thing. There was only one thing she could do. Stand with the other trainees to take the thing down!
Sherry adjusted her grip and moved in to attack, coming in low and stabbing upward with her blade.
this is fun.> Armagnac seemed to approve.

Punching things does wonders for the mind.
All the irritation that Leon felt as he walked in was gone, sure he did picture Robert's face in the vending machine's glass barrier before it fell to pieces., but it helped. "I got you your unhealthy crap." he mentioned boastfully and threw package after package at the fellow squad member. The package of protein bars.
That he kept for himself, as part of his own reward for a job well done. Mmmm Fiber.
"So you didn't cause some kind of disaster while i was gone did you?" he asked Robert as he began to unwrap the bar and its nuts from the package. And got an earful of warning sounds screeching at them all.
And leon just stared at The other male hunter present. "What. Did. You. Do.?" thankfully to his ears, it wasn't the fault of the life squad, as Julie began to give them a short briefing on what to do.
And not exactly where to go. "Way to go there, sweet cheeks!" he bellowed out as his chainsaw sprung to life and the boxer went racing down the hall after the new life hunter girl and the target that needed a good stabbing.
"SAY AH YOU PIECE OF JUNK!"

Reine couldn't help smirking at Robert's reaction to the announcement. Whatever the aberrant life form was, it seemed huge enough to shake the building, however slightly. That was interesting. Leon and his snacks were ignored in favour of a possible battle.
She had her weapon summoned before Robert could tell her to; all that remained was figuring out where... oh. Another thundering crash provided the answer to that particular question, and along with the other life hunters, she made her move. Except she hadn't hit hard enough, and Alynthe barely left a scratch on the robot.
Well then.

With a snarl she hit back again. The robot was dealing far more damage than it was taking, and Reine winced as it smacked her with a giant metal arm. Clearly she needed to take a class or two in robotics- she had never been that impressed with giant robots, and she was learning otherwise the painful way.
Clutching her side, Reine readied herself for the next hit. She didn't think she could last very much longer, if this went on- she'd need to think of some kind of strategy.

Before she could even think up any sort of plan, the robot hit out at her again, and fired a sort of laser beam that she only barely managed to avoid, though the damage was done; she'd even dropped Alynthe in her panic, and now she searched for the swordbreaker, whispering a 'sorry' as she picked the sword up from the ground. Her weapon at least she had no intention of turning into scrap metal.
This robot, however...

Tori slightly jumped at the alarms that were going off in the labs which had gotten her weapon to stop laughing to which she was glad he stopped. Carefully listening to alarm message and she couldn't believe that something had gotten into Desu. Quickly she buckled the front of her coat and cinched up her bag closer to her body. Moments later Tori was holding her bladed-chain weapon to which she make sure she had a good hold on the chain. Gripping the sword handle as she was still nervous as Aklin purred in her head to comfort her and his excitement for a fight and stayed close with the other girls.
Well now she knew what had made the alarms go off in the labs and strange sound the closer they had gotten to the entrance. Tori didn't like the sounds that were coming from the creature as it just made her want to kill it more, to which suited her weapon perfectly.

Growling at her missing hitting the robot and to keep Aklin to cool his jets. He did cool it a little but got more excited which just making Tori excited too. Grinning as she once more charged at the robot.
This time she felt her weapon cut into the robot as her weapon made more excited happy noises in her head.

Robert's batleth swung hard, and it swung fast, crashing down into the windshield of the robot with a sickening thud. For once, he could even feel Jezebel's delight; this was no creature of her world. She feltfree to maim and destroy, and Robert was happy to comply. His body twisted in mid air as he hacked away, remarkbly graceful moves that somehow still suited his giant form.

Robert backed away after that first hit, and kissed his blade for luck. He could feel her purring in response, and grinned ferally.
"Good job girls, I think this robot wishes it hadn't messed with the Life Division."
He was gained a sick pleasure from fighting with his Division; he was nothing if not fiercely loyal.
Another leap into the air had him slamming into the shield again, trying to make this a weak spot.

He heard the sweet sound of glass cracking on his third hit to the windshield, and dropped down to one knee, his breath growing ragged and shallow.
"Hit.." He huffed, and tried again. "Hit the glass, it's weak now!"
It was the best he could do. For everyone's sake, he hoped it would be enough.

Leon wanted to take advantage of the cracks in the robots armor.
But there were girls in PJ's fighting the robot.Oh yes. they had weapons yes. BUT PILLOWS.
O_O He was going to be in a daze for just a bit and try to make it look like he wasn't staring at the view from the back.

It took a few minutes, but the boxer was able to tear his eyes away from the girls and join back into the fray. Eye candy that went to such a waste. "Stupid damn Robot, i'm going to turn you into scrap metal for this!" he muttered in a rage and took out his frustration on its reinforced hide. Inbetween all the pummeling of weapon against metal plating, the not so subtle sound of leon's phone began to ring out with its rocky theme. It felt fitting for the battle if Leon was able to hear it over the steady revving of Nid in his hands. Thank gods for the vibrate option. Even he was surprised that the phone was being called right in the middle of battle as he fell back behind the others to see if the message was important. it was before. ._. It had to be before. Well, any help right now would be good help and by the looks of the beast they were taking down, he had to give it a shot and text the hunter back frantically. Huni Pi Can't talk, fighting a rock 'em sock 'em robot by the main gates. need assistance. HP: 10/40 Damage: 5 Charge: 2/3 Boss HP: 23/70

Sherry had stepped back after her first hit, but now she was moving in for another. Cracks in the glass? Got it! She turned her weapon in her hands, making ready for another jab.
Unfortunately, her target was flailing, and rather than landing a hit, Sherry took one. "Ow!"

Armagnac hissed in her head as Sherry regained her footing. Her pause was short, then she came ducking in again, aiming for the glass on the robot.
She hit! But the blow was a grazing one, causing almost no damage. Cursing, Sherry stepped back to prepare for yet another attack. Her foot caught on something, and the trainee stumbled -her feet seemed to tangle and she fell hard onto her backside.
"Damn!" She muttered as she rolled sideways and moved to get back onto her feet.
