Just to have fun, Solemn splashed on his way out of the water, catching his hoof on a root. "Oh of all the times." He kicked at the root, watching as Joke made his way towards them and laughed hissingly at him. "You think this is funny, do you? Wait til later." He looked around the cave and shook his body somewhat dry.

Wed had started to look around by the time the twins decided to surface. "It looks like there are quite a few places to explore in here." She dripped as she walked over to one passage. "Want to check out in there? There may be something wicked we can mess with."

Miss peered down the halls uncertainly, before shaking his head. "I think we should get an idea of the size and scope of this place before we start going through the rooms. It'll be easier to keep track of where we are and where we've been, that way."

Solemn moved up along side Miss, glancing around with his twin. There was something in here to cause some fun. "Well, brother, what should we do with these findings? After we explore."
He grabs something to mark which way they had walked in case there were more ways to go about.

"I say we do nothing since I wouldn't want people messing with my den too much. Just the basic exploration and pranks?" Wed said, adding in her two cents.

Miss nodded. "Probably see what there is to find, and then find the best possible way to rearrange or hide them?" he suggested. "I wouldn't take them out, we don't want anything to really go missing." He looked around, and started walking down what looked to be the main tunnel. "But first, let's see how big this den is."

Solemn moved to allow Wed to go by after Miss. "Well, lets start. I am curious to know what made all of this." He looked along the walls, searching for any crevices to put the smaller items they might find.

Wed wandered the main tunnel with Ring Bearer close to her side, her eyes taking in all that was around her. She didn't really see anything she could cause trouble with, but she did see what appeared to be claw marks. "It looks like some sort of beast with claws..."

"Well, this might have been an old badger den, once upon a time?" Miss hazarded. "Maybe the owner has a pet and uses it to help with digging. This would take forever to clear with hooves."

Solemn nodded and peered closer, "Maybe more than one? Some of these look different." He wasn't exactly sure he wanted to be there if it was more than two. He wasn't exactly cowardly, but in the small area, he didn't want to have to fight in it. Looking up, the buck noticed a bit more roots, hanging down close to their ears. "Just more stuff up there for us to get caught on."

Wed rolled her shoulders in what would be a human shrug. "Eh, who cares? Let's go find something to cause trouble with." She was impatient to learn more about the doe she'd seen. Maybe something interesting would come to the surface? As she walked to an off branching tunnel, the walls got to be much closer together.

Miss watched as the ground started to slope upwards, and the roots started to thicken around them, making them wind down an ever-smaller passage. "This is getting pretty tight..." he said, watching the doe in front of him squeeze past the low roots with relative ease as he and his twin had to wiggle.

Solemn grunted as he made his way through. "Miss, sometimes I wish I had been born a doe for things like this." He was use to feeling slithering on his back so the roots weren't a surprise. Glancing around, something shiny caught his attention. "What do we have here?"

Wed wasn't exactly comfortable but she wasn't panicking either. "What is it? Do you see some of her stuff?" Wed couldn't exactly turn around in the tight confines of the the den so she had to ask over her shoulder.

Miss laughed. "Me too, brother. I know." At his brother's query, he leaned in, looking at the object of interest with a querulous expression. "It's a scale, I think," Miss said, leaning over to poke at it with his nose. It was dry, and flat, and shone in the light that had caught it and lit it up for himself and his brother to see. He hadn't seen anything quite like it before, and resisted the urge to take it in his mouth to keep. Don't actually want to nick anything, in case it's really special.
"In any case, I think this goes out somewhere. Should we keep following it?"
