Other Information: As a selkie, Alima's true form is a seal. However, when she goes above water, she sheds the hide and becomes a human, as according to legend. She's a very curious and adventurous sort, but often is underestimated by others due to her somewhat "delicate" appearance. Once Alima breaks through her reserved mindset, she has the ability to be a strong minded and willing individual. She holds no magical ability besides the shjedding of her skin, and makes up for it in smarts and skill. She hails from a clan of selkie in the North who reside in underwater seacaves and have lived on the coast for centuries through thick and thin.

 Name: Maugis Palatinus Gender: Male Age: 174 Race: Paladin Elementalist [Paladins specialize in the element of light] Which Territory You Reside In: The Moondancer Single or Taken: Single Bio: Maugis was born into a secret religious order residing in the Otherworld, being the son of two powerful elementalists it was only natural that he received the combined power of both parents. He progressed through the ranks quickly and became the youngest elementalist to become a fully developed Paladin. Though the life of being a paladin was far different to that of what he had expected, the order bordered on fanaticism, they believed that the Otherwold was a hellish plain and had to be cleansed of its many evils. Vampires, werewolves and other creatures were all killed under the premise of being enlightened, the Order believed that this was the only way to save these creatures from their wrongful ways and thus did not bother giving them a chance to prove themselves. Maugis, being inquisitive by nature, questioned many of the order's ways including why all creatures, even those who seem to be under control, had to be killed in order to be saved and reach enlightenment, and it was questions such as these that inevitably lead to his banishment from the Order after he had disobeyed a direct command from the high Priest. He has been living on the run from assassins sent by the order ever since. Additional Info: Paladins are a very rare sight in the Otherwolrd, only a very selected few from The Order of Light achieve this rank. They specialize in the element of light and thus make master hunters of creatures living in guise of night and this is why many creatures hate Paladins. Through years of meditation and training they are able to live countless centuries depending on whether the Paladin feels a sense of purpose, when a Paladin loses sight of that purpose or achieves it he or she will simply seize to be.

I might ask you to make a few minor changes in the future (but keep the back story as a whole) in order to fit it into the history a bit better, since I didn't plan for anything like this - except in the 1000+ Years Beyond RP (located in the sub-forum of the same name). Genrin619 I might ask you to make a few minor changes in the future (but keep the back story as a whole) in order to fit it into the history a bit better, since I didn't plan for anything like this - except in the 1000+ Years Beyond RP (located in the sub-forum of the same name). Bio: Anabellee was a devoted witch hunter. She was one of the best in her clan particularly due to her lack of compassion. However, due to the fact that she was human and of a petite build, she lacked the strength and endurance of other hunters and beasts. During one of her missions she had to slaughter an entire family of witches. They were powerful, but Anabellee was confident in her weapons and traps. She also knew a few instant spells - the Cross clan practiced a restricted amount of witchcraft in order to shift the scale in their favor. After quietly slicing the throat of the newborn (the alarm), her killing spree began. The mother and her daughter were weak targets, but the father was a challenge. It was he who posed a real threat to her clan. When he was about to deal a devastating blow from an angle she could not possibly defend, his son intervened and stopped him. The father-figure started fighting with his son instead. Just my luck, Anabellee thought. She happened to stumble upon a household with a severe family feud.
The man killed his own father and allowed Anabellee to draw his essence and take his head as proof. She thanked him charmingly and left.
Ever since then he watched over her in every mission, becoming stronger by sharing the essence of those she killed. Eventually he approached her and befriended her. Anabellee was shunned by her family for her alliance with a witch, but she married him anyway and conceived a child. They were a happy little family of three, until the Cross clan decided to reclaim their daughter. They murdered her husband in the most gruesome way and threw her three-year-old child into the cold to suffer until death would engulf her. Anabellee, after being forced to watch all this in terror, was sacrificed to the gods for her betrayal and ended up in the Otherworld. She was smart about hiding her existence from the vampires and sneaked into the Ravenheart library to read up on countries. Eventually she set out for the Island of wisdom and power, as she called it, and was given the title Duchess. Only her hard work and her ability to persuade the people granted her a minor chair on the Council.
Additional Info: Anabellee is Jamie's mother, but looks exactly like her only fairer. The cause of her youthful appearance is due to the fact that she preys on her own kind or creatures stronger than mere humans. However, because of this her venom has weakened to the point where it has no power to harm any being. Instead, she caries vials of poisons and charms with her at all times.

Some say the forests are haunted by a force greater than nature: something that deals revenge to those who deal injustice - a seemingly invisible moral element, if you will. Some say it preys on the vampire younglings and small-boned humans that wander away from thier masters. Some say that seeing a moth on your window is an omen of death. Only blackstreet scum often brave entering her abode with the intention to find her. Every proper blackmarket trader knows of her poisons and herbs. The price of exchange is small, but great in significance - a small token (something of value) and a pact.
