Sethrian wouldn't take it well if he learned that she was simply walking when it slipped from her hands. Well, it wouldn't hurt him to know and frankly, Vivian has had a lot of people hate her in her life, and she stopped caring a long time ago. She had to give him credit for being one of the few to realize that she was older than she seemed with his comment about her trying to create a growth spurt.

"Well, I'm just trying to please people by giving them the appearance they want of a potions professor. Living creatures have always been so narrow-minded." Vivian explained, too lazy mention she was cursed which would require more explaining, "As for the potion finding it's way to the floor, I was walking and it slipped from my hands and ended up on the floor. It was just a careless slip, I suppose. At least it's being cleaned up."

Vivian opened the door to her classroom."Here we are. Your journey's over."

((Lol, it's okay. Vivian's pretty bossy as well. We can't all be holding hands and singing kumbaya. xD))

Kamil Terrace

________________________

Kamil was conflicted at the moment. The kid was the potions, but his companion had just asked him a question. Which should he address first!? Kamil had to think about it calmly. If he got freaked out about the potions teacher being a kid, then she'll just get mad at him. For now, he should probably just play it cool. He turned to Sethrian.

"I-I'm from the sea. I'm a merman, so I'm still getting used to the surface. It's a really interesting place so far." he answered, "So where are you from, Sethrian?" Kamil hoped that Sethrian wouldn't make fun of him for being a merman. Many of the other surface dwellers weren't very nice about it, but Kamile thought that Sethrian seemed like an okay guy.

Kamil was glad he wasn't looking at the teacher sincce he was still having trouble thinking that she would be teaching him how to make potions. How was she older than him anyways? Or is she older than him? Is she some kind of genius?

Sethrian's face darkened into a frown at Vivian's observation about narrow mindedness. Yeah, that was something he had seen first hand. He briefly entertained the idea of asking her for a potion to change his appearance as well. Then he looked down at the potion engorged paper towels in his hand and immediately came to his senses.

Yeah, no. He would not be asking for her help.

He followed her into the class quietly as he said to Kamil, "I'm from no where special. It's the sort of place that isn't worth talking about." He looked at the other boy again, thinking that he did look like he could have come from the sea. Though that begged the question about where he'd gotten his legs. Weren't merfolk supposed to have fish tails? Though he had heard stories that some of them could turn into Humans. And thinks like how Selkies could shed their skin (though the idea of some sort of crumpled fish skin laying around, was a bit creepy. "What made you decide to come here?"

He looked at Vivian. "And where should we put these? They're growing heavier by the second, I hope you realize."

((Haha, yeah. I sometimes feel bad that he's so rude sometimes, though. But his insults can be pretty fun to write. Hehe. =3 ))

"My life is a Shakespearian tragedy"

Isamu followed Akito out into the hall. His eyes wandered as he gazed around at the posters and art. Isamu loved art, drawing and painting was one of his favorite hobbies. He hoped that the school had a theater or art class, though both would be very nice.

Akito wasn't sure about a lot of the places in the school since he himself was still memorizing the entire school. He could at least show Isamu the important places like the cafeteria and the library. He knew the location of the potions classroom as well, but Akito wasn't sure if Isamu really cared for potions or not.

"I guess I'll show you the way to the library first since all students probably want to know where that place is." Akito said as he walked through the hallways. Their footsteps echoed in the empty school and Akito, who was used to sneaking up on people during his mercenary work still couldn't get used to the noisiness of his steps.

"You're probably wondering why the school is so empty. The school is having a week's vacation for staff and students so there aren't any classes happening for the week. There are still some people wandering around for whatever reason though, but not a lot. At least it'll give you some time to get to know the school before you start classes." Akito explained. He wondered if he was talking too much for the kid.

"My life is a Shakespearian tragedy"

Isamu didn't mind listening to other people talk, he just hated having to answer. He nodded in response to Akito whenever the man asked him a question, but didn't speak much. "Will I have a roommate in my dorm?" He asked after a few minutes. It was a question that had been in his mind for a while now, and he really hoped that Akito could help him out by answering it.

Isamu nodded to indicate that he was listening. Akito assumed he wasn't annoyed at alll with his ranting. If he was, then he would say something, hopefully. "In the dorms, you get your own room, but you have to share everythign else outside the dorm with four other people. I guess it's a really nice system." Akito answered. He was actually really glad about not having to share a room with anyone. Since he was the only security guard in the school, Akito had a lot of scars all over his body and it would just make people think that he was just some kind of dangerous character. When you're a mercenary, scars are just a given.

They were approaching the library now. Akito gestured towards the library. "Well, that's the library. I dont' think we need to go in there but try to remember it's there." Akito never liked books. He could read, but he was really slow at it. He jsut had a dislike for sitting around staring at paper.

"My life is a Shakespearian tragedy"

Isamu nodded to show that he understood. Then he stood there for a moment, with a look of deep thought on his pale face, causing his scar to scrunch by his eyebrow. His English was still rather bad, even though he had been hearing it for a while. "Uh... do you like...." he thought some more, over the word that he wanted to say, then finally, "Books?" He asked, finishing the question after a few moments. He was rather embarrassed, but he was beginning to trust Akito. His trust was starting to show, because he was actually willing to speak now.

Akito tried not to flinch at the question Isamu had just ask him. Truthfully he hit a sore spot, but Akito wasn't the type to just show a weakness like that. Akito crossed his arms as they passed by the library towards the cafeteria since that was the next place he was intending to show Isamu.

"Well, I'm not much of a reader, so I don't really care much for books. I prefer to be outside, truthfully. But you know, it's not like I have anything against people who like books. I admire them really since they have the patience to deal with books and get something out of it in return." Akito glanced at Isamu. "Could it be that you like books?"

He nods and follows Akito still, "I do but... I have a hard time to..... read them by myself...." he frowns. Isamu knew that other worlds and amazing stories could be found in books, so he was sad that he couldn't read them himself. He often needed someone to read with him and explain certain words, well actually, most words for that matter. Words made Isamu's head hurt and his eyes sore. "I have a... hard time... to learn." he replied. Math was another thing that the boy had a hard time with, even though it was a universal language.

Akito laughed and ruffled the boy's hair. "Don't let it get you down. I have issues with learning too, but you're attending this school to learn right? I'm pretty sure your teachers will help you out." Getting an education is better than running around as a mercenary. If only Akito had the opportunity to attend this school when he was younger.

The cafeteria wasn't very far from the library so Akito halted in front of the cafeteria.
"Well, I think I ought to go. You need to go make some friends your age, got it? Good luck." Akito gave a friendly wave before he left.

((Well, my dad's nagging me to get off the computer, so I really have to go. xD Really lame showing around the school. Library and cafeteria. =w= I thoght I should leave your character free to go off and meet other characters.))

Margaret opened the library door and stumbled out, tripping over her own feet. She shoved her hand in her purse and pulled out a half eaten cracker, munching on it. She looked around the hallways and smiled at everyone she passed, offering a wave to anyone who smiled back. She was looking for someone approachable.. Interesting, and of different species.. She needed a friend, and someone she could study. Hopefully that wasn't too weird.

"Yeah.. You're weird."

She whispered to herself, chuckling.

”All say, ‘How hard it is that we have to die’
- A strange complaint to come

To say that Kasie was slightly lonely was an understatement. She seemed downright miserable without any company around, and man, she couldn't wait for the school year to start. The poltergeist was mindlessly occupying her time with floating. Yes. Floating. She was simply lying down in the middle of the air, hazel eyes aimed at the ceiling, while distractedly gliding down the halls.

Of course, when her view was suddenly obstructed by innards before clearing up, that was when she knew that she had just breezed through some poor person's body. Oh boy. Not only did she just interrupt their conversation, she also managed to most likely get them wet too with her phasing. Straightening up, Kasie immediately delivered her apology. "I. Am. Soooooo~. Sor-" Of course, she accidentally cut herself off when she realized that she was talking to a boy. A boy.

"........" After a moment of silence with Kasie mainly gaping in shock, there finally came the nosebleeding. Instantly, she pinched her nose to try to prevent it as much as she could, but it was too no avail. It was too much. Too. Much. Eyecandy.

"S-S-Sorry!" She squeaked out before rushing elsewhere to find a possible female companion that she could turn to. In fact, she was able to locate one right off the bat even if she was talking to herself. "Oh, hello there~! I'm Kasie. What's your name?"

From the mouths of people
Who have had to live.”

~Isamu Korino~

"My life is a Shakespearian tragedy"

Isamu couldn't help but feel a sudden urge of panic when Akito mentioned that he had to leave. He merely watched as the man strolled away. Isamu's ears drooped, he hated to be by himself (even though he didn't like to socialize) he felt as though he was being abandoned again. Like always. Obviously, Isamu had just taken it the wrong way. For every time the boy made a friend, or thought that he was going to meet a friend, the ended up leaving him. Once he snapped out of it he noticed two girls, but decided not to speak to them, besides, how could he? He was far too shy.
