"I've heard that it can be a good thing, to be horrible at lying. It means you'll never have to feel guilty I guess, because everyone will be able to pick up on it." She shrugged frowning, "Just being able to see colors this bright again is nice. " She muttered to herself, knowing that Octultus would hear the words just because of his proximity to her.
She tensed as he took off before relaxing, take off was scary for her but once the rhytmn had been found it wasn't as bad anymore. Of course she never wanted to try flying in bad weather, or when a storm was brewing. She could only imagine how badly the wind currents would be tossing about some unsuspecting flyer.
Her ears flicked in curiosity at his latest comment, "Second...star?" She asked, craning her neck to try and see what he meant, but all she could see was her own mane whipping back into her face. She couldn't turn her head far enough to see the flickering purple glow that was the signal for Tiri's home.

Octultus felt her tense and crane her neck to see. She looked at the direction they werte headed but could not see it. Luckily the skies were clear...relatively so, as they continued their flight.
"You know--to a degree I agree. But sometimes lies help to spare some mearh a lot of pain." he looked off into the purple glow and it glinted off his eyes.
"We're almost there--" he slurred squinting and keeping high towards the tower's light. He would not crash into anything in the dark which made things harder to fly. Luckily there was a hill Tiri's tower was on and no nearby trees so landing would be a piece of carrottcake.
The last few minutes of flight he could not help but wonder where she had been to take the color from her world...?
Tiri's window opened to let out some green fumes from a recent concauction. they were plenty close to see it by now and he prepared to land, allerting her it was almost time to hit the ground.
((Would you like me to RP as Tiri as well, you can bring in another person if you like ot keep it with just the three? razz ))

((You can play her! I think I'll stick to just Jadus))
"...If someone was lying to me to spare me the pain of knowing...I'd rather know than find out later. It would be a double hurt because that Mearh that lied to me would probably be a friend." She whispered, and settled down to wait out the rest of the flight.
She'd sort of dozed off when Octultus's slurred words woke her from her daze, "Nngh?" She commented intelligently, blinking into his chest. She didn't bother to look around, knowing all she'd see was sky, stars, and bits of the ground under them.
"I'm glad we're almost there. I need to...r-relieve myself." She muttered, face flushing with shame. She should have gone before they'd taken flight again but before it hadn't been a pressing issue.

Octultus let his wings set the two on the ground with a thud and a few speedy hoofprints to follow. He let her down gently and grinned. "Alright--I will go to the door and wait for you there." he spoke frankly and opened the wings which sheltered the two from the light of the tower aove. With the green smoke all but gone now he saw a face appear in the tall window above. Tiri looked down with a slight smile and a nod. Her face disappeared back into the light behind her and steps down the stairs could be heard. She was almost to the door now... Octultus waited patiently and leaned against the tower's edge.

Jadus shook out her legs once Octultus had started to walk away, and rubbed her arms as a chill settled over her. She didn't understand why she was so cold now, maybe it was because of the warmth the house seemed to promise? The Ista frowned and shook her head, no, it was probably because Octultus had let go of her and now that he wasn't there she wasn't soaking up the heat that flight produced.
She looked up as a head poked out of the window that had once been spewing green smoke. The face nodded before dissapearing and Jadus took that as her cue to be at the door before that Mearh got there. Her steps were steady as she moved to stand by her...friend? Fillyhood mate? Her precious Mearh, but her insides squirmed like a jelly she had once seen. She might not look it on the outside, but on the inside she was afraid that this Tiri would reject her, and once again she'd be alone.

Octultus looked at the mare as she approached. "Its alright--she is my friend you know..." he looked a bit uneasy but the following image of his good friend left any feelings of doubt behind. tiri was an honest person...blunt even. But never did she throw anyone out for their lacking appearance or manners. She wouldnt throw anyone out unless they threatened her or her new baby.
Tiri opened the door to see the face of her friend; Octultus. He only stopped by on his travels and holidays...but this seemed different? His eyes had a glint to them she had not seen in him before.
"Well--Come in!" she gestured with an open arm to both he and the girl She was a unicorn but very thin...frighteningly thin. The fire crackled loudly in the background. Seemed this mare had been so badly mal-nourished that the fire thought she was fuel for it!
Tiri's eyes had the tell tale-half open nature that the Ista did but she was not by other means any way Ista herself. Just regular old mearh... But those eyes; those brightly glistening eyes told Jadus she was safe; told her she was alright here. Sarathel was sleeping in the cradle high above, hung from the cieling in a circular bed which did not allow her to fall from it. The crade circled high above only available to those who knew how to get her down. The inside of the tower was a myraid of treats for the eyes. candles and book and bottles. Everything hinted at secrets and mystery. Any child would be thrilled to visit!
Octultus grabbed Jadus' hand iwhtout thinking and lead her inside smiling at Tiri the way in. "You know--" he gestured to her large base floor,"--we could use a place to stay until she gets...better?" he asked with his best 'look-at-me-i'm-adorable' face.
Tiri rolled her eyes.
"Take the store room then--there is a few blankets there and its warm." she gestured to the door far to her left as she put out the majority of the candles on her way up stairs into her room.

"I'm a mess I don't...want to drag my dirt through your house." Jadus pipped up, eyes lowered as she hunched in on herself. She'd dared to meet this Mare's eyes and what she'd seen in them told her that she wasn't like the Mares she'd met before, but...subservience was ingrained in her now. When she was alone with Octultus she'd felt...strange. Like she'd been before being sold into slavery, but at the same time not the young bossy Filly she'd once been.
She bit her lip as Octultus dragged her in, and winced as her mud caked hooves settled inside the house. She didn't take offense when it was implied that she was sick, she knew that she looked horrible, so thin you could count her ribs and trace the contours of her hips and the dips in her spine. "M-Mistress, may I have some water to wash up with first?" She called out, voice hesitant and low, mindful of the crib high above.

Tiri's door had almost shut high above before she heard the young mare's question. It hurt her heart to look at her...Tiri was not some harsh hag with a needy-salvation complex but rather...saw herself in the young one. Nowhere to go. No home to run to and only that lug Octultus to lean on...She took pity on the girl.
"Of course. Octultus, help her out will you? I need my rest." She gestured half-heartedly. She did not let her face be seen in the tower's last lit lights because it would reveal the sadness in her eyes despite her otherwise smooth and somehow commanding voice.
Just as she shut the door she spoke again. "My name Is Tiri'Ithil. Do well to call me that and nothing else," she hushedly shut the door and the cradlwe above began moving once again as it had paused somehow, at her words.
Octultus saw her cow down to Tiri...who was only mildly intimidating and only recently because she now had child to protect! Sarathel and her brother who was away with the father he suspected... Thoughts of their family tree ran quietly through his head like a fo rolling out in morning meadows. The dew of Octultus' thoughts dried quicker though and let him back to the current situation; Her.
"Its alright--she doesnt mind. She needed me to help do chores anyways," Octultus joked.
There was an indoor bath. It had recently been expanded to underground rather than her chambers up the stairs on account fo the child. She did not want Sarathel to find her way into a tub and drown. The door was almost warm to the touch. The hot spring below her tower was heating the water always and it kept a comfortable warmth at all days in the year.
"Follow me--The bath is this way," he gestured to the now open door and stairs leading down in a tight spiral with enough room to get the two-mearh tub down and not much else. "I am sure there is towels down there. If not I cna find some..." he trailed off walking down the stairs and talking. He appreciated this seperate bath and was all manner of pleased when he found out Tiri had it renovated over the winter months. Tiri did like her hot baths...
He waited at the bottom of the stairs.

(( D: Sorry I haven't replied before now! I've been popping on on my phone to check the threads but I haven't had time to actually RP))
"With a child to mind I expect her to need help doing chores," Jadus commented softly, rebuking his joke a few moments after he'd said it.
She brushed tangled, filthy hair from her eyes as she followed her friend to the bath, almost moaning with pleasure at the sight of the hot spring when she saw it. It made up for the stairs she'd had to traverse to get there, not that the flight was long, just that the thought of soaking in the hot waters was reward enough for having to travel to it.
She brushed passed Octultus without a second thought, stripping off her flimsy excuse of a shirt in the same motion. A few brief moments of poking around found her items to wash with, which she did, not even caring that she was doing this with her friend probably still watching her. The promise of being clean was too great a temptation for her than being emaciated eye candy.

Despite her sour look she sensed when Jadus spoke of Tiri...He couldnt help but feel a bit conflicted. He hoped the two would get along.
With Tiri and the baby alseep he was able to close the steamy door and go back down the stairs. When he turned around he saw her relaxing in the large tub one of three in the spring under the tower.
"Oh--I'm sorry," he blushed a little, turning around and his arms crossed holding the towel he waited for her approval. Leaving the door open would wake the baby with the noise of the water running.
"Are you sure you're okay wiht being here? You...seem upset." he said, talking over his shoulder at her while playing with the towel in his hands.

"Not upset just...conflicted and off balance." Jadus replied, voice still soft yet easily heard over the running water. She ran a hand over one leg, watching as her colors lightened to something she rarely saw, her own unique markings. Jadus giggled to herself as she traced one of the bubble like marks on her leg. As she cleaned more and more of her body she realized that Octultus might not be as comfortable with her nudity as she was.
"Oh! It's fine Octultus, you can come and bathe too if you'd like, it really doesn't bother me. Having twenty slaves crammed together in one small bathing chamber with a time limit rids you of any form of body shyness." She said, and splashed a little water in his direction. "But if it does bother you that much you can go, I wont be offended, otherwise come here and wash my back for me please?"

((Here is an update of the size/s of the floors a quick blueprint to get a better idea ^^ )) Octultus held the towel tightly as she offered his help for him. Her back's slender lines went into the water...once she got a bit more meat on her bones she would be downright gorgeous! He felt her turn to look at him but he looked down; allowing her dignity to remain in tact. "I can do that." he spoke calmly. Calus hands reached for the sponge and dipped it int he warm water; he cleaned her fur of various dirt and debris. Once he thought it was blood...which it could ahve been...He did not want to ask. "I will join if you want." he offered; not sure if she wanted time alone and was simply being kind for kindness' sake.

She sighed in pleasure as she felt the sponge scrape across her back, gentle and firm and quite hesitant. She knew he was probably afraid of hurting her, that he'd seen the blood matted into her fur that she just couldn't reach to get rid of, but he never commented on it. Jadus considered herself lucky that she never scarred or her friend would have flipped in righteous fury. Just because she was- had been, a valuable slave didn't mean they went too easy on her.
She ran wet fingers through her hair, trying to tease the easiest of tangles out to no effect. She hoped that she didn't need to chop the entire mess off, but she would if needed.
"Please? I've had a lifetimes worth of solitude in that place, so even if we don't talk, just having you here and willing is enough." She plead, turning around abruptly to hug him. "There would always be bodies but they held no spark, no hope, despite the fact that they were alive they didn't live. You feel alive and whole to all of my senses and it...it makes me feel safe."
