I was 12... reading some YGO fanfiction, came across some Seto x Joey lime... I was confused at first cause I... "liked" it, but ya know, I was 12... then I started reading it in secret and grew to love it

My first reaction when I saw two guys getting on was like eek WTF?! This is disgusting!! But soon, I started reading some shounen-ai fanfictions (Ryou/Bakura and Seto/Jou) and got the hang out of it. It freaks me out sometimes though. eek

When I first got into anime, I was 11 and the only one I'd seen was Yu-Gi-Oh (I live in a depressingly deprived area). I started to read fanfiction on it, but I didn't know what things like yaoi, lime, YYxY and other such things meant. I stumbled across as fic that had a good plot, and then there was YYxY kissing and stuff. I was kind of shocked for a second, but once my brain processed it I went 'hey, this is really cute'. I was like this: eek neutral whee heart
It all progressed from there. I started out soft shounen ai, but by the time I was 12 and a half I was into heavy lemons, hardcore stuff. I owe a lot to DarksLight for helping me get anime and manga to feed the growth of my obsession. 3nodding

Actually, I'd started slashing characters on my own even before I found out that something like slash and yaoi officially existed. It was just a subconscious feeling - hm, they are compatible, aren't they? After discovering slash fiction pairing up characters of the same gender quickly turned into a habit of mine.

It started with the web-comic AngelReaper, (READ IT!!! It's good, and two of the main character's are gay, well one's bi, but anyways) the comic was good and funny. So I was like... "eh, whatever, it's okay just this once" than I found some "other" site links there, and some of them were yaoi, and I was like, "wtf is that??" so, like a stupid kid that I was. I clicked some of them. The first few were just light stuff.
Than one of them had some heavy yaoi. At first I was like... "well... not coming here again." than a few days later went back on and saw one of the sex scenes and was, "o.o wow, hot."
And been hooked since '03!

I first got into yaoi and shounen-ai when i was about 11 (i was very preverted and still am) i remember reading fanfiction and was like...guys screwing eachother..... confused smile biggrin 3nodding whee heart and then i searched for pictures and other stuff...granted i kept it in the closet for about 2 years but now all my friends are like.... whee heart whee heart too

yaoi fan since 03 Yay! I was 13 and also very preverted, too. Strange.... and of course, I still am, too. I tried to get my friends into yaoi, but most of them are like, "eww, yuck" which why I'm not friends with them anymore.

First time I came across it I was like... "Whoa... what?!" It was a long fan fic... Gundam Wing. HeeroxDuo. Don't remember which it was. I had spent so much time reading it I decided to finish it. The yaoiness threw me but didn't bother me and by the end of it I was "whoa... that's hot" been reading it ever since.
