I am currently with a research group working with computer vision. Right now I am working with an expectation maximization(clustering) algorithm.

I have just finished a Web based application that allows users to search and view a list of laptops, pda, and inventory items. Now I am working on an application for the supervisors to monitor their employees internet history remotely.

I'm currently working on an intranet web app that gives users access based on their department id# and that feeds from an HR view.
It shows all of the application meta data for a large state agency, about 400 applications. In addition, it has pages that show mainframe files and data objects, the related field details, layout details, and a place for notes. There is a page where the user can choose a data model to view for each relational file.
There is a page for abbreviations and a glossary. The users can print any of the displayed data to a word doc or to an excel doc. It takes the data, and opens the application, placing the data into the document so all the user has to do is save the doc.
I'm using vb.net, and Ajax add-on for vb.net. My environment is Visual Studio 2005 and the app hooks into SqlServer databases. I have a couple of css style sheets; one for the basic layout and one to format a printer friendly version of each page.
I'm about 75% done, plans are to have it in system test within the next month.
A related side project I am working on is to update the vb programs that take data from a mainframe and parses it into the databases. It was written about six years ago, and I plan to add some more sophisticated error handling. Right now it just tells us it failed, and we have to figure out why. This has to be done before implementation.
