Elendil was surprised that they used there last names. His family didn't do that kind of thing because it was like setting themselves away from there people. Having no name was like being a poor man on the streets. "My Uncle-Father is Lord the of Western Woods. We do not call him a king, but he acts like so." The boy explained what his people called their leader. The boy pulled out a weird fruit from his pail and started to snack on it.

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu."

Listening to Abbadon speak, Lyndis was already able to form an opinion of this prince, which was one of annoyance. Most royalty she'd met were sweet, and hardly ever demanded titles. Frowning, she was about to say such when Yvette spoke. Eyes widening in alarm at the prospect of dating a boy, she shook her head, quickly swallowing her food to speak. "Ew! Boys are gross." It wasn't that marriage seemed so terrible, but holding hands did. Realizing that a boy was sitting with them made her speak again, "No offense Donny." She smiled, wishing that she hadn't just finished her lunch; food always made a good peace offering.

Donny laughed at her reaction. It was priceless to him. He was so glad that he wasn't royal. He didn't have to get married to please the people of a kingdom. He could just live out his days as a bachelor. "No taken." The boy answered to his friend as Yvette gave an evil smile. "But Lyn. You know one day you'll meet a boy that you can't stop thinking about." The girl commented as she pulled out a 'Junior Witch' and 'Little Monster' gossip magazines. They were full of pictures of models like her and famous boys who one day would become the hottest bachelors.

Amira Josephine Windstorm, Third Daughter of the Basileus

Uncle-Father was an odd term, but Amira chose not to comment on that. She didn't really like talking politics, it had been one subject her siblings had warned her away from, and it tended to be so boring. The princess could see her brother staring at the strange fruit, as if studying it; he was probably comparing it to the pear she had just made him eat. "What kind of fruit is that?" she asked, hoping to divert the subject away from politics. Maybe they could talk about food instead. Food was delicious, and the young princess was a fan of all the fruits she knew of. Her brother was a different story, the pickiest in the family; he only liked sweet things and hamburgers, though agreed to eat anything his idolized oldest sister placed in front of him. Ciarin said it was only because he was young, but Amira was positive that she hadn't been so picky at that age."If you don't mind my asking, of course." she added quickly, not wanting to be taken as rude. It seemed an innocent enough question, but that didn't mean the boy would take it as such.

Elendil stopped eating his fruit when she asked the question. He supposed that there was nothing in the human or normal monster world like his fruit. "It's a moon fruit." He answered her before pulling it away and pulled the end part off. He then handed it to her to try. He found it sweet like an orange or a strawberry mixed together. "Please try. I'm sure you'll like it." He added.

Accepting the fruit, she quietly offered to share with Orion; the boy politely declined, though she supposed it was a miracle he was actually eating his carrots. Taking a bite of the piece he had offered her, she was surprisingly delighted at he taste of it. Chewing and swallowing the bit in her mouth, she smiled brightly at the prince. "This is really good. We don't have things like this in the capital." she told him, turning the rest of it over in her hand as if inspecting it before finishing the last of it. "Thanks for sharing with me." it was only polite to thank him for such, and she glanced at her basically empty lunch pail in the hopes of something to offer in return. "Want some carrots?" she offered, which was all she had left. Carrots were good, and maybe they would be sufficient for the day.

Orion sat quietly beside his sister, doing his best not to stare at the boy. He didn't want to try the strange fruit, though this would probably change had it been a different sister offering. Continuing to crunch on his carrots, his head turned as he heard a rather loud objection relating to the subject of boys; he wasn't the type to eavesdrop on purpose, so his attention shifted elsewhere once more. A light breeze picked up, ruffling his hair and tugging at Amira's hairbow. A small smile appeared on his lips, obviously enjoying the light breeze.

Elendil had never tried this edible object called a carrot. He wondered what it tasted like. "Yes I would." He answered. He was curious and it showed on his face that he had never tried a carrot that most people had in their lunch boxes. It was just proof that he was just from another world at times. "I haven't tried a lot of foods that normal people eat. Even when I visit my half-breed sister she still cooks Elvish dishes." The boy added. He now wanted to try much more food that is out there. He wanted to try all these foods that he had read about in books and seen in movies or on TV. "If you bring me something new to try everyday I'll bring you more Elvish food, and once we go through that I'll start bring Fairy food."

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu."

Relieved that she hadn't hurt a friend's feelings, she kept her upbeat expression. It seemed to her that he'd understood her point, despite Yvette's own opinion. "If I do, you'll be the first to know. Until then, I still say 'Ew'!" Still, she caved in when the magazines were pulled out, having always loved seeing how confident the models looked; though she didn't think the boys were any cuter than the girls. They were just pretty. Moving close enough to glanced over her shoulder, Lyndis pointed at a tiara on one girl's head. "Do you have one Vetty?" she questioned, having been told a couple of weeks prior about her friend's lineage.

Yvette looked at the other princess then at the tiara that she pointed out. Yvette looked over it. "No. My daddy didn't give me one." She answered. Her voice was a little hurt by her father's actions. She was a princess only in name, She really didn't have a title because she was the half-breed child who was just a figure head until her father had a son. "Excuse me." The girl said before walking away. It looked like see was near tears.

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu."

Hearing the answer made her nod in understanding. She didn't have one either, being a rather distant princess. When she looked up from the page, she noticed Yvette's expression as she turned. Turning to Donny, she asked, "What I'd do?" She'd managed not to affend one friend, only to hurt another's. Closing both magazines, she set them down carefully before standing. Though Yvette was upset, it wouldn't do to let her items be ruined by dirt. Running to catch up, she touched the girl's arm lightly as she spoke. "Vetty, please don't be upset. I don't have a princess crown either."

Donny looked at her and shrugged he didn't know what she had done. He didn't even bother following. He didn't want to deal with all those weird emotions that girl had. He watched as his friends walk away. He didn't follow. Yvette burst out in tears. "Yes, but you're a minor princess. You're cousins are closer to becoming the rulers before." All in all Lyndis had four people ahead of her and she may easily not become a queen. "I'm next in line." The brown haired beauty responded. Until her father had a child she was next in line.

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu."

Unable to protest Yvette's words, Lyndis remained silent until she finished speaking. It was true that she would prbably never be queen, so she'd never worried about being royalty. Yet, it seemed that her friend did worry about what she was, and was upset because of it. Moving to hug her friend, she wished more than ever that she had some sort of magical ability like her mother; perhaps then she would will away her friend's tears. "I'm sorry, Vetty." she said quietly, meaning to apologize for whatever she had said that upset her friend. "Just ask your dad for one. He probably forgot 'cause your mom was so upset." She recalled the story that Yvette had told her, which included her mother yelling at her father about the press and situation.

Those last words didn't help her at all when it came to her feelings. "My parents refuse to look at each other, Mama says that daddy does whatever he wants anyways. So why didn't he get me a tiara?" The girl said crying harder and harder. She didn't understand why her father hadn't gotten her a crown of any kind.

Picking up the small baggy of carrots, she extended her hand to offer it to him. She was a little surprised that he had never had carrots before, but she didn't say such. She nodded in understanding as he explained, as it certainly made a bit of sense. At the proposition, she nodded eagerly. "My big brother Icarus is a good cook, and he used to travel some with my big sister, so I can bring things from all over the world too." she told him, excited to try more Elvish food. She liked food and trying new things, and so was very much looking forward to this trade. "If there's anything specific you want to try, you should just let me know." she nodded, clearly sincere about this. Rina or Icarus had agreed to arrange their lunches every day, though she wondered on the days that her siblings' friend would be arranging for their food. Mihael was a notoriously weird eater, and the young princess worried sometimes.

Looking up at the sound of crying being carried by the wind, it seemed his sister was a little preoccupied with her new friend to hear. He stood, brushing his pants off before glancing in the direction of the sobbing.
"Please excuse me for a bit..." he looked at his sister's new friend, trying his best at a smile, before moving off into the trees with a small baggy of grapes in one hand. Peaking around a tree, he came upon the scene of two girls; one was crying hysterically and the other looked a bit upset as well though was trying hard to reassure her friend.

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu."

Still frowning, Lyndis continued to speak, though she wasn't sure of what to say at all. "Please don't cry. I'm sure both your parents love you, or you wouldn't be born. My mommy says babies come from love, you know? And he might be buying one. Maybe he's waiting for your birthday?" She paused her rambling to take a breath, sparing a glance towards Donny and Wyn. The two seemed content to stay where they were, so she turned back to Yvette, still wanting her to feel better. She opened her mouth to speak, but the words she'd intended to say were replaced with new ones at the sight of another boy. It was clear that he could see them clearly, and she didn't much like the idea of someone spying on them. "Excuse me! You know, it's rude to sneak up on people." She placed her hand firmly on her hips, though she didn't move from Yvette's side. Instead, she remained where she was, either waiting for the boy to respond or for him to walk away.
