The dance floor was starting to get warm.
"I'm going to go get us some water!" Nialla yelled to Alyssa. She walked towards the bar and stood patiently, waiting for the bartender to come and serve her. Several individuals were sitting at the bar including the boy who had burst into the back room. He still seemed a bit on edge. Nialla gave him a small, acknowledging smile.

Matt glanced at the girl, aknowedging(sp?) her smile. Feeling embarassed again, he picked up his drink and went to one of the sofas near the back of the club.
He was getting desperate. He needed to find a 'tour-guide' for this world. It was so different than the wizzarding world.
In an episode of desperation he tried to throw his thoughts to the girl he had interupted. Listen, I know you're mad at me. I dont blame you. It was my fault. I need some help. Im not from around here. Please. Trust me...I wouldnt be asking you if I didnt REALY need someone to help me.

"Oi anybody" Nialla heard a girl nearby say to herself. She gave the girl a curious glance.
Meanwhile the boy had acknowledged her presence and then had made an uncomfortable escape. what a strange person Nialla thought.
The bartender handed her the pair of waters she had ordered. Nialla smiled at the girl at the bar and then left to find Alyssa.

Alyssa saw Nialla with the drinks and went over to meet her. "Thanks." She took the drink and took a swallow.
She looked over at the strange boy with a skeptical mind. She didnt know whether or not he was serious, but she thought it was worth a try. "Hey Nialla, you said you were new right? Well, it seems the dumb but over there is too. Why dont I take you two on a spin around the town. My car's out back.
She motioned for the two to follow her and headed towards the back door, but she was horror stuck when she saw what was going on outside. A demon was draining the life out of some defenseless girl.
"Ok, Matt. You wanted your demon. There it is. Have at it." She ran to the side and focused on the demon's mind.
He grabbed his head in pain, but was able to concentrate enough to send a fire ball towards her. She tried focusing the demon's power back at him, but was unable to due to her lock on his mind. She motioned for Matt and Nialla to attack.

"You have got to be kidding me!" Nialla said quietly to herself. Her family would just love to know that their daughter had no sooner arrived in this new city and already she was getting "training."
Nialla reached down and grabbed the stick that was tied to her waist. She raised her arm as if she was going to hit someone. As she did so, her eyes became a green so dark they were nearly black. As she brought her arm down in a striking motion, a long, thorn-covered vine extended outwards and slashed the demon across the face. With a quick swing of her arm, Nialla swung her whip in a circle and struck the demon again on the back. The demon howled in frustration and forgetting about the girl, began to move towards the group.
Nialla stood tall with her whip at the ready. "Those who attack the innocent, attack what my coven stands for," she said in a serious tone that would make her mother proud.
Then Nialla's eyes suddenly turned soft pink as she reached into her pocket and transformed several seeds into little flowers which she flung into the demon's face.
"Besides wouldn't you rather do something more sweet and relaxinf like take up gardening?" Nialla said her natural lighter tone. It seemed like a pointless move, but her sudden change in attack had made the demon pause for a moment.

Jen walked in the front door, and sat down at an empty table. I really shouldn't be here. She thought, looking up at the band, and ordering a coke. She got the coke, and sat fiddling with the straw, thinking about the funeral, she was at earlier that morning. A few of them had powers, but most of them were potential innocents, and everyone was so friendly. She thought, sitting alone.

Matt saw the fire ball heading towards Alyssa and tk'd it towards the wall. Seeing that Nialla was fighting off the demon he shouted over to her, "Nice work Nialla!" He ran in front of Alyssa to protect her from any more attacks.
Seeing a piece of metal plumbing on the ground he tk'd it towards the demon.
((You can let this vanquish it, or if someone else would like to do it go ahead.))

Dancer heard a bunch of noises and ran out back. "What the heck?" she thought as she saw a bunch of people fighting a demon. SHe saw a boy throw a pipe at it but that only gave it a weapon. She threw out her arms and a fireball destroyed the demon.

A little stunned, and afraid, Matt stood back with his power ready, just in case this was a demon. She didnt look like a demon, but seemed to have demonic powers.

In one quick motion, Nialla spun around and flung her whip so it snapped warningly just in front of the girl's face before returning to Nialla's side.
"Look, I really didn't come here for a series of vanquishes," she told the girl who had flung the demonic-looking fire ball, "There are no innocent mortals around here and I'm sure you don't need us to help you blow up more rival demons. Let's call it a night, eh?"

Jen walked out the back door, to get some air. She was hot, because the club was packed, and she was sick. Great, she thought sarcastically. A demon vanquish. Just when I thought I didn't need magic. She though frusturated.

Alyssa rolled her eyes. "Not again," she mumbled. "You have GOT to stop jumping to conclusions. First me and now.....Dancer....wait, thats your name? Dancer? Hmm. Anyways she is not a demon." She turned to Dancer "Nice work by the way."
Noticing yet another girl comming out, "Great. More witches. Why does it always seem like everything magical always seems to draw themselves to each other. urg..."
