 Nichole sighed, "Yeah, I suppose even scum have family to visit this time of year." She shook her head, "I'm sure we'll be busy again before we know it." Nichole looked behind her to see Selina, Kit and Alex all talking together. What? Were they all going to watch Its A Wonderful Life next? She never could get passed the title.

Alex had a surprised look on his face when he heard his mother's voice, he then let out a sigh as he faced her. "Well I would have to say you are well pass 60 by now... its time to hire a live in nurse for you and dad." Alex said jokingly to his mother. "Also it would not be in the batmobile.... I have a much better place in mind, and of course not around Haley... that is why i spent time sound proofing my room." He said with a grin on his face. "And will you knock it off... I'm not some kid anymore." He told her before whispering to Nickie. "We can talk about that later."
As Alex listened to the two talk and compliment each other he then noticed Max and Haley on the stairs and he raised one eyebrow as he watched Max. He knew that he was up to something, so Alex would put an end to it for now.
A green hand would grab Max and bring him over to them. "Hello Max, up to no good as always I see." Alex said to him.

Kit didn't understand what was going on but she just sighed and looked between Max and her husband. "How do I keep up with such a family?" she said chuckling some.

    Haley was about to protest lightly against Max's mischievous behavior... that was, before their Uncle Alex caught him. She giggled just a little and skipped after Max, meeting up with Kit first to give her a welcoming hug.
"Merry Christmas, Auntie Kit~"
Haley mused and smiled to her happily.

Conner looked, listen, and nodded. Noticing Max, he just acted as if he was any other person. Though it seemed Alex was being the life of the party.

The boy was caught by surprised by the green construct.Twitching his eyebrow, Max veins popped out of his neck. "You! No good. Dirty. Abusing Power- You know what. I'm just not going to give you your gift."Max glared. Grumbling under his breath, he waited to be put down. Max then did something quite odd, he whistled. Turning his head, he waited. Though his brow furrowed as something appeared to be off to him.

Selina sighed and rolled her eyes dramatically, "I'm 51, Lexie." She winked at Kit, "Not that I ever act my age of course. Mentally I'm still 25." Selina smiled at her granddaughter, she couldn't believe how big she was now. "Well, until Haley comes bouncing along like the fountain of youth. Dear, why must you make me feel so old?" she asked jokingly. Nichole shrugged uncomfortabley, taking her cue from Alex to stop talking. She turned and raised her eyebrows as Max whistled, a look of surprise on her face. Biting her lip, she wondered where Bruce and d**k were. She knew Bruce wouldn't ditch the party, but d**k might. What if he was out on patrol? What if he hadn't bothered to com her?

Haley giggled more and hugged her grandmother after the comment.
"Hi Grandma~"
She stood back and swayed around her sleeves, flaunting just a little the violet dress shirt she wore, smiling at both her grandmother and her aunt.

Alex looked at Max. "Hmmm... is that so." He said, his eyes then seemed to spark with fire and the construct begun to shake Max lightly. "I guess i will not discuss the flaws of your new bike design then." He told Max before shaking him a little faster, Alex eyes then laid on Haley and a smile pop a cross his face. Alex then walked over to her and hugged her lightly. "Mother is right you have grown quite a bit kiddo." He said before picking her up like he would do when she was younger. "But you are still as light as a feather.... how do you do it?" He said with a smile on his face then he broke his construct and dropped Max. "Nickie stop dragging you feet and get over here, you to Conner." Alex yelled as he called out to the two.

Haley started to speak during a shared hug with her uncle.
"Hi Uncle Al--ex?"
She squeaked a bit in surprise as he picked her up.
"I'm twelve-"
Haley blinked, a bit confused as to Alex's decision in picking her up in such a fashion when she was as 'old' as she was. She then proceeded to ruff at his hair with a growing smirk on her face.

Sighing, Nichole walked over to her brother. How nice it must be, she thought, to have your crime fighting gear on at all times, and be able to show off with it when you like. She knew if she tried something like that she'd be criticised. She couldn't really blame them though. Alex had been with them sense birth. He'd been chosen to become the next Dark Knight of Gotham. He was the absolute favorite of the family.

"Finnnne." Max grumbled. Dropping to the ground, the eighteen year went searching around the manor for whatever he doing.
Scratching the back of his head nervously, he gave a sheepish grin. Walking over, he had heard Nickie's every thought, but he acted as if he didn't.

Yes thats right you are twelve now....... You have grown so much and i just can't help myself at times." He said while setting her down with a smile on his face. Alex then looked at Nickie, he could tell that she was thinking about something. "Well I will be borrowing Nickie for a little bit." He said while beginning to fly, he then shot pass everyone and picked Nickie up while he was in the air and he flew up stairs. Alex then took her to his room and closed the door, he press a button and the room locked up with shutters and all. "So whats on your mind sis?" He asked her.

Nichole looked at Alex like she wanted to bite his head off. "Its none of your buisness Alex. Its certainly not worth the Goverment security procautions," she said, gesturing to the lock down the room had just gone through. "And I can walk, by the way. Or are you so used to sweeping damsel's in distress off their feet you forget?"

Haley puffed her bottom lip as she watched Alex leave. She glanced to her grandmother.
"Show off-"
She thumbed in the direction that Uncle Alex had left.
