 The tikbalang's eyes widened as Needle nearly struck another student. He winced but gave an appreciative chuckle at the amount of strength the engraver had in that strike. Having spikes embedded in one's arm also helped in dealing damage. He should know. He's felt those spikes personally and had the scars to prove it.
"Careful, all'v y'!" he called out as he lashed out with a strike of his own at the pudding creature. His fist bounced against its surface, having little effect much to Petro's embarrassment.

"Your sister?" Astra repeated, sounding a little surprised. She had not realized Lattice had a sister, one which look almost exactly like her. But now that she looked at the ghoul, she could see a few things that were different about her. "Ah! I'm sorry Needle, I didn't mean to confuse you with your sister" She said, then heard Petro's warning as the pudding released even more monsters. Dodging out of the way with ease, she noted that Petro seemed rather annoyed by the presence of Charlie, but she couldn't make out why. She would have to figure it out later, as she went to attack the monster blob once again. My HP: 40 Damage Dealt: 4 Collective Damage to Boss: 10 Anything attacked/attackers should note:

"Oh no, Please! I am touched you mistook me for Lattice, she is so wonderful~!" Needle sighed almost dreamily, tilting her pale cheek into an ink stained hand. The Engraver loved her sister, yes she did! Lattice, your sister is so proud of you! Making all these friends!
"And if I do not?" The ghoul asked Petro cheekily, flashing a smile at her friend. She was completely unaware that the noise had come from a student (sorry Savior!), just like she still wasn't sure of just what it is that they were fighting. Behind her mask her eyes were squinting, and she soon lashed out once more, dragging her arm across the gelatinous mass of...whatever it was.
When she was done, she stepped back quickly, staring down at her pudding-dripping left arm. "What...is this? This place smells..." She trailed off, unable to describe it. Never having been to Christmas she had never known what Joy smelt like, and this festive aroma was...unnatural and alarming.My HP: 30 Damage Dealt: 3 Collective Damage to Boss: 13 Anything attacked/attackers should note:

The tikbalang let out an unamused snort at Needle's teasing but said little else. "If y' don't be careful, someone 's gonna get hurt," who exactly he was talking about was anybody's guess. "'S just like that trip to Christmas Town. We gotta be careful, there might be Chuck-in-the-Boxes lurking. Or worse... drunk trees..." Petro barely managed to suppress a shudder at the memory. Had it really only been a year since he had his first encounter with Amityville? So much had happened since that train ride...

It would seem that the demon was not the only one to make this mistake. Astra also mistook Needle for Lattice. That didn't make Charlie feel any less embarrassed though. Petro's anger ques were not unnoticed. The balling of the horse boils hands in to fists was a loud hint that even Charlie took a note of. Right now wasn't the time to play around with a horse boil any ways. There was still an enemy to be fought after all. And right now things were emerging from it. The demon lunged forward, head down and horns forward, popping something completely hard. There was a little bit of a recoil causing Charlie to fall backwards and lay on the ground. My HP: 40/40 Damage Dealt: 7 Collective Damage to Boss: 20 Anything attacked/attackers should note: Charlie is laying on the floor ; D That was a hard hit to the head so careful where you step. Sura watched as the other students attacked the..thing... regarding it with a sort of curiosity. She didn't have the experience of Christmas Town that some of these students had gotten to roll with, so mostly it was a game of her wondering if she could eat the damn thing.
Her first reaction, upon approaching it, was that it was hard to try and fit the giant chocolate-y pudding creature in her mouth. So actually taking a bite out of it was going to take some time.
Hmmmmm....

He was being picked up. At first the demon thought it might be Tro again but he was deadly mistaken. Chocolate engulfed his mid section a little to tight. The demon wheezed as it felt like his lungs were about to jump out his mouth. And then he bit the hugging pudding arms hard. More like chomped. And then he did it again and again and again. The demon ate at the pudding until he was free falling to the floor. This time, Charlie landed on his feet though. He dramatically wiped the chocolate away from his face. Charlie - chocolate warrior apparently. My HP: 38/40 Damage Dealt: 8 Collective Damage to Boss: 28 Currently: Chocolate warrior

Well, at least Needle seemed happy about the miscalculation. But just hearing the ghoul speak, she was very much reminded of Lattice. "I'll be careful" She said in response to Tro, though wasn't sure if she could remember facing any drunk trees back in Christmas town. Suddenly, Charlie had charged forward, and by the looks of things, knocked himself unconscious. "Watch out Charlie!" She called as the pudding began to hug him. She flew around to see if she could try free him, but the boil was able to eat himself out of it's grasp. "Ya stupid...blob..pudding!" She said, the leaves she threw at it resembling shurikens as they spun. ...Which is why they missed their target completely, and ended up stuck somewhere on the roof. Throughout the battle, Petro noticed one thing: Trying to eat the creature was far more effective than waling on it. Especially after watching Charlie take several bites to free himself from the chocolatey hug. "Hate to say this, but 'm thinking Charlie's way'v fighting this thing 's pretty good." He cringed to Needle. The Engraver might remember that Tro wasn't fond of sweets.
But he had to swallow his pride and his distaste if he was to be of any use during this battle. And so, steeling himself, he dashed forward, plunged his hands into the pudding, and pulled out handfuls and shoved them into his mouth. Urgh, candlejacking sweets...

The pudding thing was still going, so Savior kept kicking it at now and then too. It looked like others were joining in the fun party. Was there a point behind kicking it all?

The Cerberus wasn't even kind of good at fighting, and fighting while still in Savior's arms was more than a little awkward, but it made him feel like a complete badass from an action movie. This was super excellent teamwork at its finest, that was for sure!
"You taught me well!" he said, laughing in excitement at their new battle strategy. Really, none of this was very funny. The pudding thing kept spawning other things that were running off to who knew where, but the Puppy-Marrowstripe team was making the best of things.
"Should someone find out where those whatevers are going?" he mused aloud, watching the latest wave march with intent out of the cafeteria. "Or maybe the other students will take care of them..."
There was something heavily relaxing about beating up the puddingy twin of Mr. Blobby.

Watching Tro fight the pudding by eating it, Astra followed suit with her own attack. Plunging her hands into the soft squishy food stuff, she pulled out a small portion and shoved it in her mouth. "Hmm..." She chewed, then swallowed. "It tastes alright, I guess". She considered herself a fan of sweet, however the pudding tasted a bit too...christmasy?
