Hitomi rounded the corner of the street, she didn't really live all that far away from the fountain so it was a fairly short walk home. Not that she especially wanted this day to end already. But she couldn't change the fact that she lived so close. The conversation that she was carrying on however was cut off the moment her house came into view and the lights were very clearly on. She had not left the lights on and she quickly jumped to the conclusion that she was being robbed. "The lights are on in my house...? I didn't leave them on...Is someone robbing my house!?!?!?" She made hand signs, clearly not wanting to ******** around here and activated her dojutsu to get a better look at what was going on inside. A slight smile spreading across her lips as she face palmed. "Nope...I'm not being robbed. It's possibly worse then that." She couldn't believe that they had chosen now of all times to come and visit.

She deactivated her Byakugan as the door creaked open and a shock of white hair just like her own peaked around to reveal her mothers face. "...Hitomi?" Hitomi blinked a few times, scratching the back of her head nervously. "Hi mom." Her mother then flew the door open, charging out towards her daughter. "My babyyyyyy!" She grabbed a hold of Hitomi, lifting her from the floor in a giant crushing bear hug, tears and all. She was obviously an emotional woman when it came to her children. Her father too then appeared from the door and walked over to the group. Being a Hyuga he was much more reserved, although it he was obvious he was happy to see her too. He eyed Deidrith, almost suspiciously at first. More so because he was trying to figure out who exactly he was before he spoke, offering the large man a slight smile. "Please don't mind my wife. She just gets emotional like this from time to time. If you don't mind me asking...Who are you?" Obviously as a father he was just being protective of his child. Hitomi eventually managed to break free of her mothers kung-fu grip.

Pulling them both into a hug, one either side of her as she thought how to word it. "Mom, dad. This is Deidrith. He's my...Boyfriend?" She looked up at him. It was more of a question then a statement. At least it should be obvious to him that it was. She hadn't actually had time yet to clarify exactly what all of this made them. So it was her way of showing him that she considered him such. An ever so slight blush creeping it's way across her pale face once more. "Boy...Friend?" Her father mumbled. More out of surprise seeing as she had never had one before. But it was something that he would get used to of course. Hitomi's mother deciding that she had better cut the awkward silence by smiling up at the large man. Neither had any real issues with him. After all, if he was good enough for her daughter, then he was good enough for them too. "Why don't we all go inside? Then you can tell us all about yourself." She then dragged both her husband and Hitomi inside. With Hitomi looking back and mouthing the words "I'm sorry" to him. More for the fact that she had dragged him into such an awkward situation so soon more then anything.

Hitomi was dragged inside by her mother, in that motherly protective way that mothers tended to do. They did the whole family talking thing. "My how you've gown" and all of that. But they kept it short considering they had a guest here too. This was a first for all of them, so they weren't exactly sure how to deal with it. Hitomi's father leaned up against the wall in the hallway while her mother dragged her off into the kitchen for the mandatory girly chats about whatever. There was a silence for a few moments as her father eyed him. He noticed the horns quickly, his analytically charged mind quickly deducing that he was, in fact, of the Oni clan. Having fought someone of that clan during his many years of traveling during his youth he knew about their clan well. And then he finally broke the silence. "So. While this might sound horribly cliche, I'll ask you anyway. What are your intentions with my daughter?"

Hitomi's father raised a single eyebrow in confusion as he thought about what Deidrith had just said. Just in the same way that Hitomi would do. This man seemed brash, maybe a little arrogant, and most of all he seemed to have a drinking problem. Then again he was an Oni. And their abilities all revolved around the use of alcohol. "Well at least you're honest. That's more then I can say for most guys." He shrugged and sighed slightly. "Well that's Hitomi for you. She has my fighting skill and her mothers fiery spirit. When she commits to something then come hell or high water she will do it no matter what and if someone or something gets in her way then she will plow through them as well. I'm shure you've probably already noticed that about her. That being said her happiness is all I care about. I trust her judgement. And if you make her happy then that is good enough for me. Even more so since you had the good manners to ask for my blessing. We Hyuga thrive on that sort of thing. As long as she does not get hurt, I can see us getting along just fine." He moved over and patted him on the back, leading him towards the living room. "Let's go find out where the girls got to, hmm?"

He walked off into the living room. Hitomi turned her head to look as they entered. Realizing that he had probably just had one of those protective father talks with Deidrith. The fact that he was smiling must have meant that it went well. Because if it hadn't then it probably would have ended in explosions and shouting. Her father had always been protective and had a bit of a short fuse. But things were apparently going well. "Hey! Glad you could finally join us."

Having already made it home and headed out once again, Manfread rose from the ground and stepped into the living room of the strange house. Not wanting to admit he had gotten lost he justified his actions, since he had used Military earth movement it was not technically B&E so he thought he was safe. Looking around no one seemed to be in there. Spotting the large picture hanging on the wall, jaw dropping to the floor Manfread nearly broke something as he ran over to inspect.
The people in the picture were surely from the Hyuuga Clan, but Manfread had to be sure. Deciding to wait for the owner to come home Manfread made tea, then sitting down on the sofa Manfread he formed a hand sign and began to manipulate chakra.
“Might as well get some training in as I wait.”
