Jarel catches one kick to the knee which forces him to stumble forward. the ropes prove to be a valuable ally, as he uses them to remain standing

*Now that Jarel has pressed himself against E Rock after taking another arrow to the knee, E Rock tried to separate himself from his opponent by shoving him away. If that worked, E Rock would explode out of the corner with a short-range clothesline.*

(by forward, i meant away from you. Jarel's walking along the ropes. i assumed when you kicked him in the back of the knee, he was still facing away from you)

the knee clip succeeds in bringing jarel off his feet finally, though he instantly tries to pull himself up again

*E Rock laid on the mat for a second, smirking as he took Jarel down. When he got up and looked at Jarel, he was horrified to see Jarel getting back to his feet. Cursing, E Rock bounced off the ropes for another knee clip to the left knee.*

Jarel gets to his feet, and turns as E Rock is rebounding at him. Jarel leaves his feet as he dives forward, attempting to catch E Rock coming in with a clothesline

Jarel is down as well, but knows the need to capitalize. he pushes himself up quickly, just enough to go for a pin attempt

to follow up the onslaught, Jarel attempts an elbow drop across E Rock's chest, which he'd take into another pin attempt

Jarel elbow drops the hell out of the canvas. too bad the canvas doesn't feel anything. Jarel sits up and gets to his feet again, turning back towards E Rock
