"You're late." The voice cut across the din of chatter in the classroom, unfamiliar and yet there was something... distinct about it. Any that cared to look to the front of the room would find a hunter looking at them disapprovingly, arms crossed as her eyes swept across the trainees. Her eyes lingered on those that were half-dressed, assessing them in a glance.
"Assemble yourselves into squads of three to five. Vary your group. Mists, please stand in for an absent Sun, Moon, Life, or Death. Go."
Aria paused, her gaze sweeping across the assembled students. "If you do not trust me, the door is behind you. Show yourself out."
(( OOC: Please assemble yourselves into groups of 3-5 members with varying divisions/specialties~ You have approximately 24 hours from this post to complete this.
The thread is still open to new participants. Once the 24 hours are up, no new participants may enter.
Details concerning the mission will be revealed once teams are made. ))

Dakota didn't rush...anywhere when he got the message. Taking his sweet time (he blamed recent events of runnign and such everywhere to his laziness) to enter the room to catch the tail end of what the hunter had said to them.
Eh, Nice, He'd never seen this female hunter before. He grinned as he looked at her before going up to Wilson, nodding his head to Tedan, Robert and Cass on his way over. Though he didn't personally know him, it felt polite considering the mission.
"Wilson." He sat next to the boy before grinning, "Debrief me bro, Am I the only moon hunter in here or what?" He looked around for his fellow team mates and sighed.
Whenever she spoke with that voice, it made him feel like she was talking down to him...Bleh.

A voice reached her ears and Candace stopped everything she was doing. Her phone fell out of her hands onto the table, her eyes widened and her jaw dropped slightly. No way...
No way!
They...they killed her! Or..no..! They killed someone who was pretending to be her or...what was even...?! "A..Aria?" Candace breathed out in disbelief. She wasn't sure how to feel. Yes, it was nice to have a leader for her division again but...but Aria had been...
What was going on!?
Candace suddenly stood up, her hands on the table. "Ma'am! I mean no offense but...when did you..er..I mean...you're...really back? You're not just some...thing in disguise?" She wanted to trust her. She wanted to so badly. She had wanted to continue being trained by her division leader, to learn what a mist hunter did! But then at that gorge...
Clarice had said they were pulling up extra precautions. Surely they had forced Aria to conduct the same examinations as the rest of them? It had to be her. It had to be. She looked to Cass and smiled a little. Would Aria be proud to see two of her mist trainees had earned promotions in her absence? She wanted this to be the real Aria. "I'm not going anywhere, ma'am." Now to just form a team with someone.
...Someone who didn't hate her for no good reason. Oh lovely. Not with Cass, they needed to fill in spots for other divisions...ah! Eva! She was a Death! And they had been on a team before! "Eva, darling." She called out, waving a hand. "Just like old times~?" If she accepted that would be one down.

Jerry had gotten the text, but taken a long while to debate whether or not he should go. He was still healing, after all, and his sparring had gone terribly. But... there was something about the actual missions that brought out the best in him. Maybe it would be alright? If not, he had his team mates to help spread the wealth, but he was confident in Roar at the very least.... Alright, that settled it.
Grabbing his coat and scarf, the Sun-Trainee hurried his way as quickly as he could to the meeting. It wasn't until he arrived that he realized just how late he really was.
Great.
Slinking in, he glanced about in search of any familiar faces to gravitate towards.

His expression became a mix of confusion and guilt. He was late? Wait. He was late, sorry! Wilson turned around, staring at the female hunter with a curious gaze. A quick glance to her coat told him she was a mist hunter. He looked to Candace when she uttered a name. Aria? Aria the Mist Hunter. Perhaps a division leader? He didn’t see why she would send the text otherwise. “Yes’m.” He spoke quietly. She was much more serious, but he could tolerate that.
“Dakota!” His face lit up at the younger boy’s presence. “Yeah, looks like you’re the only moon hunter so far, but maybe some others will show up later. Apparently we need to make groups of three to five with varied divisions. Wanna team up?” Then Wilson’s attention flickered over to Vanessa. He didn’t say anything, but it was clear he was asking if the life trainee wanted to group up.

Eva grinned right back at Gale, bumping her shoulder against his. "Haven't seen you around lately! You've been okay?" She turned to look at him as she munched on her plain toast, blue eyes wide with curiosity. Maybe she just hadn't run into him these past few days.
Just as she finished off the last of her toast, someone came striding in and giving them orders. Someone who was...not at all familiar to Eva, but it seemed that Candace recognized her. Aria, huh? The questions her fellow-Epsilon was asking puzzled her, but she decided not to ask. Not now, anyways--it looked like she would get a chance to ask the other girl herself firsthand, since she had just invited her to team up with her.
And of course, she was going to say yes. "Works for me!" She grinned, holding a thumb up. And--ah, right, her coat. Looking sheepish, Eva straightened the article out so that it was actually sitting on the shoulders instead of falling off.

And just who was this chick, and why ... did Candace seem so surprised to see her here? Errm... well, she seemed to know what she was doing, at least. Better than Julie for sure. Looking around, Tedan considered who all was there and after a moment or two he actually turned to Leon. "Hey, a*****e. If we're supposed to get different divisions together ...." Was he actually asking the other to team up with him? Yes, yes he was. I mean, they were all in this together, right? And at least Leon hadn't been the one to go all psycho and kill him and his friends back in the test or whatever. Plus, they'd already had their little punching match. See, he could be the better man! Totally. Yeeeaaaa that would take a little longer, mmkay?

Oh good! That was one so far! Now she just needed one or two more. What was left? Sun, Moon and Life? One of those she could fill in for...her usual Moon choice wasn't here though! But her favorite sun was. "Great~!" She returned the thumbs up and pushed away from her chair, to be closer to her first teammate, passing by Jerry and playfully trailing a hand across the back of his shoulders with a little smile as she passed him.
"Would you like to be my sun, honey~? Or would you like to team up with someone else for a change?" Her eyes darted to Jordan a moment before turning back to Jerry. It wasn't a hint to get rid of him by any means, she just didn't want to look like she was forcing Jerry to be some kind of lap dog to her or something. If he wanted to be with other friends she'd understand. She was a mist hunter, damnit. She could fill in for other divisions. Clarice had said she had the potential as a sun hunter herself!

Aria??
Jordan realized that he was gaping like a fish. He closed his mouth quickly, made himself stop staring. Well. That answered the question about whether Aria had actually existed, and if so, where she was. Apparently, she'd returned. He glanced over at Candace as she asked the question that had flashed across the minds of everyone who had been in the canyon that day. Of course this was the real Aria; with the increased security measures, there was no way that she could be something else.
He kept his mouth shut, though; if Candace wanted to ask the stupid, obvious question, well, good for her. Instead, he removed his elbow from Robert's head and took a quick look around, checking coats. Time to be serious.

Robert was still chewing on his two bites of energy bar when the lady - holyshit Aria - walked in. Was it Aria? Or was this just another trick? Candace seemed to ask all the questions for him - yay for her being useful at more than just sex! Since some random dude had already laid claim on Leon, he patted the man hard on the back and kicked Deryk's chair. "OI. You're with me." There was no question here. He looked up, to where he assumed Jordan would be. "Boss, you don't mind if my new friend here comes to play with us, right? He's good with his weapon." Never not d**k jokes.

"Oh, ah! We're forming groups already? Did I miss the whole briefing?" Jerry smiled weakly in embarrassment, although he was very glad to see her. He glanced around, scanning for anyone who might have need of a Sun Hunter.... Jordan seemed to be filling the roll for his and Robert's group, but he gave them both a nervous wave all the same. "Hmm...."

"Not yet. Aria just wants us to form 'varied groups'." She glanced toward her division leader before leaning in close to whisper in Jerry's ear. "They raised the security so it should actually be her. Don't worry, okay~?" Candace desperately wanted to believe this really was the real, honest to god Aria.
Her gaze followed Jerry's to Jordan and Robert, the latter of which made her eyes narrow and she had to force away a deep frown, but she was reminded that Jordan himself was a sun hunter. Looked like her attempt at being generous was for naught. "I think you'll like Eva, she was an Epsilon like me. And she seems like a sweetheart so far." She smiled, reaching to hold his hand and give him a gentle tug. It was up to him in the end.

He should have known.
The expression on Gale's face darkened immediately, closing off into something unreadable. His lips pressed together into a thin line, Gale's fingers tightening where they rested against his upper arms, folded over his chest. He stared at the woman standing at the front of the room, his eyes fixed on her all-too-familiar face.
Aria.
He wasn't really surprised to see her alive. After all, Gale had seen her come back already, had ridden in that damned helicopter with her as he had tried to get answers from her.
Except he'd gotten nothing - nothing, but horrible memories.
Caught up in his own thoughts, Gale almost missed the instructions.
We're forming squads? he thought, dismayed by the prospect of attempting to find someone else to work with. There weren't many people he knew in this room, and those he did were already in groups.
<< Seems to be the case, yes. >> murmured Jinhai. << Better find someone to latch onto. >>
The glare he leveled at Aria was one of anger as Gale pushed back his seat, glancing around at the room and thinking his options were very, very limited, group-wise.
- if not altogether gone.
