Eep. "UHHH, t-that's okay! Y-you need to get back to your dorm and rest! And--oh, here, have some hot chocolate too." She thrust the box into his arms, and then rushed off to retrieve a thermos of hot chocolate, which she set on top of the cake box. "There we go! Just call me if you have trouble sleeping, and I can bring over some tea too, okay?"

He laughed and took it, an evil grin on his face. "I might steal a kiss later just for the entertainment aspect," he said wickedly. "You turn BRIGHT red, did you know that?" he teased before heading for the door. "See y'around, Xiu," he added, then left, disappearing into the night.

Xiu made a mental note to be more cautious around Roch from here on out.
When Roch opened that box of cupcakes, he would find something nestled between them at the bottom of the box. Friendship was important to the baku, and no matter what happened, she would still see Roch as a close friend. Her gift was a testament to that fact.
