I think newer CD players have been changed to play 1 second tracks. Mine does at least and it was made in 2001. My computer on the other hand, will outright crash whatever program is playing the cd.
This song was my favorite off of Undertow. It was so creepy and the images I got from it were just disturbing and yet made me want to listen to it over a few times. I never bother to listen to the very end of it, though.

Tishirin Yokushama The preacher speak at the begining is Bill Hicks, the comedian, who was good friends with Maynard before he died. Bill is also the spoken word on drugs at the start of 3rd eye. The industrial sounds in the the song are made by the members of tool and rollins band smashing grand pianos with sledge hammers and sampling it. The weird sceam is maynard's siamese cat. The poem that comes after the cricket noise was left on one of their answering machines by their landlord. Awesome song, one of my faves. Although my friend has a really bad trip on drugs while listening to it. And the rest of us like stoned losers didn't realise until it had gotten quite bad for her. Thanks for clearing that up.

The CD Undertow when it first was put out had a picture of a really fat naked lady. The cover soon was changed to a bar code to make it clean. The tracks were changed in the prosses as well. I don't know if anyone has already posted this but its interesting.

The bar code he is talking about is the cover for the censored version of Undertow. You can see this barcode version at places like Wal-Mart.. But the cover used now for the uncensored regular version of the album is said to be a red ribcage, which is what it looks like to me. I'm trying to figure out how it looks like a scorpion... I talked to my friend Steve (who doesn't like Tool at all) and got him to take a look at the cover. I asked him if it resembled a scorpion at all and he explained how there are five prongs on each side and scorpions have eight legs, that he can't see any head or tail so it looks nothing like a scorpion. He told me what he thought it was though... steve: ITS A ******** PICASSO CUP HOLDER rofl

No actually it is Maynard...I think, because in the middle of the song the "angel of the lord" refers to him as Reverend Maynard
The song was made after Tool did a show at I think Ron L. Hubbard's house... the base for the religion of Scientology. After finding this fact out, Maynard looked around, and preceded to bleet and baa like a sheep whos lost its sheperd into the mic.
So, apparently yes Maynard hates religion, but hates scientology more...

I can just picture Disgustipated being performed live...all the fans getting together and listening to Maynard like he's a preacher, orgies (as mentioned before), and so many Toolgasms the body couldn't handle it. I would love to see the song played live.
