Dear Reader,
I feel like the household old pet, who’s been around since forever. That’s probably close to it seeing I was the first thing brought from the outside into the family. Still, things have changed, from having Trisha crawl all over me, to having new Seconds like Kali who is organized to the point of it being creepy, and Lin looks like a combination of Donovan and Kara. Then there is Miyu, who is not Kara’s child, but Yue’s child.
Kara also has a lot of grandchildren; she might soon have as many grandchildren as she does children. Then again, knowing her habits, maybe not. Summer over all seems the time for children, though the amount increase isn’t as bad and most of them are Seconds. So, at least it’s predictable what kind of children arrive, for the most part.
At this point though, I am waiting for when the evitable marriage between Kara and Donovan. Note that I am saying marriage and not actually a wedding. Though, there’s a slight chance they might not be able to wiggle out of a full wedding, even if they got married. After all, the Lau clan is very traditional, and Donovan would have to have his mother. Kara fortunately does not have this problem; unfortunately she has a force that is known as her children, though the only ones that would really care is Helen.
Helen… has been eyeing the cloths of white bolts while muttering under his breath that white might not be a good choice. Somehow, this worries me…
