There was pain. A whole <******** lot of pain, which was punctuated with squeals and shrieks that suggested a cat was being shoved into a wood chipper tail-first. But no, that was just Before, trying to withstand the agony of having a chainsaw hack away at Vanna's FEAR shield.
The wheel would not go down without a fight, and as such, neither would Before. Blood might be flecking the teeth on Leon's weapons, but Vanna was fine with staying clean as Before dealt to the boxer blunt force trauma to the face.

it was like a barrage of haymakers to the boxers face. a steady thump thump thump. Even with nid's shield in place, the pain wasn't there but the contact was still felt. some thing solid hitting his face and making Leon's perception go blurry. But the enemy was still standing.
That needed to be fixed with a uppercut that only connected by a hair on Before's chin. after that there was very little energy to put up a proper guard for the bulky life hunter.

The uppercut, slight as the force behind it was, hit a nerve on Before's chin. Causing him to freeze before Vanna's weight and mass had him toppling forward to bring the wheel crashing down on Leon, together with the shorter Lifer's full semi-deadweight. Semi, because Before still managed to stand. Somehow. While going "Ohshi ohshi ohshi-!"

That wheel was like a illegal weighted boxing glove as Leon watched it crash into him in slow motion horror. Was it steel, or lead or some kind of alloy? He had no clue, but it hurt and hurt really bad as it contorted his face and knocked him to the floor.
And the Boxer was out like a light. T.K.O.

It was a slow, arduous task that Before undertook in dragging Leon all the way to the Hunter Trainee dorms. Thankfully, they were on the first floor and when Before paused to catch his breath, he realized he had no idea which room was Leon's DDDDDDDDDDD8
So instead of leaving the poor guy out in the hall (people could trip over him!) he continued dragging the unconscious trainee into his room. Where he no longer bothered to try to pull him onto the bed and simply left Leon to "recuperate" on the floor while Before flopped down on his bed to take a well-deserved nap.
