The door to Julie's room was suddenly slammed open and an angry blonde in a fluffy white robe stormed through, brandishing two strangely familiar looking rubber ducks. "Julie, did you take my duckies again?" Clarice threw in a couple of neck snaps to let the Moon hunter know she meant business. Serious business. "Because if all you're going to leave me with is Quacklius and Ducktor H then I'm not letting you use my bathroom any-"
She cut-off noting the fact that Julie was not, in fact, alone. And that the hunter herself was doing the furry thing again. With...trainees. Multiple...trainees. Oh god were those cookies?! Was this the start of some kind of festive holiday orgy?! Knowing Julie...yes, yes it was. Eyes wide, and cheeks red, the Life assistant carefully backed away and out of the room. She firmly closed the door after her.

"Nooo! COME BACK!" Cass shouted after Clarice, her tone practically seeping with every word of 'Saavveeee meeeeeeeeeee'.

It was too bad Julie was too busy squealing and clapping over Bix and Harrison's holiday answers to pay any attention to Clarice - Professor Fowlma Shox and Aviantarian Arel would return to the assistant Life Hunter's bathroom on another more convenient sort of evening (incidentally, it was also a good thing that noone was standing next to the mistletoe right under Clarice, though Cass did come close.)
"Cass, Candace! Glad to see you found the cookies!" The way Julie said it sounded like she herself had no clue where she put them. "Come, join us around the table, we are almost done, and soon, I will find true love just in time for the Christmas Gala. I was thinking of wearing this costume for the ball, but I'm not too sure, should I wear the reindeer costume or the snowman one?"
She mused for a bit over it, hm-hmming, taking a sip of the hot chocolate. "I think I'll try for both this year, don't you think that's the best answer? By the way, do you fine young gentlemen believe in love at first sight? This is a serious, very serious question." A couple of pointed nods followed the query. The Girls - They can finally sit themselves around the table, there is hot chocolate and cookies for all!.... The Guys QUESTION NO 2:- Once again, pick one of the four choices and go from there.

EhhHHhhhhhehhh..... it looked like retreating back to the kitchen wasn't an option for Cassandra and Candace, Cass making a weak face as she sat down at the table with the eccentric acting-leader, Harrison, Bix, and her fellow Mist Trainee. Costumes...how many costumes did she ha-
Christmas Gala?
"Wow, never a dull moment.." she commented quietly, tapping her fingers on the table in a way that made her think about horses galloping and trying to not feel like a third wheel on the interview that was being stared down pointedly between Julie and the boys, looking to Candace like 'Oh thank god, we're almost freeeeee'.
Almost. So. Close. Please.
"You should wear one and see if one of the boys will wear the other." Cass suggested as a solution, but this time not actually touching the hot chocolate that was there. She'd nearly killed herself over the marshmallows. She wasn't going to eat anything touching them knowing where they had come from.
Even if she had earlier. She was going to end up sick in a bathroom somewhere.

Bix's eyes widened when she mentioned a snow man costume and then he gaped at Cass when she suggested that 'one of the boys' wear the snowman one. Okay.. okay.. Bix stared down at the cookies on the table and then to Harrison who already seemed a little under the influence.
He grabbed a cookie and woofed one down, a whole one, and closed his eyes as the magic happened. Of course then she asked about love at first sight and Bix felt a grin creeping up onto his face.
"Love at first sight?" His cheeks were turning rosey and he waggled a finger as if Julie was being naughty. "Well it depends.. on if the person is wearing a rather awesome reindeer costume!" He then laughed, holding his belly.
Oh yes. He did just say that.

"Real true love? If you believe in anything it will come true," Harrison said, stuffing the cooking in his mouth with a slightly distant sparkle evident in his expression,
Don't eat- too late, B0nez said, If you eat any more of those things, I think you are going to die. Not that that's a bad thing, I'm just saying.
With enforced fervor, Harrison finished, "especially on Christmas."
There was a brief and awful moment where he sang the first warbling lines of "-A drEaMMMM is a wiiiish your heart mAaaAakes," in a rough grumbling sort of voice that resembled nothing like music, but everything like really tone def, before thinking better of it and just humming a one-note version of Jinglebells (hmm hmm hmm hmmm hmmm hmmm hmmm hmm)

The door slammed open and Candace just stared at Clarice walked in with...rubber ducks. Wait. Her duckies?Next time you two spar you should threaten her duckies. Atropos cackled, making Candace snort and purse her lips. The names! Quacklius and Ducktor H! Ahahaha! Why did she name them that?! ..Why does Julie use Clarice's bathroom if she has her own? Candace's eyes widened widened and her mouth set in a hard line as she imagined the horrors that awaited anyone who entered that room. Good lord. But Clarice left and her hopes for salvation left with her. Damnit. Their attempts to stay far from Julie seemed for naught when the girl insisted they stay and sit at the table. At least they were almost done... "Christmas...Gala?" Candace wasn't sure whether she was being crazy in the head, which wouldn't be surprising at all, or if Julie was actually being serious. She didn't think it was...a ball didn't exactly seem like something that would get sanctioned by the leaders. Sigh. A shame. Oh well. Somehow Candace wasn't even surprised at the idea of Julie having multiple costumes. This girl probably even had a giant heart costume for Valentine's day, and a rabbit for Easter. Oh god she hoped not. Candace saw the look Cass was giving her and chuckled, reaching out to squeeze her shoulder. Almost free. Ariane was actually very lucky to be running late! She didn't have to experience this! Though she squeezed Cass' shoulder again when not only Bix but Harrison each ate one of the cookies they had brought for them. Oh god. These answers were so gay. ...But not as gay as Harrison trying, and failing, to sing. Candace's head sloooooowly turned to stare at him as he continued on to hum. Oh my god."Aren't you hot in that, Julie? You certainly can't expect a real true love's kiss wearing the head, eh?" The way Candace saw it, attraction was emotional and physical, right? So it'd be nice if they saw her face~!

It was too bad Bix couldn't actually see Julie blushing behind said reindeer costume. "Well yes I did spend quite a few hours putting it together, it wasn't hard, dying my used Hunter coats-" wait what?! -"but I am very proud of the end result." As she listened to Harrison hum the tunes to 'We wish you a Merry Christmas', she joined in on chorus for a bit, their voices clashing together into something awful, before stopping for a bit to consider Cass's question. "But oh, now there's another problem, should the gentleman wear the snowman or reindeer costume hm-hmmmm." One reindeer hoof tapped the reindeer chin thoughtfully. At some point, the trainees might have noticed - those not under the influence of Joy cookies - that they were sitting in a room, talking to a woman in a giant reindeer costume about Christmas festivities in a room that would make Santa Claus himself pause and run the other direction.
This thought was unfortunately interrupted by Julie, yet again. "Fortunately you both win the grand prize for the Christmas Gala, which speaking of, everyone is invited to. It's so nice to have all the company, I just get so lonely sometimes, anyone other than Mr. Wiggles is nice." Hopefully this Mr. Wiggles was the name of the Moon Hunter's weapon, though whether or not she had a weapon seemed to be another question entirely. " Anyway, gentlemen, shall we now kiss the kiss of true love?"
Two very large plush - and apparently made from Hunter coat fabric - Reindeer eyes bore deeply into Bix and Harrison, waiting, the moment lingering forever. OOC  - You know how this goes...

Cass immediately felt like a third wheel once again in the room as Julie asked about the kiss of true love, looking to Candace horrified. Her ears might have been bleeding from the horrible cacophony of noises that should not have been joined together.
So.
Horrible.
Errruuuggghhh.
If they were going to get any smooching happening, she wanted to know where the closest, and least disgusting, bathroom was so she could run out the door (not that the irony of the fact that one of the gushiest most love-struck little trainees being bothered by watching people kiss was lost on her. But..she tried to keep it in a private setting, dammit!).
Still, Cass twiddled her thumbs and looked at Bix and Harrison with a rather apologetic look on her face.

"Like, on the lips?" Harrison asked, touching his own somewhat mangled ones. A ribbon of concern was reaching through the cloud of JOY and good tidings.
His lips didn't hurt as much as they had before, mostly they felt warm and buzzy, but they did have stitches. He wasn't sure they were ready for full contact sports.
Not that he could say no if somebody was standing underneath mistletoe!
Oh boil, B0nez groaned.

It could have been joy cookies but something misfired in Bix's brain which told him it was less weird that there was a group of people involved, "Sure why not.. there's mistletoe right? Can't say no... to mistletoe!" Somewhere in saying that line he made a point to rhyme it, and then laughed.
Bix looked at Harrison's stitched lips. "She'll be gentle!" Another hearty chuckle. He definitely would be embarrassed later or at least have 'mysteriously' forgotten all about the goings on.

Mister...Wiggles? Candace pat Cass' shoulder again, giving an understanding nod and frown at the look she was being given. While she wasn't bothered by seeing public displays of affection she could sympathize with poor Cass; seeing Julie trying to make out with her best friend was kind of weird. "Careful with Harrison. He's got a bit of a handicap right now." Candace frowned a little as even he seemed to worry about the kiss, putting her head on Cass' shoulder and just watching the group. This would certainly be interesting. She just hoped Julie took the reindeer head off before attempting to kiss either man... And where was Ariane? She was going to miss this! And whatever their reward was at the end!

"Yes," Julie explained to everyone in the room, though mostly for the benefit of Harrison and Bix, "This was of course a test to see if you passed my test of true love. And now that you both passed, we shall now engage in our final part of this mission together, the kiss of true love." One reindeer hoof went up in the air as an objection. "However, this kiss of true love - yes, on the lips of course - must be done when the clock chimes twelve on Christmas Eve, the most romantic evening of the holidays." A happy sigh. "True love's first kiss doth never been more greateth."
Satisfied that she had butchered enough Shakespeare, she focused her eyes (the Reindeer costume's mouth) back to the two male trainees. "So I will see the both of you on Christmas eve, and I will be there, waiting. Waiting for you to come to me. Fatefully waiting for my prince charming."
Wait was that it. Was the mission finally... over? Should they dare head towards the exit? "Before you leave," Julie suddenly piped up, reaching for a very colourful box underneath the coffee table. "I have treats for everyone!" Inside the box were rows and rows of more cookies. Why she had not pulled those out earlier noone would ever know. The Moon Hunter proffered the tray up for everyone. "Please, please take one. I spent all afternoon baking them last night!"OOC PHEW, the ordeal is over, for some of them. However, Julie is INSISTING that everyone should try one of her cookies. Would she even let them out alive if they refused? Well, they look edible enough, thankfully

"It's a date!" Bix perked as she mentioned the Christmas Eve arrangement. When he came down off of his cookie high he would most likely be uneasy, if not dread the evening in question. For now though, it all seemed like a fun and festive plan! "Should I wear a .. costume? I don't have one.." He tapped his cheek with a finger while grabbing a handful of Julie's treats. "These look AWESOME. Hey Cass, cookies! CHECK IT OUT! HAVE SOME!" He'd hopped to his feet and was now dragging Cass by the wrist over to the cookie box.

She'd nearly made a mad dash out the door before the cookies were produced. Not even able to try and escape before Bix dragged her back over to try one of the possibly hellish cookies produced from nowhere by the moon hunter.
The look on Cass's face was pure venom. She'd nearly died in Julie's kitchen over cookies she'd already had? Still..if she only had to eat one of those cookies and then walk out the door, she'd take it. She didn't have to watch anybody smooch on each other that day.
She hoped. Knowing her luck she'd go out into the hall and see some duo mackin' on each other something serious. Still, none the less, it seemed they were safe for the time being.
Looking at the cookies, it was a long time before Cass reached out to take one, the look on her face absolutely hilarious as she took it up and hesitantly put it into her mouth. She didn't chew on it, however, just sat there, with the cookie half in her mouth with this look on her face like she was thinking about if she dared actually attempting to eat it or not. Hmmmm... Hmmm......
....
Mrrnnghhhh.....
Cass finally just shoved the whole thing in her mouth, chewed it up, and swallowed. Then she waited to see if she'd immediately keel over dead from taking such a risk. If so, she needed to make a note to start writing notes before she left on missions as her final farewells to people.
