As the sleeping boy groaned slightly, being woken up from his nap, the Pikachu looked up at the Absol sleepily before looking up at Yuki. "Whaaaaaaaat...What do you want...?" the boy asked, pulling the hat off his face, revealing deep red eyes, and charcoal black hair. As he moved, his vest opened slightly, and Hoenn gym badges glinted from inside his vest. The boy merely stared up at Yuki from his position on the ground.

Yuki tilted her head, staring back down into the boy's red eyes with her own pale eyes. There wasn't exactly a distinct color in her eyes, more or less it just being an odd mixture of brown, crimson, and gray. She opened her mouth to say something, only to pause and raise an eyebrow at the Hoenn Gym Badges. Then she perked up immediately with a bright grin. "Hey cool! You've got the Hoenn Badges too? Are those the only ones you got? I've got them all, but I never went to defeat any of the Champions or whatever. I can't picture myself what I'd be doing if I won, so why bother? I'm happy the way I am..." Yuki blinked twice and blushed slightly in embarrassment, scratching the back of her head. "O-oh right! Sorry. Getting distracted here. The name's Yuki Rekita, and this is my Absol, Slash. We were just wondering if you knew anything about the island. We came here on this weird Aerodactyl, so I figured if you're so laid back here, you must know about this place since you're so relaxed here."

As he stood up to stretch, the Pikachu quickly jumped up on his shoulder, staring out at Yuki. Setting his cap on his head, the boy put his left hand in his pocket as he faced Yuki. "To answer the second question, no, I don't really know anything. As for the first part, I have all the regions badges, but can't challenge any other Elite Four and become that region's champion, becuase I'm Hoenn's. My name's Vince, and this is my partner, Pika."

Yuki stood there silently for a few moments before smiling again. "No way! You're the Hoenn Champion!?... So cool..." However, her brief moment of awe and excitement seemed to disappear a second later when she started looking around the area. "Well, I guess that's all I need then. Just gotta continue on my way to find out what the deal is with this island. If you want, you can come with me. The more the merrier, right? Just don't act all high and mighty 'cause your a Champion or 'cause I'm a girl. As far as I'm concerned, as long as we're on this island, we're on equal terms, got it?"

Vince merely shrugged as Pika looked at Vince. "I never thought gender or title showed skill with Pokemon. I've no problem following you around."

Yuki raised en eyebrow at him, only to shrug and smile once again. "Well, there's some people out there who are at least sexist." She folded her arms behind her head and spun around on her heel, trotting off in some random direction.

Vince trotted after her, his left hand still in his pocket, an almost blank look on his face. "Of course, those are also the people who don't know how to truly handle a Pokemon." he said as he lightly rubbed under Pika's chin, who reacted merely by closing it's eyes and leaning it's head up.

"Very true... Of course, I always think about my Pokemon, isn't that right Slash?" Yuki asked, glancing down at the Absol walking by her side. He looked back up at her and seemed to smile with a nod. Yuki giggled quietly and shifted her gaze to the direction she was walking. "I wonder what's on this island..."

Yuki sighed but nodded in agreement. She kept her arms folded behind her head while drifting her gaze up to the sky. "So... Vince, is it? What's it like being a Champion?" she asked out of the blue.

Alitira was getting ready to respond but she already left. "Well, guess I can check out what's in here." She said before reading the sign of the door of the building. Quickly opening it, the first thing that caught her eye was all the items that were there. Shock followed after Alitira as she examined the maps on the animal skin. "This is interesting."

Nel glanced around for a moment then sighed."hmm...there has to be a lake or something around here somewhere,right?" he said looking down at Vay and smiling."let's go see if we can find one~".with that Nel and Vay trotted off to see if they could find any water for his poke'mon to play in.

Yuki nodded her head slightly but continued staring up at the sky. "See? I knew there was a reason why I didn't want to go for Champion~" she said with a bright grin. She wasn't exactly talking to Vince, but more or less talking to Slash. Her Absol merely rolled his eyes and continued walking close to her side. Usually by now they would be running through the island, exploring, but with Vince here, Yuki tried to remain calm.

Pika just merely curled up around Vince's shoulders, going back to sleep as they walked. Vince however, eyed Yuki for a moment before sighing softly. "Y'know, perception is key to being a good trainer, as well as patience." he said, continuing to look forward.
