Vaith had won at this point. He was absolutely sure it was because he was a second year but Mai had put up an extremely close fight. Somewhere in the battle, they had rolled to the ground in a mess of limbs and colos, blue clashing with yellow.
Vaith was exhausted.
He finally decided to reveal his side of the bet, his broad frame blocking the light as he tried to stand up but halfway staggered on top of Mai. His breath was ragged, the fear retracting from his clothes, a symbol of his drained strength. Even Noise had retreated, the fear energy provided for Noise running low.
"You have to follow my room rules. One, my old cape is off-limits. Two, I require clothes. All the time."
Vaith must have been seriously worried about any possibility of undressing. Not that he expected anything but in honest terms, Vaith wasn't sure what to expect from Mai at all.

Mai was absolutely burnt out. It felt like it was taking all of her concentration just to hold herself together. Her hair and clothing were a disaster pooling around her.
Still, it had been fun. And now Vaith was speaking and she tried to focus her waning attention on his words.
"Clothes?" Mai's face immediately formed an exaggerated pout at his terms. Well that wasn't nice. Though..
"Ok," she said, giving in quite smoothly. The corners of her mouth turned up into a small, impish smile. "I will abide," she murmured, then passed out.

Vaith frowned. That was a little too agreeable, even for Mai.
Suspicious. What had he agreed to.
