At the warning of something hurting she scoffed and rolled her eyes. "I've probably had worse." She told him, though she did flinch and hiss as the disinfectant stung her mud-filled wounds. Goddamn! That did sting! At least it was just a 'this is cleaning your wounds yay' sting and not...something bad. Candace did sigh with relief when told there may not be scarring, feeling quite vain about that. She would love to go as long as possible with a few scars as she could. She looked Clarice's way when Stephen called her out, grinning. "Yes, ma'am~."
She turned back to Stephen and chuckled, giving a small nod. "I understand. For a second I thought she was really gonna kill me out there! Haha!" She was about to shake her had but thought better of it when her head began to swim simply from the motion of nodding. Wheeee! "Are they? Ahaha! Yeaaaah she got me real good in the head with that sword. That thing is hard." And heavy! Goddamn, Clarice! "Does that mean I've got a concussion're somethin'?" A little bit of Southern twang managed to sneak its way into that question and she pouted to herself.

"The woman runs hot and cold, so I wouldn't discount that as a possibility. Next time ask her for a couple bandages before takin' her and that big boy on." He leaned in closer to get a good look at her eyes, "You quite possibly do, but we'll see how it runs, since you've got a built in hospital all handy n'such." Stephan smiled reassuringly at her, "Just come back her if you find yourself sleepin' oddly, tossin' cookies, or getting disoriented. Also get plenty of rest and no fightin' or alcohol for the next couple days, we clear?"

Candace sat still to let him get a good look, frowning and trying not to lean on him. The adrenaline rush from sparring Clarice had faded almost entirely faded leaving her feeling not so fantastic anymore. At least the woman didn't seem about ready to destroy everything in her sight anymore; Candace would take helping someone and getting praise on her fighting as compensation. "Fun times, I've never had a concussion before. Built in hospital?" Annnnd there is was. Candace gave up on the battle of Fight Against Your Accent. "Define sleepin' funny. 'Cause I've got a chatterbug in my head." He rest was obvious, and the no fighting thing she could live with.
But no alcohol...
Candace looked heartbroken and dismayed. "Not even with Clarice? She promised." Damniiiiiiit! Maybe she'd accept a raincheck on that offer.
