Thanks, it's an earlier one from when I first started to write. Done for the heck of it. I think I wrote it for a poetry book we had to put together for my senior english class. Needless to say, mine wasn't one of the ones my teacher put on display, lol. It had a pretty cover though. I created it myself. She probably put my poems in the "things you don't do" category xp

Creature of the Night:

In and out of shadows
All throughout the night
You can't see me
I'm not within your sight

I bite your neck
And leave you in the grass
Hurry back to my coffin
And wait for morning to pass

The sun goes down
I wake up at night
Stare out the window at the moon
A beautiful sight

I walk in the park
Wondering who should be next
A young guy around his 20's?

I walk over to him
Stare into his eyes
Deep, dark and mysterious
Not one to tell lies

I bite him on the neck

I take him back with me
