Otto glared with all his power as Eva got closer. He squeaked uncomfortably at the poking of his new assets, arms defensively bringing themselves up to cover his chest. "But I don't wa---"He winced away as she patted his cheek, glaring up at the much taller Eva golem. "I don't give a s**t if I'm the only one or not. This just sucks!" He wanted his body back! He took back all the times he wished he was taller, or buffer. He took it all back! Just give him back his body! Otto sighed dejectedly.

As some of the other trainees got up to retrieve a cloak and trapper, his face lit up—that was right!—as he moved to follow suit. He wrapped the cloak around his neck and fastened it. Wilson curiously looked down, covering his body with his cloak. Maybe he could hide the dress and most of his face so his voice wouldn’t look so incongruent with his golem. Distracted, Wilson nearly tripped over an owl monster. “Woah! Sorry!” His tail flicked apologetically. The voice sounded semi-familiar. “Oh wait, I know you. You’re…uh…uh…” Wilson attempted to put a name to the voice, but nothing came to mind.

(( Male -- 3 feet -- Igor ))
The trainee was still very unsure about her surroundings, particularly now that she knew she was one of the shortest in the group and likely to be stepped on several times before the others got used to her presence...but her eyes (which were almost a solid black in color) rolled up to take a peek at the demo--er, Gale, nodding when he repeated her name and then tilting her head when the conversation continued after a...slightly awkward pause.
Blythe thrummed after Gale had properly introduced himself, one of Minerva's discolored hands finding its way to her chin. "Oh, right! That's where you're from!" Was all she could reply at first, a nearly toothless smile spreading her cheeks out. The trainee wondered where the boy's accent had derived the moment he opened his mouth, and would have snapped if her fingers weren't so...gnarled.
"And yeah, I am one of the new trainees." Glancing over to the approaching undead woman, Bix as he announced, Minerva lifted a brow before continuing. "One of the 'hatchlings', I guess. Ummm..." She seemed to tense up then, releasing a nervous laugh while flicking her gaze from Bix to the ground. They had met up just recently and shared in some...well, awkward moments and she wasn't entirely sure how he felt about the whole ordeal...or really, how she felt about it. "Heya Ferd--Bix! Bix! Yeah...I guess we do match!" Another laugh came as she wrung her hands out.
"But yeah," Shifting her attention back to Gale. "I'm the vertically challenged dirty-blonde from New York. I think I've seen you before actually..." Just before the sahara mission! Yes!
Wrinkling her nose, Minerva watched as others began to move about and attempted to shake out her rigid form, looking more like a fool doing the chicken dance than anything else. Several others had slowly begun to appear, and with each the trainee gave out a little squeak.
Even with Blythe's gentle coaxing Minerva couldn't shake the nerves.

Awww.
Straightening up, she gave Otto a reassuring pat on the back. "It's okay, Otto. You won't be stuck in there forever, after all!" Er, so she hoped and assumed, at least, "Just bear with it for now, and enjoy the nice change in scenery."
Or maybe not so nice, depending. When Eva looked around at some of the others, she felt a distinct chill slip down her spine now that she took in the appearance of all of the other trainees more carefully. Was this what those creatures that they were supposed to fight looked like?
Quickly, she turned back to the succubus, propping her hand up on her hip in a very feminine manner. "A-anyways, let's work on that falsetto of yours, Otto."

"Oh! Certainly~" Cass was all too willing to help Davey out, walking over to start unbraiding the tails from each other with a sort of ease a girl sort of..came with naturally, to be honest. Or perhaps out of lots of nurturing on the parental side of things to be girly. Either way, she'd never seen boys being extremely skilled at it.
Plus she got to fuss with the boy's fluffy fur while she was at it, yippee!! She stroked her hand over each tail carefully, eventually getting the three unknotted. "I don't know how I'd manage this many tails. It almost seems like being braided up would be more convenient..." she noted thoughtfully, stepping back over them with..as much care as she could with her proximity to the ground.
Lord she was short.
Jack.
Right. Whatever. Nicodemus would just be pulling her lingo out for her it seemed. Never the less, she took a moment to survey who else was around..like Leon baffling over being female.
"It looks like you're on rack duty this time, Leon" she chimed. Due to her small size, the feminine voice actually did suit her male golem. That meant she didn't have to put on theatrics like Bix had last time. She was sort of jealous of that skill.

Not forever. Right. Otto seemed to calm himself, though his outward appearance was still a grumpy one. He looked around at the so called scenery she was boasting, raising a brow at it. Yeah, beautiful.
"Wait, what? Falsetto?" Otto took a moment to process that, then laughed. "HAH! Yeah right! I an't talkn' in no girly high pitched voice. No way, woman!" He huffed, his slender shoulders stiffening. "If anyone asks me somethin' I'll just make like I can't talk none, or whatever."

- Female, 4", Undead Raccoon -
When Ryan woke up the world was looking like a much bigger place. He expected Halloween to be different, but--wow! It was really so much more different than he expected!
Five minutes later he would realize that the world was not bigger, but it was him that was smaller. A lot smaller!
:And a ghoul too!:
What!?
:You're an undead ghoul! A short one at that! Haha! Congrats!:
Ryan almost squeaked, as he gave himself herself a look over. Rotting flesh, ears, a bushy striped tail and oh ********, did he have a chest...?
"I'm female road kill..?" This was so wrong! Road kill was not supposed to have a chest!

((Female / Roughly three feet / Nightmare Pegasus (Pony breed)))The feeling of taking over another body was strange, to say the least. As Vanessa suddenly began to sense the area around her, she blinked, taking in the dark woods they seemed to be in. She looked down, confirming she was female still, then twitched a hand experimentally. She immediately went to checking over her limbs to make sure they were all there, moving her fingers before trying to shift around her toes.
Wait. There was a distinct lack of toe movement. Vanessa tilted over, realizing the ground was much, much closer than it should've been, and looked at her feet. It was then that she realized she didn't have feet.
She had hooves. Hooves.
Vanessa took a deep breath, then felt something stir on her back and she continued her limb-check. She looked over her shoulder, her eyes widening as she noticed the huge bat/dragon-like wings. They stretched as she thought of them, rippling like a deep-blue sheet of leather.
Her hands immediately went to her head, feeling her ears twitch. They were long and equine in feeling and they tipped and twitched in response to her touch. Something flicked against her fee-hooves, and she looked down to see a long tapering tail with thick mane-like fur down it. She stared at it for a moment, simply trying to take everything in. Her skin was a gray-ish color that gradiated into darker green-blue at her hands and hooves, her long, slightly ruffled hair a greenish color. It lined the top of her tail, down some of the edges of her arms, the back of her horse-like legs.
Her clothes were more or less generally tighter fitting, as if to make sure they wouldn't interfere with her golem's species ability to fly. The shirt was a bit shiny, as if it'd been made out of leather or something. The pants cut off a little under the knee, and were generally a color that matched her wings.
:: Maybe you're some kind of pegasus or something? :: Volt offered when Vanessa had finished her analysis of her golem. Vanessa gave him a mental nod, acknowledging that that was most likely it. Some kind of monstrous pegasus. But that didn't explain why she was so short...
Vanessa's face was filled with a wave of slight horror as she finally figured it out. The size, the features, they all pointed to one thing. Why, why did it have to be this?
In a rather flat voice, Vanessa said, "Guys, I think I'm a punk 'My Little Pony'." This statement was followed by a small introduction, "This is Vanessa, by the way."
Yup, Vanessa was apparently a wannabe villian from that show her little sister watched. How fantastic.

(( Female, short (5'0), demon (tengu) )) Jordan opened his eyes and noted immediately that he was short. Not the shortest golem here, certainly, a quick glance around told him that, but almost a foot shorter than his own body. Also, female. Again. "Dammit," he grumbled, and tried to take a step. He barely avoided falling on his a**, and that only by flailing and flapping ungracefully. Okay, two more observations: he had wings - big, black crow wings, from the look of it - and something was weird about his shoes. He cautiously poked a foot out to have a look. Sandals. With a single tread in the middle. How the hell was he supposed to walk in that? At least he had claws to hang onto the wooden sandal with. Maybe if he stepped with his whole foot, instead of a normal heel-to-toe motion. That worked better, but it brought the very short skirt of his kimono to his attention. He tugged the hem down, gritting his teeth with annoyance. He wouldn't put it past Dr. H to be personally involved in the creation of the golems. Nor would he be surprised if it turned out that the gender-switching was intentional somehow. Actually, that would require a step to be built into the process that involved checking the sex of the person in the pod ... Right, not thinking about that any more. Ferros was snickering at him. "Oh, shut up," he muttered under his breath. "Unless you've got any helpful advice. On second thought, shut up anyway." Figuring out how the red cloak was supposed to go on over his wings was a fresh new challenge. The feathered appendages kept twitching and shifting, tangling in the fabric; his third attempt to get the thing settled right ended up with the end of the cloak wrapped tightly around the base of one wing, and twisting, stretching, and tugging didn't help. Finally he gave up and rubbed a hand over his face. "A little help, someone?" he asked anyone nearby.

Davey would put up with the occasional stroke of a tail in order to get them untangled. "If they just hung there, sure, braided would be fine. But they keep moving about on their own. It's like someone yanking on your hair every time they try to move and can't." If your hair was growing out of your tailbone, that was. Finally the tails were free, celebrating by fanning out in a peacock-like display. (Or maybe they were just scared of getting tangled up again.) Davey turned out to face Cass, one of the tails brushing against her while another wrapped around to lie against Davey's chest. He looked down to find himself absently hugging it. Immediately he arms flew out, dropping the tail. The glare Davey directed at it had no effect, the tail lazily waving back into position behind him. "Thank you," he said to Cass, unable to keep eye contact with her for more than a few seconds. This tiny fluffy body was not doing him any favours.

"You can't stay mute forever. The fact that your voice sounds like that and yet you look like that doesn't help." She gave him a little slap on the back, urging him to try, "Besides, I'll probably have to deepen my own voice--unless...maybe I can pretend to be a guy who hasn't hit puberty yet?" That was definitely stretching it--even if she did try deepening her voice, Eva's voice would probably still be a little too feminine for her golem.
She perked up as she heard someone ask for help. Though it was a male voice, when she turned, she found herself facing a petite female with wings. Moving towards her (with Otto in tow, but of course), she stopped in front of Jordan with a grin. "Here, lemme see if I can try to figure that out for you." Dropping Otto's arm, she bent down to carefully untangle the cloak from around the caught wing. While she did so, she grinned at the trainee-turned-tengu.
"Wings. I always thought they would be pretty cool to have, but they just seem inconvenient in this case."

Stumbling about in her cloak, Kat was practically knocked face down into the dirt when someone had tripped over her. "Whoa--!" Yep..she hated being this short. Was there any chance she could go back and switch to a different golem? Lifting her head, the first thing she saw were the taller hunters in their golems. Some people got all the luck.
Lazily looking over to the culprit who stumbled over her, she picked herself up off the ground and dusted herself off. "Its okay..I think..I'm gonna have to get used to it at this height." After a moment of letting him try to guess who she was, she decided to just answer for him. "Kat." She would attempt to guess his name as well, but she hardly knew anyone from Deus ex Machina yet. He could be anyone.

His ears twitched as he picked up a familiar voice. “Ryan?” Just a couple yards away was a golem, rotting and bushy-tailed. “Ryan, is that you?” [Looks like an undead raccoon.] Wilson choked back a laugh as he stepped a bit closer to the other trainee. By now Wilson realized he had shrunken quite a bit, perhaps about a foot, but at least he was still taller than others. “You look uh…adorable, Ryan.” [And I think you make a wonderful carbuncle.] “Wait, I’m a carbuncle?”
He heard another voice and he looked at Vanessa. “I remember watching the first episode of that. It was uh, interesting.” Wilson smirked as he noticed Vanessa’s diminutive. “Wow. You really shrunk.” His tail wouldn’t stop flicking and he grabbed it in a futile attempt to keep it from moving.
“Kat! Right. I remember you. You’re the girl with a handgun, right?” His large carbuncle eyes gleamed from beneath his hood. Wilson loved guns. “I’m Wilson, by the way.” Frowning, he looked around. “When do you think Caelius will come back?” If he returned at all.

"Thanks." Jordan held the offending wing carefully still while Eva untangled the cloak. "I don't know how that happened." He started to shrug, realized that would just rearrange the wings again, and didn't. "They help with balancing, but I hope I'm not going to have to try flying. I think I'd crash." Once Eva had finished getting the fabric unwound, he took the cloak back, this time unclipping it and settling it across his shoulders very carefully, concentrating on keeping his new wings tucked close to his back. This time he was successful, and he was able to pin it without further trouble. That finished, he smiled gratefully at the person who'd helped him and offered a handshake. "Hi. I don't recognize your voice; I assume you're one of the newer trainees? I'm Jordan," he added. "Sounds like you got stuck with the wrong body, too." His eyes flickered to the curvy succubus sulking nearby; he wasn't making any assumptions about who that was. They looked grumpy enough already.

Vanessa, noticing the others putting on cloaks, blinked and realized she still needed to do that. Quickly, she trotted (ohgosh she was actually trotting on those stubby little pony legs why) to the box and took one out, along with the other thing they needed to grab, the weird trap thing.
The next question would be: How was she possibly going to fit her wings under this, and more specifically, how would she manage to get it on in the first place?
She noticed someone, a girl --ghoul-- golem with large feathery wings and what looked like a kimono, having a similar problem. When they requested help, Vanessa trotted in their direction, noticing another figure getting there first and untangling the cloak for the snared golem.
Then, she heard someone say her name. She turned to see a, uh, apparently a carbuncle, according to the person. Whatever that was. "My little sister loves it, so I've seen a few of the episodes." She said, giving her head a little shake. She was so short. So. So. Short. She had to tip back to look at pretty much any of the trainees around her. Apparently she was talking to Wilson, which was good to know. Her tail flicked and curled, her eyes slightly glowing their green coloring and she frowned at her close proximity to the ground. "I know. The ground shouldn't be this close to me. At least when I trip from these weird fee-hooves, I won't have too far to fall." The hooves in question pushed against a rock, the cloven ends leaving a deer-like trail in the dirt under them.
Then she looked down to her own cloak, which was still draped over her arm, and unfurled it, a slightly frustrated look on her face as she tried to figure out how she'd get it on. Vanessa's wings were behaving, pressed to her back and sides rather well, but the claw ends would get tangled on the fabric, she just knew it. It'd be easier for someone taller than her to help her get it on, right? She pulled on one end, but when she tried to get the other over so she could secure it on, her worries came true. The claw-tip on her wing snagged on the fabric. She reached back, straining to touch the claw and it's victim, but she couldn't reach. Why did her wings have to be proportional?! If they were abnormally tiny like the rest of her, she could have reached it, but since she was practically a pygmy, her hang just snatched at the fabric unsuccessfully. "Ergh, could you pull that off the claw-thing for me?" She said, her question directed to Wilson as she pointed up to her snagged cloak end.
Vanessa officially did not like being a three foot tall My Little Pony character. Not at all.
