I've only just now started learning about other music on the Web. As for a dress and clothes, we'd have to work on your budget. It's either we go shopping or we try and find a student with some talent in seamstress-ing to help us. That's going to be a deciding factor." Was he actually helping to plan another date? Wow. He was on FIRE! It just seemed he had a knack for this sort of things.
"Yes. Give her a present as the dress and tell her to wear it for a specific day. It will drive her NUTS to think about what you might be doing for her, and she'll get excited. That's always a fun part of a date. The anticipation. Take her out dancing, shower her with affection, give her a dinner you made from the heart, and pamper her. She'll fill like a Queen and know you really, really, really, in no way to doubt it, love her. You can spend the rest of the evening together winding down after dinner and just be close. I'm sure she'll want to be close and romantic after all that running about. She'll think it's one of the best days of her life."
He beamed at the image and then looked back at Herryk's worried expression. "Come now. I'll help you. I've done this once already, and if you knew the two I helped, you wouldn't even come close to doubting me. I tend to work miracles. We'll find you and Freya something great to wear. Something that will make her feel pretty and happy to have someone as handsome as you by her side on the dance floor." He hopped off the counter and started to examine the boil. "With all the moving about, we'll have the find clothes big enough that won't tear or split once you move about." He continued to look over the boil, lifting one of his thick arms up to take mental measurements. "Hmmm."

"Herryk has a ..comfortable budget," he said mildly. The old witch that he'd stumbled upon when he first woke up in Halloween had set him on his way with a large sum of seeds. He felt guilty for a brief moment. He should check in on Svella. She'd done so much for him, after all. After this date with Freya, he would visit with her. He promised himself.
"This is a good plan," Herryk was excited now. Very excited. Just the thought of Freya going crazy over his plans for her had him all sorts of excited. "This is a very good plan, Calder. Herryk is so glad that he has Calder as a friend. Without Calder, Herryk would have made a mess out of these plans." He was certain of that. Absolutely certain.
"What kind of food does Calder think that Herryk should try and make?" He allowed his arms to be moved here and there like a large doll. "Herryk really does want Freya to feel like a Queen. Herryk loves Freya more than anything in Halloween." He was silent as if mulling something over.
"Even more than Herryk's foxfires."
Now that was saying something.

Calder continued making metal measurements. It seemed when he had to help anyone with clothes shopping, they were all lumpy boils. Herryk was built but tall, composed of muscle, and when Calder had to help Christof, he was muscle and that hump with those arms. They had just about the same problems in clothing when he thought about it. This would take a store with a seamstress of some talent, but at least Calder knew a few now that he went shopping with Christof.
"Hmm. Well, are there any foods you see her eat a lot of, or that she says she likes? How about things she hates to eat? Maybe there is some food from back home she really would love to eat but can't get. I know there are just some things I don't like to eat or can't." Hearts and livers. YUCK!
He stepped away from the boil, raising up a thumb and squinting one eye as if trying to plan his next masterpiece. "Does she eat more meat? Vegetables? Fish?" He wondered if the undead even noticed what people ate.

"Meat."
Herryk choked.
"Jerky? Meat. Cake. Candy. Cupcakes. Vegetables? Potatoes." Herryk rubbed his chin idly as he tried to recall the vast amount of food that was spread out at the wedding. "Herryk is not familiar with most types of food. Herryk does not eat much, usually." He looked slightly concerned.
"Herryk is almost sure that Freya likes all types of food. He will have to think of a sneaky way to ask her, though. Hmm." This was going to take a lot of sneaking and planning.

"Easy enough. She seems like she'd like anything you made then. That means it might be nice if there is a super special dish she hasn't had in a while. Something to make the special occasion even more grand. I could always ask her. Say I wanted ideas for cooking and knew if there were any good dishes she really liked. She wouldn't expect me to be passing it on to you until that date." He leaned back, smiling. "Just don't over think it too much or you'll make yourself sick getting all nervous."

Calder was right, and Herryk knew it. He just couldn't keep from feeling super stressed out about all of this, even though he knew that it would all work out just fine. Herryk was feeling very lucky to have such a friend as Calder, a friend that was willing to help out.
"If Calder were to find out the things that Freya likes, Herryk would be forever thankful. Herryk could ask Hel, but that runs a risk of Hel talking to Freya, and Herryk does not want such a thing to happen." He tapped a finger to his chin, looking thoughtful.
"Herryk is thinking about finding a place to eat and spend time together outdoors? In a very private location. Does Calder know of such a place?"

Calder thought about it a moment. "How about a picnic? You can make her something to eat, put it in a basket to keep it nice and warm, and then walk with her to some special place in the woods, set a blanket down, and enjoy your time alone together."

Calder was so smart. So nice and smart.
"A picnic? This is a very good idea, Calder." Herryk fell silent for a short moment.
"Herryk will gather more information. Freya's favorite foods. Herryk will come back to Calder, or will text Calder or .. skree-mails Calder for advice." Herryk nodded.
"Calder, Herryk cannot express his gratitude for all of the help he has gotten here."

Calder waved off the help as if it was nothing. "I am just happy to help my friends. I like seeing others be happy and in love. It's nice not to be alone." He let his hands brush his kilt a moment, somber for a flicker of a moment. Being with someone meant you never had to be by yourself. He liked that. He didn't like being by himself.
He slipped off the counter, hooves hitting the tiles, as he checked the rolls. They were done, and he took an over-sized fin of a oven mitt and pulled them out, turning the over off. "You can come to me for help whenever you need it." Calder waved the steam off the rolls and let them rest a moment before he went to find the basket he was going to keep them in.
