He arched his head back and howled, his prey was cornered. However, as he was about to leap forward and finally close the distance between them something caught his attention. The bit of ... other that had been following close with his prey grew and changed! The beast sniffed toward it growling low and threatening as it watched the movements of the small fiend. Though not true magic it was something he didn't quite understand for a moment his attention was caught.

The anger, need to render, and claim ran through Coal and a dangerous surge of power pulled from his bond. Like a spark of electricity it surged and his small form torn away as he grew into a more humanoid shape. His features weren't as wolf like as Theirn's but held a few traits that were similar. With a strange little snarl he darts forward closing the distance on Nell and leaping trying to tackle her to the ground.

His own small fiend had grown as well the beast didn't quite understand it but could feel the strange tug on the bond from him. It shook him a little but also exhilarated him. Turning his head he catches sight of Trivii moving to flee out of the corner of his eye and darts forward quickly, a powerful killing machine in the guise of a beast. Claws dart out and he grabs at her waist catching the cat girl's shorts with the edges of his sharp claws. Yanking his claw back there is the sound of tearing fabric as her bottoms are torn away like something out of a cheap werewolf porno. Unfortunately, there wasn't a man in a wolf mask at the other end but instead a beast with drooling deadly fangs that were much too real.

With all the distracting capability of a shiny object to a raccoon, the feminine wisp recoiled, small furry ears of her own flattening as her brows furrowed around narrowed green eyes, as a sound similar to a hiss echoed through her own head as the smaller wisp rapidly changed and his ferocity struck the cord and reacting on her way to the ground she reached down the bond to the quickly vanishing stores of fear and adrenaline propelling her bonded, finding little help there she fell with the dive, eye to eye with Coal, Nell allowed his momentum to carry them into a tumble..

The bite of heavy claws at her hips, swiping away her shorts like so much fluff, the sound of cloth being rent and the painfully halting tug from the intact side cutting into her and pulling her off her axis and forcing her onto her back. Breath is small short gasps as she sprawled back on the dirt of the forest floor, bits of mud from her earlier flaking off revealing flashes of almost white skin where sweat and friction from the assault abraded it.

Staring up at Theirn as he closed in her pupils dilated transforming opalescence to deep blue, and in the ebon darkness of the forest her eyes were nearly devoured in black. As terrified she glanced about, where the hell was the moon. "Theirn.. please. Stop." Her voice came out a tumultuous breathy whisper.

Newly transformed having arms and hands was almost strange along with the rage running wild through his mind. Coal fell with the other tumbling down a small hill nearby disappearing into a patch of pushes with Nell, brambles tangling into his newly formed fluffy ears as he was partially substantial at the moment. For a few moments Coal just stays there partially trapped in the brambles thrashing and twisting captured by limbs he didn't quite understand.

A heavy claw embedded in the dirt near Trivii's head, snarling still the beast snapped moving forward. Somewhere within a touch of reason was sparked though as false dawn started over the area. It was hard to fight the primal urges of the creature within, but some part of his rational human mind was still there. Trivii's small plea broke through in his mind somewhat pushing the need for control more forcibly, head tilted back the Beast howled head jutted back toward the air before leaning back over the female feline, breath heavy his head darts down quickly toward her face. Instead of attempting to bite or feed however the great beast closes his eyes and aggressively nuzzles the side of Trivii's face against her shoulder his large muscled furred body resting closer pressing her to the ground though not quite violently for the moment.

Small growls escaped his throat still, the moon not quite gone enough to allow his human form or mind fully back. Just pinning the slender cat girl down, nuzzling in slow time a strange calmness overcoming him that felt much too delicate as if it could break once again into violence at any moment if the wrong movement or word was spoken.

(And because gaia hates me I lost a two page post. My apologies, I am crying right now. I hit backspace and my browser glitched, took me back to the damn forum. I was correcting a spelling issue, but the post was finished. And the only person to hear my issue, has no idea how anything on forums works so her little customer service reply of "I understand" just pisses me off. Cause she doesn't even play RPGs. Starting this over again is litterally making me sick.)

As her head and body were firmly and thoroughly bracketed between his arm and his body pressing her into the dirt, his muzzle and face so close to her own. Her first reaction, the first thing that she noticed should have been fear. But it wasn't, when she met Theirn she never would have thought him to be powerful.

He smelled musky, rich and dark. Like the forest around them. The brief shard like glint of his eyes in her peripheral were hungry, there was a visceral power about him as she felt his thrumming pulse against her skin. His breath steaming the side of her neck and face. The observation that she wasn't bleeding to death yet was somewhere in the back of her mind as a sense of her little fiend radiated down the bond and the small hairs on her body started to stand on end, out to her left her tail bristled and twitched violently against the ground. Her own heart fluttered in her chest like a trapped humming bird when she took a deep gulping breath.

As he nuzzled and drew back again she saw the silver of his eyes just before he howled, she knew Theirn was in there. Then she didn't know anything as he again closed the distance and assertively nosed her face to the side and began pressing her harder against the ground, nuzzling her in a less aggressive, somewhat inciting fashion as though he were looking for a treat, and not trying to kill her. And her chilled body reacted unconsciously to his warmth as he shifted over her.

The fear was still there, but as her eyes searched the horizon she saw the rosy, blue grey of false-dawn and slowly lifted her hands from the ground, sliding them up his sides until she reached the bottom of his shoulder-blades, allowing her claws to barely kiss the skin under the fur.

She tilted her head a little further to the side, exposing a bit more skin to his seeking, as she drew her knee up against the side of his hip in order to gain a little purchase. A small trilling growl came in response to the noises he was making, almost a purr when using her claws she tugged him closer still closing in and sinking her sharp little fangs into the muscles between shoulder and neck, breaking the skin and teasing her with the taste Theirn's hot, sweet, coppery blood as his skin tore.

Not in a million years did she think she would let a wolf this close. But he hadn't given her much choice, and as the night had run its course so had she. Her eyes were almost navy in the dark, and consisted of mostly pupil when she closed them. Resisting wasn't going to save her, but maybe...

Tangled up with coal, her ears twitched as he started going to war against not just her, but the brambles. This new discomfort from the fall was unexpected, and everywhere, and what wasn't damaged was being accosted by thorns. Her bonded's anxiety had quelled a bit and the female fiend was finally able to observe her surroundings again and through up one bangled arm to protect her face from whatever thorns the dark one had managed to break free.

'Hello there! Are you ready to be reasonable?!' No thought to the situation as long as her foster mother was no longer scared she brushed at the edge of her skirt and the coins there sang as much as her bracelets had. 'I don't know about you but I don't like the teeth on these vines. Maybe we can fight again after we get out?'

Tilting her head she felt a strange pressure in her chest from the bond she shared but smiled through it. As she started working on pulling thorns from her hair.

The beast wasn't exactly sure what it found, it's mind was muddled Theirn's will somehow keeping the great beast's rage at bay now that the full of the moon was not bearing down so harshly on them. With the beast however there were only so many ways you could distract it; a creature of primal urgings and desires it's focus was much less on rendering flesh for the moment. The small female grasped onto it, the beast merely tilting it's head, snuffling against the exposed neck. A low keening sound in it's throat as teeth find their way into the rough sinews of it's flesh. Whatever the small female was it realized it was harming it - though not enough to actually worry, the claw marks from Trivii from earlier and now her small fang marks didn't instantly heal as they normally would.

Slowly the world came back into focus for Coal and he froze, things felt strange he had...arms and hands surprisingly enough. He wasn't quite sure how he had gotten to where he was but the brambles were not very comfortable at all. He blinks in startlement over toward Nell hearing her words, what sort of state had he been in he wondered. After a moment a few flashes and memories of the pull of the full moon came back to him and he cleared his throat, moving to stand up as tall as he could half captured in brambles. 'Why yes finding our way out does sound like the best course, Milady. Apologies I am not quite sure what came over me earlier.' He inclines his head toward Nell the best he can a fluffy looking ear getting caught on a bit of plant in the process. Letting a tired sigh out Coal brushes the plant aside before reaching out and offering Nell a hand up.

'As for these thorns, I believe I have something that will work...' he did have a tool belt, for some reason it seemed very familiar but he couldn't quite place why. Taking a pair of decent sized clippers from the belt he started to cut their way out of the brambles. It didn't actually take too long to get them free, putting the tool away he then turns and offers Nell his arm. He could feel the direction of his bonded but the bond still felt...strange to him for some reason. He wasn't quite sure what was going on but headed toward Theirn anyway. At the edge of the clearing Coal stopped dead in his tracks his eyes widening a little as he looked over to the two guardians. Clearing his throat he glances over to Nell and hurriedly turns them away moving off to the side in another direction. 'There are actually some very lovely plants this way...I would love to see them now that I am a bit bigger. I do hope you will accompany me.' He wasn't exactly sure what the two guardians were doing but it made him feel rather squirmy inside and he was almost positive a gentleman would not walk a lady into such a scene.

The beast nudged the smaller cat girl with it's muzzle curling down around her before pulling her forward against it making low growling sounds each time she bites against it's neck. The large creature's ears twitch with each bite, tilting it's head up it gingerly nips at one of Trivii's ears somehow as if knowing that the smaller creature is not quite as tough as it. Adjusts it's stance, brushing more and more of it's fur against the cat girl, the beast's tongue coming out slicking over her ears and then slowly making it's way along her body cleaning the various wounds she had gained through the night. For a time that is how the beast stayed, laying against Trivii keeping her pinned with it's weight not aggressively but surely in no mood to let her wander off. During the hour of false dawn it nuzzled and nudged her with it's large head, licking over wounds by the time that hour was over it had investigated quite possibly every inch of the small cat girl snuffling curiously with it's nose and licking at times rather invasively.

The change came just as quickly earlier in the night, though much less painfully as Theirn's size shifted and changed a few cracks of bone the face of the wolf and the fur retreating. Still partially curled around Trivii he blinks his eyes still the gold of the beast, panting slightly he looks over at the cat girl he shifts some trying to gain some idea of what had happened. Suddenly a few bits of thought came back to him, and he glanced down noting that Trivii wasn't wearing much and he was wearing nothing. He shifts his body uneasily a moment later as he realizes if somehow he did have pants they would have been feeling rather tight around the belt line. Taking stock of his body he lets a breath out, it at least didn't feel like they had ... yeah he hadn't completely ruined any chance of a possible friendship or more. His gaze drifts to the cat girl, intending to apologize or well do something more like a normal human being but some of the wolf was still there and he felt drawn to the female. His breath hitched slightly as he moved feeling fresh bites on his neck that were not completely unpleasant feeling. Sliding a now human hand up through Trivii's hair he focused a moment on the softness of it, moving to brush fingertips over soft ears before quite impulsively leaning in to kiss her deeply. Somewhere in his mind he was almost certain she would hit him, she did after all have ever right to but he couldn't have stopped himself if he wanted to and truthfully right now he didn't want to.

Feeling him around her, hearing him make the noises that should have been still and small if not for his size. Mouth pressed into his neck she pulled away and repositioned as she started to purr. Something had shifted in the balance, through the musk of the beast she was starting to smell marrow and sunlight again. Her fear had almost completely evaporated as her heart started racing so hard it was painful in her chest.

She felt fragile when presented with his attention, she knew that he could break her, leave her broken and bloody, or devour her inspite of her petty resistance at this point, she had more in common with a keg that had been tapped than she did a preditor. The reactions to her small assaults were gentler still as he sampled the flesh at her neck.

'That sounds brilliant.' Resting her hand in his, she allowed him to pull her upright. Glancing toward the gash in the bushes that had been created by their initial decent. She bounced a little and her eyes tilted in a wicked little smile. Actually glancing down at her new body, observing wryly that she had no legs as she arched her back into the odd sensation of bruising and dusted some grime off her cheek. Tucking some hair behind a slightly furry ear of her own.

She leaned over blinking at the tool belt, 'I'm more pretty than functional it seams. I don't think these are much help. Extending an arm she jingled her bracelets in a self depriciating manner and watched as he clipped them free. Eventually taking his arm and allowing Coal to pull her along. At the edge of the clearing she resisted a bit as he abruptly changed directions, eyes widening as she looked at the duo.. 'Are they still fighting? We should try to stop them.' She felt the tug towards another path and looked into Coal's mortified eyes, and after a moment conceded to go look at his plants....

The attention to her ears, and gentle assuagement to her wounds was euforic, for a minute the cat girl felt boneless in the wolfman's arms, captive and happily so she pull away from where she was worrying at his neck, using quick small strokes of her tongue to sooth the broken skin. As she was pulled firmly against his much larger frame as he tended to her. As the sky grew somewhat brighter his attention moved from tending to identifying, and more than once she felt a small jolt over the intimacy of it all.

Then beneath her hands he started to change, Theirn was coming back, she felt and heard the crack and relocation of bones. She pouted a bit as the hair retreated and he slowly took on his human semblance with its odd dusty, marrow scent. She kept still and searched his face as he performed his inventory. Knowing that he was taking in their current positions, states of undress and likely the tiny punctures left from her love bites and claws. She opened her mouth minutely prepared to explain as his hand slid up along her neck she shivered feeling his long fingers against her scalp, stroking her ears she couldn't stop the subtle trill that came from her throat.

At the first touch of his lips on hers she clung, claws in the knotted muscles of his back, tilting her head and closing her eyes again she leaned into the kiss, breathless. So grateful that it was Theirn on top of her and not the beast that she didn't care, just allowing her body to react. Answers could wait until later.

And this would make one hell of a story.

There was a fierceness and need in him that Trivii seemed to share, Theirn's mind had returned fully though now it was lost in a haze of desires and needs that fogged over and muddled together into blissful sensations fueled by urgency. Even with the touch of urgency in his movements and responses it wasn't for more than an hour into the dawn that he was able to relax back enough to take a shuddering breath and just pulling the beauty against his body. He wasn't even sure he could have stopped himself with Trivii responding as she had and let his instincts take over not stopping until he was certain they were both sated. Shifting his arms some he made sure to keep her lifted off the ground, a satisfied warmth ran through his veins, but now as his body relaxed some he could feel some of the wounds that hadn't healed when he shifted. A low rumble goes through his chest and he nuzzles against Trivii's ears, despite being in human form still having some more animalistic habits; pausing to move his hand to brush her neck over a bite mark he'd left, human teeth marks against her milky flesh. "...so uhm, a shower and breakfast?" Clears his throat, his amber coloured eyes raising to Trivii's ... his brow wrinkles after a moment as he realizes something felt different as well, Coal? - sending out a slight probing thought toward the small wisp of darkness blinks once before looking over the area. "Ah...we should find where the fiends went too," murmurs with a touch of embarrassment at the last wondering where the two had gotten off to and how much they had actually seen. He wasn't worried that Coal was hurt or in danger as he didn't feel any distress from his little charge.

Coal sat curled on a large rock near a stream not too far away but far enough that the, 'sounds' Theirn and Trivii had been making were not able to be heard. He had a carefully stoic expression on his face as he looked over some of the nearby plants and was doing his best to pretend that his guardian did not exist. The little nature walk had ended up needing to go on a bit longer so he had started telling Nell the few things he'd picked up from Theirn's sister Yaxha when she'd visited describing the interesting bits of herbalism he could remember. Already they had gone over the uses for a few different flowers, he had started with the flowers considering that Nell may find them more appealing to look at. His attention was currently drawn to a fern however, 'these are Lady Ferns, very useful for easing the pain of minor cuts, stings and burns...' the fiend pauses a moment as he hears the mental inquiry from his guardian. For a moment he just sits very still almost stubbornly refusing to answer his guardian. The infectious rage luckily was gone but the emotions and strange feelings he'd felt for a few moments after that had caused him to do his best to shut down his link to the werewolf as much as possible.

After a few moments he clears his throat and glances to Nell, 'It seems our guardians may be ... more of sound mind now...' the young fiend adjusts his dress shirt sending a few thoughts back to Theirn a touch of disapproval and haughtiness in Coal's mind voice, 'you are done with your shameless display now I take it?'

Theirn freezes a few moments, mainly because he'd never heard Coal speak so directly to him before. Wrinkling his brow he tilts his head kissing against Trivii's hair trying to remember the night previous more. Some vague memory of the little fiend growing in size but he couldn't really place real features on the other, he speaks in a low voice to the beauty in his lap, "it seems...Coal has grown up." A smirk slides over his features, "he sounds sassy too." Makes an amused sound and carefully balancing Trivii in his arms pulls himself up to his feet pulling the cat girl close to his chest. "Mmm, lets get back to the cabin" feeling some blood start to roll down his shoulder he glances over seeing a bit of crimson, "magic? You stabbed me with a magic blade?" He doesn't sound upset over it just thoughtful turning to walk back toward the cabin with Trivii in his arms. The stab wound from her dagger infused with her magic and the small bite marks over his neck were still visible any other damage from the night had completely healed with his change. "I'm going to ask Coal to bring Nell a bit behind us - so I can find some pants." His voice was calm and frankly the werewolf just felt really good for the moment. 'Coal, why don't you and Nell come to the cabin in a few minutes?'

Coal sends a mental huff of sorts to his guardian, 'very well, just make sure you are presentable.' Sighing a little Coal looks over to Nell focusing his next thoughts toward her, 'it seems our guardians are making themselves presentable - would you accompany me back to the cabin?'

The small aches and exhaustion in the wake of crashing adrenaline was forgotten in the tingle of over used muscles and limb fatigue from an entirely different kind of battle, as the wash of endorphins soothed the low rumbling purr started in the base of her throat as the cat girl stretched only to rest limply against Theirn, nuzzling under his chin and nipping at him, gently this time. Fight or flight forgotten, it was funny, even his scent wasn't bothering her... maybe that was because he smelled like her... or did she smell like him?

Her ears twitched involuntarily as he nuzzled the velvet like hairs along their shell. As his hand teased her neck she noticed the heat of the spot he touched and smiled against him and laughed quietly knowing that he should have an almost identical mark.

"I would love to get clean, and I think I'll be borrowing something from your closet." Her voice was still a husky vibrato, and less sensitive ears may not hear it.

Looking him in the eye she tilted her head calmly and cocked her ears about, "I saw Nell grow, didn't get a good look at her though..." casting a slow glance about she hummed and went back to purring as she chased down that link Nell, you okay kitten?.

I'm fine, Coal is so much more... posh than I expected, he won't let me go back to you, are you done biting that hairy guy? It feels like you're better now. Coal has told me about like a dozen plants.. can we please come back? While babbling in her new mind voice Nell was reaching a hand down to stroke a frond from the lady fern, gently sliding her finger across the tiny rust colored spores on its underside, she smiled at the change in texture looking back at Coal.

Face heating briefly Trivii laughed a little self conscious, "It looks like she's a little spitfire... I think we might be grounded, she saw me bite you." Turning her head she nuzzled into him tilting her head as he loved on her ears. Settling in his arms she brushed at what was left of her clothes and sighed resting against him as he leveraged them up. She couldn't suppress the giggle when he noticed the small rivulets of blood. "My throwing blades are blessedly normal, I think it was the shock I sent through them though, your other injuries look well mended." Tilting her head to the side she nipped at his trapezius again and purred. "Wonder how long you'll wear my mark?"

As they started back along the trail and he brought the children up again she blushed dark and was grateful that he wasn't looking.

Whirling with energy Nell straightened upright and sketched a quick bow to the other fiend. 'Its beautiful out hear, but I think the next time we take a walk I want to bring a basket to collect the pretty things in... We should take the long way if their is one, my foster mother is a little embarrassed that we saw them biting each other.'

Theirn made sure to get them all back to the house, taking the bathroom over with Trivii for a bit of time to make use of the shower and steal her company away with a little privacy for just a little longer. They didn't know each other all that well yet but already Theirn was finding himself drawn to the beauty quite intensely. After the shower things were pretty normal, he saw to getting Trivii some clothing...she had been right and ended up borrowing a few things from him which honestly Theirn didn't mind it meant that he'd have more of a reason to be sure to meet up with her again.

After Theirn's word of warning to him Coal made sure to keep Nell back with him a bit longer. Snorting lightly as Nell mentioned her guardian's embarrassment over the biting. He didn't know exactly what was going on but he was certain that Theirn should be well ashamed of himself for not having more modesty. 'Well we will give them some time,' considers a moment looking over the various plants. 'Would you like to pick some to take back with us? Medical and magical uses aside they are all rather pretty...' he clears his throat a little his gaze drifting to Nell as he askes. After helping Nell with some flowers Coal held his arm out for the shiny fiend and started off back toward the cabin.

The shower didn't last as long as Theirn would have liked, a nagging feeling from Coal disrupted him almost immediately once the two fiends arrived back at the cabin. Chuckling softly to himself more than anyone he leans forward pulling Trivii against him under the water a moment. "Mmm, seems we won't have much longer alone..." pauses as if considering something. "I suspect these marks you left are going to stay quite a while," takes a slow breath and more softly adds, "though when they start to fade you are more than welcome to come and renew them."

Feeling in high spirits Theirn made sure that Trivii had clothing and wasn't actually hurt anywhere. Breakfast came next, between scrabbling eggs Theirn kept an eye on Coal trying to adjust to the fiend's change. The small dark coloured sprite was one thing but the fully able to speak humanoid appearance was more than a bit distracting.

For his part Coal did his best to keep Nell entertained while Theirn and Trivii finished making themselves presentable. He had her help him set the flowers up in a vase before offering to show her the few open rooms in the cabin that weren't being taken up by their guardians and that she hadn't seen. Once Theirn and Trivii emerged from Theirn's bedroom (where the master bath also happened to be located) Coal made sure to send a slight feel of disappointment to his guardian after all Theirn shouldn't be allowed to forget that he was in trouble. Narrowing his eyes toward Theirn he gave a slightly huffy sound.

Setting a plate on the table in front of Trivii Theirn narrowed his eyes toward the young fiend a touch of amusement in his expression. Part of him wondered if he had been so judgemental as a child. 'I think you are just bored, I'll get you something to keep you busy...'.

Unsure what his guardian could be up to now, Coal crawled forward curiously watching as a drawer from the kitchen was pulled out fully from the counter and set down in front of him. The rather grumpy things he was considering telling THeirn dissipated as he saw the wonderful variety o odds and ends. His eyes glitter a little with a smile for a brief moment, 'this will be sufficient...thank you.'

"Anything you want out of there you are free to...just don't start a fire or something," Theirn grins fully looking to the Fiend before moving to sit at the table hoping that the junk drawer would give Coal enough entertainment for the time being and he'd be able to enjoy the other company without being glared at.

After food was over and both the fiends were settled in, Theirn did his best to coax Trivii into napping with him. Taking the cat girl with him for a nice long nap that ended up taking up most the day ... all in all for a first date it wasn't so bad.
