Stubborn boil...

She thought of something from back home, expression reading as some invisible lightbulb appearing above her head when her ears stood straight. It was known that her kin were largely of the poisonous variety as far as dragons went. Her FEAR was just being realized, but it was always a fact that she held venom whether she used it or not at this age. Her constant coughing was a sign of it trying to develop its airborne form.

There was one thing she could do.

Really, Levi had no idea if this would even work. There was a reason young tatzelwurms were told to keep their fangs to themselves, and this was it: a venomous bite that left the opposing party weak in the knees and dizzy to the point of collapsing. She'd seen it done, but obviously never tried it.


But she was going to.


Sliding back off her pillow, Levi kept watch on West, crawling over to him. Look,... there's somethin' I wanna try. Don't git all nervous 'er nothin' on me. I ain't gonna kill ya. Just- trust me 'on'this. Yer gonna want ta'lay flat. As reassurance, she moved quickly, placing her hands over each of his upper arms in clawed grasps. The neck was the typical spot for this- something yada yada about the flow of things... she was an excellent student back home for paying attention to the actual science of it all. Levi leaned in over West closely and, once at his neck, opened her mouth to reveal fangs which bit into him. Her hands kept clenched to the best of her ability, her tail swaying over to the blanketed area of his legs so he couldn't kick up out of the bite.

The venom was apparently a lot easier to control this way. She felt it rise out from her throat like a hot stream of soup or something, across her jaw and through the tiny pinholes of her inserted teeth. It would've just been a tiny bit, really. She unlatched from him within milliseconds. This was only to get him dizzy enough to force sleep on him; he'd already been knocked out once today. She wasn't looking to injure him this time around

Leaning back up, she watched for his reaction, still holding in case ...well... she didn't know what to expect from him, actually. Different folks took it in different ways depending on so many variables.

West?... Testing.. testing...

While the boil took to threatening her, Levi moved back to her pillow, flickering her tail up and over her as she lay down sighing. Holding him down had once again drained her in the short period it occurred. It's just 'bit a reassurance, West. Won't harm ya none. Knowing her venom ran inside him, she was at least more at ease about him leaving. He couldn't even sit up, let alone try to walk out the door.

Levi laid there on the oversized pillows, peering over at the boil to check his status. His eyes were shut at the moment she'd looked, so as far as she could tell, he'd fallen asleep already. With some satisfaction at the effectiveness of her venom, her focus went right back onto her own problems. Teeth clenched when she felt at her side again, leaning closer slightly to see if she could spot the developing bruise. No such luck.

Settling back in comfortably, Levi forewent the covers and just closed her eyes, keeping a hand over her side. It wasn't uncommon for her to speak aloud, sing or dance when she thought she was alone; on this occasion, she spoke. Dang, boil... like gettin' hit with Jackdamn rocks.

Her tail went still; at the drop of a hat, Levi had already entered the realm of sleep.
