"Uh!" He gaped after her. She admitted it so easily then skipped off like what she said didn't change his entire life. Which it did of course. She liked him! And in the same way that he liked her. His pounding heart seemed to calm, but his mind with racing. Should he make the offer of mateship? Was it too soon after admitting his feelings? Would she say yes?
Too many questions, and he was too raw, feeling too exposed at the moment to be so bold again.
"Aella wait..." Tsuzuki chased after her.

Aella giggled and ducked behind another bush. Her head popped out of the leafy cover quite close to Tsuzuki. She winked again. "Gotta catch me, gotta catch me," she sang, and vanished with more giggling. The undercover here was quite good, and for something so very....purple Aella blended quite well. She probably could have vanished easily, but she kept up random moments of giggling and relied on Tsuzuki's determination to win her little game.

All he could do was gape after her. That was it? Really? Aella told him the single most important thing in his life and then went skipping off into a bush to hide like it was nothing. Blinking rapidly, he walked over to the bush and poked his head into it. Honestly he was too shocked to do anything but look for her.
Words would not form on his lips, so when he failed in finding her Tsuzuki just kept looking around instead of calling out to her.

((And that's what I mean by her mood being unpredictable XD ))
Phantom giggling still drifted between the trees. "Come on, 'Zuki, you can do better than that? Don't ya wanna find me?" More giggling, the source drifting from different origins, though not too rapidly.
Tsuzuki apparently still hadn't quite gotten used to her sudden shifts in mood. Well she was a touch fey, wasn't his fault. Hopefully he got used to it though, games were more fun when you weren't staring around in that kind of surprised-vacant way like someone had hit you on the back of the head with a board.
She'd also managed to locate a clump of wild strawberries while ducking under another bush, and had paused long enough to pick the ripest and stow then in her tail fluff before continuing on.

"Of course I want to find you." Lucky for the phim, the constant giggling snapped him out of his fog. there was no fox alive that could out fun Tsuzuki. He was the all time King of Fun, there was nothing he liked more, and nothing he could do better then goof off like a pro.
"I can heeeeaaaarrrr you." He sang happily as he pranced on the ground like a cat on catnip. "And I am going to fiiiiind you!" The curious phim chirped as he lunged at a bush, sticking his head underneath it, "Boo!"
Empty.
"Oooo.....fast little stinker."

A new peal of giggling rang out somewhere beside Tsuzuki, followed by the sound of rustling vegitation. Aella was leading them on something of a zigzag path through the forest, bordering the field of tall grass without going much deeper into the trees.
She'd also wiggled into a bush concealing a small patch of blackberry canes, a highly prickly bush determined to hide it's sweet fruit. Aella made note of it to return later and carefully moved to a new bush without giggling. She didn't want Tsuzuki to find it.
"Come on 'Zuki! If you find me you can have the strawberries I found," she cooed from a new bush, then wiggling along to new cover while giggling.

"Ooo...strawberries..." Tsuzuki licked his licks hungrily, sniffing the air for her. He smiled, catching her scent on the wind. Aella had the sweetest scent, not that it surprised him. It matched her personality, and her adorable appearance. The more he thought about the little vixen, the more he wanted to catch her, hold her close and nuzzle against her soft fur.
"I'm coming..." He called to her, crawling on the ground until he was poking his head on the bush she was hiding under. Lucky for him the combination of her scent, mixed with the strawberry was enough for him to track.
"Got you." He grabbed her with his paws, and scooped her out gingerly.

Aella eeped, then started giggling in ernest. She leaned forward into Tsuzuki's grasp, snuggling into his warm, fuzzy chest. "Nuh uh, I got you," she playfully retorted, warm breath washing over his bright blue fur.
She brought her long tail around, draping it over Tsuzuki's neck with the fluffy end dangling close to his face. She carefully uncurled it enough for him to see the berries. "Lookie what I found."

Tsuzuki looked down at the little vixen and couldn't help but smile at her, "I don't think so." He shook his head as he chuckled, "I do believe that I am the one that got you." His eyes bulged as he spotted the berries, "I thought you smelled much sweeter then I remembered."
The phim teased as he leaned forward and licked one of the berries into his mouth, "Mm....so juicy..." He went in for another one and moaned in happiness as his tail waggled behind him.

Aella laughed with ernest pleasure. "Probably why you got close enough to catch me. I just had to stop and pick the best ones when I found them," she said, teasing but in a warm, fond voice.
It amused her greatly how much Tsuzuki loved berries. She'd have to use that one day. Nothing mean of course! But there were plenty of other plots she could use...
Suddenly blushing, Aella had to pull away from Tsuzuki. He'd gotten all the strawberries, which was good or they'd have fallen to the ground.
'I mean he's cute and sweet and funny and all,' Aella thought, trying to cool her blush, 'But those kinds of plots are for-for...'
Unable to even finish the thought, the blush still flared back up.

"But am I glad that you did stop to get the berries. They were very delicious." Tsuzuki licked his lips as he grinned happily, "Hm?" He cocked his head as his beautiful Aella blushed. "What...?" He smiled softly. Man of man. Did he love it when she blushed. She was even more adorable then she normally was.
"Is everything alright Aella?"

"Oh yes, everything's fine," Aella said, voice a little higher than normal. She suddenly giggled and began chatting, trying to cover up her brief lapse into the land of naughty thoughts.
"Well that was a very fun game! We'll have to try it again another time, without the berry-hunting. It's hard to properly hide and berry at the same time. Speaking of berrying, I didn't get to go through all the bushes. I bet we might find more stuff. After we look at all the bushes then we can go do something else."
'Babbling now,' observed a small corner of her mind, and Aella quickly closed her mouth before she talked Tsuzuki's ears off. She liked his ears, and would be sad if they fell off.

"Oh...more berries?" His ears perked up at the sound of that, "I think that is a wonderful idea." Tsuzuki crouched low to the ground and shimmied his way over to the bush. Though being as big as he was, he couldn't fit under all the way. And he ended up pouting when his paws wouldn't reach far enough under the bush to get anything.
"Aeeeelllllaaaaa!" He whined, "I can't reach them!" His normally more masculine voice took on a higher note do to his incessant whining over the out of reach berries.

Composure regained, Aella giggled and shimmied on the ground next to Tsuzuki. Her smaller body slid through the branches with ease, hardly even rustling the shrub. "Silly, you're gonna get stuck doing that."
She turned as she passed Tsuzuki. "I'll see what I can find. Go take that nose of yours," she pressed her nose against his, then pulled back, "and see if you can find more bushes for me to look under."
Aella gave Tsuzuki a sweet smile, then wiggled further into the bush.

Tsuzuki blushed as the lovely vixen in front of him pressed her nose against him. He couldn't help the strange little flutter in his stomach when he was around her. Aella was....words could not begin to describe how complicated, how wonderful she was. "Right."
"Berry control. I am on that like white on rice." He recited the saying he had heard, not knowing what it really meant or where it came from. Smiling, he pulled out of the bush, then lifted his nose to the air and sniffed. "Mm....this way..." He bounded over to another bush, "Nope." He slid down and sniffed the next one, "Ewww no." He made a face and quickly shimmed away.
