Cara's eye twitched and just like Alex, she slapped her face with the palm of her hand. "So...close. Gotta keep trying!" Dante looked up at Cara, stiff and a bit shaky from the Paralysis. Cara looked down at her feline companion and smiled. "No matter what happens buddy, you've done an awesome job and I'm proud of you." Dante grinned and strode forward as best he could, ready to move on. "Alright then. Lets use Dig once more!"

Alex sighed. He had hoped that the paralyses would have been more effective. And yet Dante had still managed to land an attack. It was time to get back on the offensive, or he was going to loose for sure. "Alright Joltik, lets kick it up a notch! Cross Posion!" Joltik bared his tiny fangs, ready to launch itself at Dante. Alex was starting to feel bad for the little guy. So much of his energy was being used by just getting in range for an attack.

Dante was sent reeling from the attack. He was wincing and struggling to get back up a bit due to the strength of the attack and the paralysis. "Come on Dante, we're almost there! You can do it!" Cara called out. The Persian nodded and stood tall, glaring down at the bug. "Let's try and finish this with Aerial Ace!" Dante nodded and readied himself for the attack. Cara knew Dante was strong, but she didn't know how much more he could take. This Joltik was a lot stronger than it looked.

The black haired man pumped his fist. They still had a fighting chance after all. "One more Cross Poison, Joltik. You can do it!" Joltik didnt have to aim this time, due do Dante paralysis. The bug scuttled over, ready to bite into the Persians paw.

EDIT: Snow, I used Cross poison for that last attack, which is a 12-sided dice roll. 10, 11, and 12 are critical hits. 6 is a normal hit.

Cara growled to herself. "Darn it, dang paralyze." She said as Dante couldn't move in order to attack the small bug. She watched as Joltik made to attack Dante again with cross poison. "Dante dodge it!" She called out. Luckily, Dante was able to move quickly enough and dodge the attack. "Great work, lets try Aerial Ace once more!"

Dante was still paralyzed. Good. They had time to get ahead. But Alex could tell that the Joltik was almost finished. He had to try and recover some of that lost hp. "You are doing great buddy. Leech Life!" Once again the pokemon gained a green glow, body shimmering like a bright green leaf. The exhausted spider, too tired to make a full jump, aimed himself at the Persians legs.

Cara was getting sick and tired of that blasted paralysis, but she knew it had to wear off soon. "Dante, dodge and use Aerial Ace again!!" She was going to keep trying until she landed a hit and knocked out that Joltik. Dante did as he was told and dodged the attack, jumping up into the air. He then started his assault toward the small electric bug.

Alex watched as Dante succumbed to paralysis once more midway through the attack. He sighed. This battle was starting to drag on. But as long as he had the chance, he would take it. Time to move back to the more powerful moves. "Alright then, lets kick back up a notch with Cross Poison!" Joltik scuttled over to the still Persian, tiny teeth ready to sink into his tail, the furthest appendage away from Dantes wicked claws.

Dante suddenly shook off the rest of the static-y charge surrounding him, he was finally free of the paralysis. "Yes!!" Cara shouted. "Ok Dante, you know what to do!" Dante looked up at Cara with a glint in his eye, knowing exactly what she meant. He ran from boulder to boulder, ledge to ledge, his speed increasing with every leap. He then leapt up into the air at an incredible speed and came down at Joltik faster than any could see with the naked eye, slashing at it fiercely.
