He made a swift move once more,aiming for her shoulder to knock her down. His intentions weren't to kill, but to give a warning that the next time she might not get off so easily.

To her annoyance, her reflexes were not up to the challenge of dodging him again, and he slammed into her. With a snarl, she went down onto her side. Her ears flattened against her skull as she bared her fangs at him.

He stood over her like an alpha wolf might an omega that had just stepped out of like. Lowering his head, he gave a furious hiss in her face. "Let this serve as a warning to you." He added with a growl. He stayed standing like that for a moment longer before finally stepping away from her and walking around to watch her a moment longer. He wasn't about to give his back to her again so easily. Opening himself to another attack so soon would be quite stupid.

She growled, suppressing the urge to return his hiss. Patience, Kali, she told herself, silently as she picked herself back up. Losing her temper this time may have been a mistake. Pushing him before she had a feel for his character... yes, that wasn't like her. However, her temper had swept away with her...
She simply couldn't tolerate the tone he'd taken. And he took it again, she'd likely do the same thing again. Next time, though, she'd be ready for his attack. She wouldn't be thrown to the ground like some half grown kitten. Ugh... the humiliation... Disgusting. Even if she'd allowed him to have the upper hand.

She looked clearly irritated. Good, he thought. So long as she didn't start anything further this day he could move on. If she continued though, he wasn't entirely sure she'd find herself with a welcomed place here. "Now.. Would you like to see part of the lands or have you changed your mind?"

The part of her that was nursing a bruised ego wanted to tell him where he could shove his little tour. The larger, more calculating part caused her to lick her paw then run it over her face. She took the moment to calm down before, stiffly nodding at him.
"Lead on," she growled. "And be grateful you're cute."

He gave her a slight smirk. "Cute's for kittens, dear." He chided lightly as he walked on keeping a decent space between himself and her. She was spunky.. it amused him her spunk. After all his sister was spunky and he admired that about her. but Frost also had the ability to know when she'd overstepped her boundaries enough to be put back in her place. in some ways.. this female reminded him of Frost.. and his mother... "You have the upper hand on something.. I don't know your name.. or should I just assign you one?" He purred lightly as he walked. His posture was relaxed.

"You could try asking for my name," she quipped, still not having forgotten his dismissiveness, or the fact that he had gotten the better of her. "Should you try something so foolish as assigning me one, it would be a waste of your time and breath.

He shrugged off her latest bout of cheek, ignoring her attempts to get a rise out of him. So what if she didn't choose to share her name.. with an attitude like that, he wasn't entirely sure she'd be sticking around. His tail flicked as he walked along the land perimeter. The thought of saving his father the trouble and himself the insults of returning with this block headed mare in tow was growing great as he passed along. Why not just run her off now? Save the rest of the pack the energy it'd take.
Smirking to himself he looked over his shoulder. "Have it your way fluffy." He turned his head back around though kept a close attention on her with his ears just on the off chance she decided to get stupid with him again.

"Fluffy?" she arched a brow. "Is that really the best you could come up with, Snow-walker?"
It amused her that he was trying. She was actually curious to see what kinds of insults he could think up. It would also give her an idea of just how much she had to work with.

Hez snickered a moment. "Snow- walker.. that the best you could do? You flea bitten, moth eaten over grown cow hide rug you." His body language didn't show any changes, no anger, no amusement, nothing. He was like a pool of clear undisturbed by any ripples.
Still he walked on taking her slowly a little further into the lands though still not so close as to be in a more or less restricted area. He didn't want to go leading her straight into the heard of the pack just yet, she was still fairly unknown to both he and the rest of the pack. For now.. she'd just have to deal with him.. at least for a couple more days.. just so he could get a better read on this female.

"Much better," she praised, pleased. "You show promise, kitten. Once you put a bit of work into it. One might even be able to train you into being a semi-decent companion."
She followed him, keeping part of her attention on him and the other on her surroundings. Kali was not one to get lost easily, and that was mostly because she always remembered where she had been.

"Trained?" He snorted audibly. "Lets get one thing straight you over stuffed teepee mat. I'm not Trainable for anything you hear me? You are not going to be needing to worry about training me for anything I already know what I need to and I enjoy doing most of it all by myself. The only thing I don't have and can't do alone is produce heirs.. but that isn't any of your concern." He stopped abruptly and turned to face her. "So you see, owl pellet.. Training or attempting to do so would be most inadvisable."

Was that the sound of a challenge she heard? Why yes, yes it was. This just might be more interesting than she originally thought. To train someone this arrogant without him even realizing he was being trained? Yes... yes this would be a fun game!
"And who said I would be the one doing the training?" she asked, smoothly. "I was merely pointing out that you could be, to the right one. Of course, if you're so adamant against it, perhaps not." The insults rolled off her fur like water off a duck's back.

Hez narrowed his eyes some. "Damn right 'perhaps not' I don't need no one coming in a mucking up what I've got going." His tail flicked lightly. He was starting to loose his cool already and that wasn't a good sign. Taking a breath, he let it out slowly, silently and looked around. "We'll camp here for a few days.. get some game.. then move on I think."
