Soulpaw was purring of course with happiness for Cherrypaw, her silent friend. When she had came up and sat next to her, she immediately knew what had happened. Of course she was looking at other people of the clan, glaring with that bright green gaze which seemed to cause other cats to shiver uncomfortably at times. Blinking back, she watched as Cherrypaw was summoned forth to recieve a new mentor. Skylight. What a perfect choice for a mentor. He was a strong and witty cat. One of the bed Shadowclan warriors as far as she was concerned. Getting up she padded quickly after Cherrypaw, rubing up against her friend. "Congrats~!" Moving away her whisker twitched. Why was she still itchy. It wasn't the same itch as before. Shaking surprisingly, she backed away from Cherrypaw and Skylight. Ears laid flat against her head, shaking again. Eyes were beginning to become hard to keep open. Finally whatever was going on seemed to stop as a bright light flashed into her own vision within her mind. The large tabby tom of her dreams was standing before her as she blinked, able to see everyone else. His eyes were watching her. "Tigerstar?" A growl came from the tabby when she said his name. To others it would appear she was mumbling to herself, her forest green orbs dark with shadows. Finally shaking out of it she practically fell over. Looking to her friend she apologized. "Sorry, I'll leave you two be. I've got bedding to do." Feeling awkward she darted away to work on the elders.

He lept down from the highrock, and skidded to a halt besides some of his closest friends. Skylight's chest had puffed proudly; even if this apprentice had suspicions floating around her--the way the clouds seemed to stick to the sun during Leaf-bare, sucking the light from it greedily--she was still a valuable, and good-natured kitten. She had certainly put up well with his mutterings and worries earlier this morning. He nodded gently to his clanmates that tried to sound cheerful and happy for him, smiling kindly enough to make those that hadn't congratulated him shameful. He could see their pelts shrinking a few sizes, and then finally they'd pad up slowly in turn and give him their warmest sympathies at least. He noticed the odd apprentice, Soulpaw, suddenly back away, her ears flat against her head as if she were being threatened or was in pain. "Hey, are you alright?" He stepped forward, but paused. When she nearly fell over, he called out to her before she sped off. "You should see Gooseberry about that!" He wasn't sure if the apprentice had heard him or not. At the mention of his name, the medicine cat poked his head out from his den and blinked at the gathered cats. He had been too busy attending to an elder with a broken leg--he had foolishly tried to climb a tree to prove he was still able to fight to a kit, that he'd protect them--and had henceforth missed the Gathering. He turned to the sullen, shame-faced tom. "You'll defend them more easily on the ground. I doubt any Clan cat would want to attack from the trees." His meow was sincere, and he nodded vigoriously as if to say, 'of course'. "You're very fit for your age. Most elders wouldn't have survived the landing you had. I'll be back shortly; don't eat more than one poppy seed!" He briskly stepped away from the newly determined tom, and blinked at the group of cats once more. "Who said my name?" He asked, pinning them all with his cool, calm green gaze. Skylight's ears flicked in the direction of the medicine cat's voice, and he turned once he realized what he was asking. "Ah-me!" As the cats dispersed, going back to their duties or idle chatter, he had a clear view of his grey-and-white body. "And what is it? You seem fine to me." "It's not about me; I think Soulpaw has been having some--I don't know. She seemed-her eyes were like--shadowed." He kneaded the ground a little, unsure of how to explain the recent events to Gooseberry. "You're not doing a good job of explaining what the trouble is, but I'll go see her. Last I saw she was tending to the bedding of the Elders. No doubt they'll want to hear how Greybeak is doing." He sighed, trying to assure the cat that everything would be fine as he darted away. Upon reaching the elders' den, he sniffed and looked about. "Soulpaw?" He grimaced, and shook his head. He nearly fell backwards. He had seen the ghost of Tigerclaw! He blinked, and it was gone. Now he knew what Skylight had been saying when he meant, "shadows". "Soulpaw, I need to speak with you for a moment. Excuse me, I just need to borrow her for a short while." He called out gently, unable to see in this light but able to scent the irritated elders.

Dapplemoon padded over where she saw Skylight with his apprentice. "Congratulations, both of you. Cherrypaw, you've gotten one of the most easy warriors in the Clan as your mentor." She joked, looking after Gooseberry curiously. "Say, Skylight, why did you call him a few moments ago?" She rotated her ear in the medicine cat's direction.
Mouseclaw stalked around the perimeter of the camp after the ceremony. His thoughts were in the past, thinking of Cherrypaw's father and the trouble he caused. He was unsure about the apprentice, unsure if she'd betray the Clan like her father or bring it glory. Shaking his head, he returned through the camp entrance, grabbing a toad from the fresh-kill pile as he eavesdropped on the conversations of his fellow ShadowClan warriors. The conversations were, in general, the same: Skylight was given the most terrible burden imaginable with the young apprentice. They all seemed to condemn the young she-cat without even seeing her story through the end. And he felt ashamed he had ever had the notion that she would betray their Clan. On his paws now, he buried the remains of his toad before heading over where he saw Barkstar disappear. "Barkstar, may I ask you something?" He mewed politely.

Cherrypaw watched Soulpaw concerned for her friend before walking to her side, pushing up against to her to help her stand. "Come on, Lets get you to the medicine den." She mewed sounding happy for once.
Barkstar turned his gaze to Mouseclaw curiousity before heading into his den, becoking the warrior to follow him so they could speak.

Following Barkstar, Mouseclaw dipped his head respectfully before speaking. "Was the reason why you decided today for Cherrypaw to have a mentor again so that she could become more part of the Clan again?" He asked seriously, concerned for the young she-cat. "I know few who already greatly care for her, but the majority of the Clan seem distrusting of her without reserve."

"Yes, I want her to become part of the clan again." He meowed steadily moving his gaze from the warrior to the entrance of the den. "But mostly because she needs to be prepared." The leader closed his eyes remembering how he had told the clan to never speak of what happened with Darkclaw again but they went ahead and began rumors about cherrypaw. "Her father's body was never found, Crimsonfang's was." He was suggesting that Darkclaw could still be alive somehow leaving the warrior's sacrifice in vain. "Because of that, I fear that young cherrypaw will have to face her father one day." Barkstar opened his eyes to look at the warrior to see his reaction to being told this that only the medicine cat and leader knew.

Skylight nodded to Dapplemoon in a modest, thankful way. His eyes blinked slowly as he grinned at his apprentice...But it slowly turned into a grimace when the she-cat had said he was the easiest. "We'll start training tomorrow, at dawn." His tail bristled at the sudden turn of conversation. That was between Soulpaw and Gooseberry. It was not for him to go about spreading news of the kitten to his Clan. He knew that ShadowClan cats were suspicious, especially after the ordeal with Cherrypaw's father and such, and he didn't want to harm the apprentice's reputation, or mar her relationships. "I just thought Soulpaw might have whitecough--she was a little wobbly and seemed to have a sore throat--it could turn into greencough easily with this weather." He hated lying, but he had no idea how to say just enough to satisfy her, and at the same time keep what he saw to himself. He'd tell Nightcloud the truth, which would ease his mind. His mate was always there for him, and was a sly thing. He grinned at that thought, wondering if the kits would be just like her...It would be troublesome, but as they grew he was sure they would make fine warriors.

Soulpaw had rushed quickly into the elder's den after swiping up the soft moss into her maw. At the moment she was placing the moss carefully where it was supposed to be, making sure it was thick enough for comfort. An elder had complimented on her ability to "do more then other apprentices." The small tabby just nodded with a silent purr as her eyes flistened. Of course there was still a slight dim in her usually expressionate orbs. It was just at that moment her ears pricked up hearing her name. Turning her head in the direction of the entrance, the she-cat's ears flipped a female dog and flattened against her head. Gooseberry was looking for her. It didn't take long for his grey furred form to show up, asking for her. Not wanting to be rude Soulpaw trotted forward, bidding a good bye see you later to the elders. "What to you need Gooseberry?..." Her paws were close together showing her discomfort, her tail low and ears sideways. She was nervous.

Gooseberry tilted his head curiously at the reaction of the apprentice, but he simply meowed, "I need you to come to my den so I can check up on you. Skylight and Cherrypaw both believe you could be sick, or something may be bothering you. I cannot have sickness spreading about the camp like weeds about a flower patch." His wise green eyes betrayed nothing of what he thought. His words were general, and bland to say the least. They showed little emotion except slight concern and protocol. He pushed some poppy seeds that had been lodged between his toes so they wouldn't fall or scatter across the ground towards Farfern, who was complaining about her joints. He'd come back later to give her something else, but right now he had to take care of what was at hand. Without another word, he turned and flicked his tail for Soulpaw to follow, his long, fluffy body weaving between the brambles and into his den with ease. Once they were settled, he shifted his weight and took a silent stock of his inventory. He'd need more poppy seeds, and burdock root. "Sit up straight, it's not like I'm going to claw your fur off or accuse you of doing anything wrong." He didn't growl, nor did he seem irritated, but his voice was firm. Why any cat would be afraid of him, out of all cats, he couldn't figure. "Now, what happened at the ceremony? Skylight said you exhibited some odd behaviour. Your eyes were, shadowed? I believe that is how he described it. I've seen those kinds of things happen to cats who have visions. Don't bother lying, I will not judge you based on what came naturally. I am only here to help and heal, not to accuse or assume or execute punishments...Or anything of the sort." He added, letting his tail curl around his paws. Gooseberry knew how uncomfortable some cats were when they spoke of what they saw; of what StarClan showed them. But, he couldn't let discomfort get in the way of the safety of any cat; besides, this vision could mean something bad was going to happen to the apprentice, and he wasn't going to have any of that either.

So Skylight and Cherrypaw thought Soulpaw was sick? Would make sense with how weird the apprentice was acting. Bidding the elders a farewell she padded off after Gooseberry. Soulpaw was silent with her movements, her paws seemingly causing her to glide across the dirt. It didn't take long to get through the brambles into the medicine cat's den. Letting her ears flatten against her head she sat on her haunches, paws close together and tail curled around her. She looked like a little stuffed cat two-legs carried around. Her large green eyes expressing with her uneasy emotions. Gulping down her nervousness she listened to Gooseberry talk. So they noticed her shadowed eyes. They had been clouded yes. As of now her eyes were just starting to return to their usual brightness. "I can trust you. Well... I don't know what to say and how to say it..." Letting her head droop to the side she thought it over. Looking up at him she started off with a soft mew. "Before mom passed away from what you said was blackcough, I used to see a large tabby with big claws. Mom used to tell me stories to scare me to sleep. Something about a crude cat named Tigerclaw. Then he became leader and became Tigerstar. I've had flashed of him in my dreams. I see him during the daytime in shadows. And he's spoken to me. When mom passed away he appeared more, giving me advice on hunting and fighting techniques. I know he's bad, but I just listen." Soulpaw seemed lost as she spoke. She seemed like she was abandoned at heart. Letting her voice die out she heaved in a breath, her paws kneading the ground. She was uncomfortable. "And I haven't told Barkstar, but my mentor has been missing since yesterday.... It seems whenever I speak about Tigerstar someone goes missing or dies. Mom died after I mentioned him.. And I brought him up with Panthereye." She was uneasy and majorly uncomfortable as she let herself stiffen up and lowered her gaze.

((Sorry, he talks a lot here))
Gooseberry listened patiently, tilting his head every now and then thoughtfully. He didn't interupt, and he didn't glare or growl. He just sat there, and waited for her to finish. He saved his conclusions until after he had his facts. He collected himself and sat straighter. "Greencough, Soulpaw, Greencough. There is no such thing as Blackcough...Hmm..." He murmered, blinking and staring off as if looking into the past, or another time. When he spoke again it was sort of broken as if he hadn't voiced the rest of what he had intended to say aloud, but his eyes had snapped back to attention, no longer glazed in whistfulness. "And, if you had just seen him in your dreams I'd say it was a sign, or symbolic for something else, but since you've seen him in the daytime, and he's been instructing you...Well I'd say his soul is still restless, and thirsting for revenge. Tigerclaw had always thought himself right and everyone else wrong. I doubt the disappearances are related, but he might, might, be luring warriors away somewhere...Or trying to recruit their spirits. We do not know how far his ambitions reach. He has done this kind of thing before, Soulpaw. I can only warn you. He might seem good, or he might seem like he is trying to help you, but in reality he is doing this for some darker purpose. Maybe he knew you in a past life, there could be many reasons as to why you see him, and many more as to why he could be 'helping' you." He pulled away from the apprentice, and blinked around the den. He went over to his stores and began to look for something. "Are you happy being a warrior? If not, that would erase a few of my theories...I would like you not to spread this around camp; cats aren't likely to take nicely to this news, alright? And, if you have any more of these training sessions with him, I'd like you to come and tell me. If you are descriptive as to what he is teaching you, how he is teaching you...If you can speak to him, it would be most helpful. I want to make sure you're safe. Last time Tigerclaw did this he hurt his trainee quite a lot; both physically and mentally to breaking point. He diluted his mind, and made him doubt himself and his Clanmates. I won't tell Barkstar of our meeting or of your visions, but I hope you understand that I must inform him of your missing mentor. If we have a search party and find a body, then it would be likely--sorry, I forget you are still an apprentice sometimes. I apologize, this is nothing a kitten should be hearing about-or worrying about." He added, bringing some catmint in front of him, sniffing it, then shoving it back into the slot. "I knew I put that thing somewhere...Aha!" He came back with a shell, and he had to blow some cobwebs away and wipe away soil. It was like a large pink fist, but twisted. "Every morning, fill this with water. Bring it into the dream world...I am sure you can do it, you just have to hold it when you go to sleep and picture it beside you as you move, or bring it with you if you have a vision. I know you can get a handle on when you have them, because a soul can only enter where it is allowed to be. So, make sure he can meet with you when you want to meet with him, not the other way around. If you get a leash-so to speak- on him now, it'll prevent you from any injury in the future, as far as I know. The shell will help you focus--you'll see what I mean." He moved it towards her, and flicked his tail. "Is there anything else you might need? Do you get stomach aches, headaches? Are you seeing any StarClan cats, or is it just Tigerclaw? I don't mean to ask so many questions, but it is important, and vital if you want me to help you." He shrugged, looking outside his den as a little kit began to cough, his ears flicking involuntarily towards the sound. Great, just what we need. Sick kits. He mentally muttered, letting his gaze settle on the apprentice once more as he awaited her answers.
((We should have a Clan Gathering soon, so Soulpaw and Fairpaw can meet up and Gooseberry can maybe get a warning from StarClan. Plus I could get Russetfeather and Twigtail--and my other ThunderClan cats--to be active))

Sitting there quietly, Soulpaw looked up to set her gaze once again apon Gooseberry. The medicine cat knew far more then the apprentice had given him credit for. He was amazing and that just brightened her view on the grey tom. It was amazing. How could a cat know that much about something far off beyond themselves in time. Then again Soulpaw reminded herself he was one that had a strong connection with starclan. He had to know a lot. Was it expected of him? That was a good question but it wasn't the time to ask. As the silence was interupted by more speaking and advice. Listening carefully, stripped ears were pricked forward in full interest. So Tigerclaw could be trying to get her to trust him, so he could use her later on down the road for something evil. That was nasty and plain horrible. Remembering the horrible stories to get her to sleep, she shuddered. There was a feeling she was now being watched. Fur bristled and her eyes darted to see what in Starclan was going on. There was nothing. Fur lieing flat she relaxed as now Gooseberry brought forward a shell. The instructions were interesting. So Soulpaw was to fill the shell up with water and bring it to bed with her. If anything happens she was to go to him. Sounded good to her. Then another question. "A tortioseshell she-cat with green eyes like mine. I think she said her names Tawnypelt. I've seen her with Starclan. Her an another cat. He is always blurry." Was it a good thing or a bad thing. "Oh, and with Tigerclaw, I've seen a dark tabby with sky blue colored eyes. Never seen him close but just hidden." Getting to her paws at the sound of a kit coughing, she bowed her head. "Um, I shouldn't be taking up your time. Bye Gooseberry." Picking up the shell in her jaws carefully, she uneasily left the medicine cat den.
(I agree. A Gathering would be amazing xD )

Mouseclaw growled, fur starting to lift from the audacity of Darkclaw still living. He forced his fur flat with as much restraint as he had. "If he shows himself here and tries anything, to anyone, I'm going to shred him--and kill him if need be." He looked at Barkstar, wanting a reply. No one was going to harm their Clan, especially Cherrypaw after all the trauma she went through because of her own father.

Cherrypaw tilted her head at how Skylight became more serious so suddenly but nodded that she had heard him, her ear twitching in the direction of the medicine den. She was worrying for her friend since Soulpaw seemed to be the only apprentice who liked her enough to talk to her. Barkstar purred in amusement at the warriors loyality to his clan, "If he is alive, I'm sure his not foolish enough to return to Shadowclan alone." He meowed his tone becoming more stern now that he was speaking of the murderous warrior again. "Best for now, you do not mention this to anyone else. Speically Cherrypaw, it's best she thinks her father is dead." He turned his gaze from the warrior to just outside his den able to see the apprentice looking towards the medicine den.

Gooseberry's ears twitched in uncertainty. She hadn't answered all of his questions, but at least she had answered enough for him to exterminate some of the possibilities he had come up with. She had been seeing all of Tigerclaw's kin...And it could mean she is a decedant of him, but it also supported his rather wild idea that he knew her in a past life. But, he could also be trying to recruit her because she might be the only cat possible of putting an end to his evil. He chewed his bottom, furred lip thoughtfully. If that be the case, then she could be in grave danger. Not just from the dead, but from the living. Tigerclaw was always very charismatic, at least from the stories he had heard. He had also been warned, when he was still an apprentice, being told the truth of his actions...At least she'd seen some of his better relations, and StarClan, but it was...Hard to figure out. Only Soulpaw would know what each turn of events would mean, since it was her dreams. He would only be able to guide her through this rough patch, and he bustled out of his den to inspect the coughing kit. He couldn't have any sickness spreading within his Clan. It was not a good sign. In any event, he'd have to send an apprentice out. Once he was finished with the kit, he sighed in relief. He just had a sore throat from dust and debris, easily cured with some honey. Gooseberry finished his immediete duties, and padded over to Barkstar. "May I speak with you, Barkstar?" His green eyes were steady, and gave nothing away of the urgency of a certain matter. He'd want Soulpaw assigned a new mentor, if not himself, then a strong, and wise old warrior who wouldn't back down from a challenge...And would protect Soulpaw with his life, instead of turn on her at the moment he saw his life was in danger. Gooseberry would also have to inform Barkstar of the disapperances. Everyone seemed to be a bit too busy to notice a few absences, since cats were always out patrolling, training, nursing, hunting, or running errands. But soon, he feared, the drop in population would start to be transparently clear; which would only cause trouble. Fear is not something a Clan cat should have in dire situations, unless they knew how to control it of course. But in most cases, it only twisted the mind, changed ideas and morals to make them unjust and wrong.
((I forgot the prophecy, should I make him have it though? Like, suddenly freeze and such?))
Skylight nudged Cherrypaw. "Well, I think it best if you continue aiding the elders. I'm going to get some more moss for Nightcloud before it gets too dark. Tomorrow I'll teach you some hunting techniques I think you were neglected in." He purred, and padded away happily.
