Aw, Jack bless the ghouls caring, still beating heart. "No no, I'm fine really, just coughed on some water." he insisted and took another big gulp of water to combat against his parched throat. He didn't even hear nary a chuckle from the ghoul at his actions during the lunch service, if it was him, there was a high chance he would be laughing up a storm under the table and its fine pressed linen.
"i have to say, i'm surprised with how frank you were with out waiter." he said absent minded-ly while buttering up a piece of toast that was conveniently left at their table and offered it to her before continuing on."it was so catty and cool, you surprise me at every turn. Did you learn that from dealing with your twin sister?" She seemed like the more mature and motherly one, even if he didn't really meet with the other one yet. "How about the real question?" he said with a smirk as he leaned in to the ghoul. "Who's older?"
Meanwhile, the door to the kitchen remained shut, other than the yelling from the back that filtered into the room, much softer than when you decided to go to the nearby adjacent bathroom.

Needle breathed a sigh of relief. "Good, glad to hear it." The hand still holding is gave a little squeeze, her fingers adjusting to sit more comfortably within his. It didn't last long however, as his hand slipped away to do something; she wasn't quite sure what it was at first. His roundabout compliments made her blush, her hands coming up to rest against her face; gaaaah she needed to stop doing that!
"A-ah, I am please you think so!" She gushed, wiggling for a moment in her seat. Unfortunately his offered bread was ignored, but likely because she didn't see it. Actually, that was exactly why it was ignored; she didn't even tilt her head down to look at it. "But, ah, is that so surprising?" She seemed completely surprised, the more she thought about it. "Mmm...no, I did not; Believe it or not, at home I am considered a wild child." But now, out in the real world, she felt really silly to be holding that title. Any infant was a lot more wild than she was, but back home? She was blasphemous.
"But ah...I am no stranger towards the anatomy of genders; we are raised to be comfortable with the idea, however we have no use for intimacy or lovers or sex...it distracts us, and may lead to our downfall." She murmured sheepishly, folding her hands nicely on her lap. There was something in the way she said the latter part that suggested she was repeating someone else's words, that she didn't quite agree, or at least wasn't sold on the idea.
"Although I have been learning a great about this 'forbidden' act." HOW she was learning, she never said. "I also recently learned it was possible to pleasure yourself!" Here she seemed quite proud, and with good reason; she was learning! "Of course I have not attempted, but the logic behind the act seems sound." Head tilting, the ghoul mused on what Petro had told her; it was difficult for her to look thoughtful, but somehow? She managed to do it.
But, as Demi leaned in, Needle felt that heat return to her cheeks. "Mmm...Between my sister and I? I am the younger." The boil's closeness shouldn't have had an affect on her, but there she was, taking note of everything rapidly; his scent, his body heat, the way his clothes ruffled as he moved, the tone to his voice that just sang volumes about the to-her-unseen smirk on his lips.
"A-and yourself, Demi? How many years do you have behind you?"

The loss of contact was brief, but still noticeable when Demi began to butter a piece of toast idly. Needle knew how to hold a conversation quite well, even her actions were adorable. Her positively charming actions made him blush just as furiously in return as he took the piece of toast and placed it on his plate. The dainty ghoul must not like carbs he figured.
They sat there chatting away as Sebastian watched from the porthole in the kitchen and practically swooned over their charisma together, clutching onto the door with a heavy sigh escaping his lips. "Ah.. sweet young love, how beautiful but fleeting it is." he cooed from his enrapture with the live action drama unfolding. "And where the hell is that appetizer you horrible little gremlins, hurry it up before the magic is gone!" he screeched out from the lack of a sense of urgency from the kitchen staff. Now they were screaming in horror as running a mock with pots and pans clanging away to get the finishing touches done. And yes, they actually were gremlins.
As the time passed, the hound nibbled away at the piece of toast , unlike the ghoul, a boil's appetite was much more voracious and instead of shoving his face into the bowl, restraint seemed like a much better choice in company. "You, the wild child?" he asked incredulously. There was just no way, "if your so wild, I'd hate the see the most proper one from your tribe." he said offhand before taking another bite from the buttery toast and chewing on it thoughtfully. "Needle, the wild child." he snorted softy at the thought again in disbelief.
And then he found out why she was considered that. 'the Anatomy of the genders?" he said quietly, wracking his brain at what the ghoul meant and tried to look her in the darkened shadow covered eye to figure her out. She couldn't mean...... NO! "Your downfall, a distraction?" he said yet again in confusion, there were so many questions to ask the engraver about the nature of her clan and the hound put down the half eaten piece of toast once the topic of the "Forbidden act" was brought up.
"I can't imagine why it would be forbidden, our clan has days where the need is so immense, individuals must partake in the act or... deal with it themselves.' he said in a shushed whisper. Never in all his days did he think that this topic was going to be touched while he was away from home. Not even in Sex- Ed! the hound felt the need to wpe his hands on the napkin after talking about it, all the while Melas chuckled in the recess of his mind about the act of mating, like the lecher he was.
"Oh....that sounds like something that had your interest." he muttered quickly, shocked at the casual talk of fornication at the table and the solo acts that went with it. Not that he knew how it worked between the sexes. Needle was a wild child indeed. He didn't feel the need to ask her about the source, especially as the demonic waiter came into the range of view from his green eyes and quickly turned to see what horrible idea he had now. "Oh look our appetizer is here!" he said all too cheerily and gave the ghoul a tiny smile for being able to stop the talk of sex at the lunch table before Sebastian tried to close the restaurant up for them.
Oh that customer service, he bet the demon would take that the wrong way.
Once the little bell on the kitchen service area chimed, Sebastian went from eager face to excited face and whirled over to grab the plates without even a thank you to the gremlin cooks and out the door he went. The Incubus was on a mission as he deftly strode from one table past another to the meals destination and looked positively beaming when the monster boil acknowledged him. "yes yes, and how are we getting along hmm? i hope you two can break away from one another long enough to enjoy your appetizer." he all but purred out to the duo as he placed the plate down in front of the ghoul and then the boil with a flick of his wrist.
"Today we are offering a beautiful chainsaw butterflied scallop, sauteed in butter with a ruby floresce sauce and a small herb salad with Eyetalian light dressing." he explained without missing a beat and refilling the boil's half empty glass of water back up to the brim without even spilling a drop "please enjoy while I get your main course ready." and with a effeminate bow, the incubus was gone again.
Sebastian was if not, a demon with grace and a flair for passion, if not to a fault.

Needle had paused, mysteriously, as something caught her attention - a screech from the kitchen area. She couldn't make out the words, but she did peg the pitch as the Waiter's. Oh dear, that did not sound good - but alas, the conversation continued and the brief pause was long forgotten in lieu of talk about sex and clans.
"Yes, believe it or not." She giggled, still amused. It was embarrassing now that she knew there were worse things than asking too many questions and being too curious, but it was still a fact. "Perhaps one day, I will take you home." Where he could see how uptight her clan elders were, and by proxy her clan members. "And yes, a distraction and downfall; there is a story we are told as we grow that tells us so, but...that is a tale best kept for later." The ghoul simply remained seated beside him, staring ahead of her with a slight body tilt towards her companion; her hands, when not gesturing, always remained folded neatly on her lap at a distance that would not hurt either of them.
"Nn, so I have come to understand. A curiously foreign topic, however...I do apologize, perhaps..." No sooner was she about to finish apologizing than Demi announced the Waiters return. She recognized the sounds of that particular stride, the tittering yes yes habit of his. The ghoul remained outwardly impassive, but behind her mask? She was rolling her eyes.
After a moment's contemplation, Needle turned her head more towards the boil she was seated beside. "Are all restaurant workers as ridiculously assuming as this one?" She hoped, sincerely, that the waiter was still within earshot. Still, curiousity got the best of her, and after a moment of blind (haha) groping, she found a fork. Sigh sigh sigh, always making it difficult. As she set to figuring out where everything was on the plate with a dainty fork stabbing, she gave a little tsk.
"You did not answer my question." She chided in amusement, a smirk playing on her pale lips. "Unless it is rude to ask one's age, of course." The ghoul added as an after thought, still gently prodding the food on her plate with her fork.

Yes, thank Jack for appetizers. it was the perfect way to stop the pup from saying something embarrassing. "I would like that Needle, we could spend the day laughing at their silliness." he replied back softly and with a careful touch, guided her hand to the glass cup for later. Last thing he needed to see was her having a clothing malfunction. if her clan was as bad as she claimed it was, it was something that he needed to see for himself.
he still didn't bother picking up a fork to try the dish yet, but cradled his chin with a palm and watched the ghoul in front chatter away. "its no problem." it was like a reflex to say such a thing, always apologizing for something. Thankfully the waiter was gone in a flash soon after dropping off their plates. "I have to say, the way you see the world is pretty interesting." even the light scratches made on the plate wasn't enough to bring the canine from the bashful swooning of the engraver.
"Maybe he just needs to learn some of that self pleasure stuff that you know, sis." that smirk worked both ways and not even a new sibling was safe to it. "I'm at the prime age of 15, so old." he offered with a casual flick of his arm, mostly to the waiter that was peeking around the corner like a creeper igor. "how about you and your twin, if I may be so bold?" Yep, leaving behind the polite chatter behind there.
To be honest, it went out the window long before this.

"From a distance, it would not be good if they heard me." Regardless of the danger she would be in for laughing, she still found the prospect rather...interesting. The ghoul didn't stiffen when he touched her hand, instead putting her faith in him and allowing him to lead his hand where it may. Ah! The water glass! "Thank you~!" She left her hand around it, but drifted her index finger up to find the glass' lip before bringing it to her own, taking a light sip; but instead of putting it down, she looked in it's general direction in what might have been curiousity.
"Ah...thank you, Demi. However, I am only half as interesting as my company." That tinge was back on her cheeks at her shy 'confession', if you could even call it that. Suddenly her glass seemed remarkably interesting, and that was about when something a little unusual happened; the hand on the glass seemed to darken and for a moment looked almost slick, and a moment later she set it down, pulling her hand away to reveal faint traces of inky fingers. She was getting tired of trying to find the food by touch alone, but she didn't quite want to take drastic measures to see yet. The glass was picked back up after she was convinced she could see it properly...and nearly choked on the water at her 'brother's' suggestion. Needle coughed out a giggle, her free hand raising to wipe her mouth only to nearly stab herself with her own spikes.
"Ow!" She giggled, retracting her hand and setting the glass down. "Perhaps he does! Someone should teach him." Needle grinned, patting the table gently to find the cloth to wipe her mouth; no dice. Dang! "Please, do feel free to be bold." She encouraged; no need to stand on protocol, being bold was a great lot of fun! ...As long as nobody's getting hurt, anyway. Then it becomes a sport! "Oh yes, so old...but we recently celebrated our sixteenth year." Making her probably only slightly older? Well, age didn't matter to her, it never had.

"Well if I'm going to be bold." he left the sentence hanging and slipped the napkin into Needle's searching palm. Even with all the boldness in the world, it wasn't going to stop him from suddenly staring into the depths of the plate and the scallop that sat there patiently, awaiting to be relished much like the demure actions of the engraver.
The pleasurable sounds of clinking silverware, the soft chime of glasses touching the tabletop, it was like a symphony for the two of them and the sweet butteryness of the scallop on his palate was enough to have Damien moaning in bliss, eyes tight and savoring the bite and away from the strange swirling inked fingers of his lunchmate. "What do you think of the bite, Miss Porcupine?"
And Sebastian was left clutching onto the banister of the reservation desk in sheer anticipation. And annoying the poor demon at his post. "Shoo, you damn annoying gnat."

"Mm?" Was all she questioned about the way he trailed off, distracted by the napkin put into her hand...for now. She dabbed the water from her face and gently touched the fresh scratch she'd given herself; ah, no blood, good! The napkin disappeared onto her lap, and managed to get the scallop not only into her inky hands, but also into her mouth and...aahhhhh!
"My jack this is delicious!" She keened out in bliss, tilting her head back to just enjoy what she had. "It is the best thing I have ever tasted to date!" It was matter-of-fact coupled with the residual bliss from that savoury piece, and she tilted her head down to look at her companion. "I am so glad you talked me in to this!" She beamed at him, then down at her plate, then back up at him. "I wasn't listening to our host, what is this godly food called?"

It was amazing how simple things could be so interesting. "I'm glad you like it." Damien said with a sigh of relief before taking a knife to the scallop and cutting off a portion to chew on delicately. "I was worried when they brought it out, that you might not like seafood."
It was one more worry off his mind as he relaxed his shoulders more and began to really enjoy the meal. he wasn't one to give up control of a meal to one of the workers, but Sebastian did say leave it to him and so far, it was going well.
At least culinary wise. "Its a sea scallop, its something that lives in the ocean in a shell, its good right?" he yipped up happily and took a gracious sip of the glass of water. "I think its cooked in some type of sauce and served to us as is." It didn't even dawn on the canine to ask earlier as he gripped onto the fork tensely. "Just in case, you're not allergic to anything, right Needle?"

"I believe I had sushi at the eating contest, I am okay with seafood." Needle reminded him sweetly, being careful and slow as she ate. "It is fantastic." She stressed happily, being careful to turn the needles in her arm closer against her own stomach as she nudged him with her shoulder, smiling away.
"I...am not sure, to be honest." The ghoul hummed, chewing thoughtfully on another scallop for a moment. "I will inform you if I feel any changes." She promised, setting her utensils down and finding her napkin to dab at her mouth. "So, Demi...when we are alone enough, I would like to hear of your extra personalities." To save him, since she recalled there was a small issue with being alone while he spoke about it, she kept her voice low, gently leaning against him to keep the conversation between them, and not anywhere near the prying ears of their unwanted nag.

" Oh right! How could I forget that, you're weakness is sweets!" Demi barked out in mild shock at his stupidity. that horrible slice of cake looked horrible from the sidelines, he couldn't imagine what it was like up close and personal. But none of that mattered when Needle smiled at him like that, it just made him want to giggle like a scareling again.
The meal was nice, and that waiter was keeping its distance so that was a big plus, and the appetizer was delicious. As Long as Sebastian was busy with the main course preparations, he was happy. "Well, I don't see why not." the hound replied back and placed the utensils down on the plate. "I never expected someone to be so interested in ...... what goes on in my head." he said solemnly, he always considered it to be something odd and weird to anyone outside of his clan, it was like bearing the core to his fear to the ghoul.
"Well, how do I start?" he muttered lowly and began to fiddle with a nearby napkin as the explanation continued at the quiet establishment. "Those in my clan have more than one personality, normally an extra two, I haven't been able to talk to mine save for one." the hell hound managed to say in a big rush of words until the phrase ended with a heavy sigh.

"Mm." Needle agreed with a nod, placing an ink-stained finger against her bottom lip. "I believe that would be considered my super effective weakness?" She mused, trying to remember if that was right or not. Shrugging she gave the Pup her undivided attention once more, no longer eating to make sure that nothing would distract her.
"I am very interested in you!" She reassured him, even turning a little in her seat to turn a little more towards him. While he started his explanation she pondered the implications, but was mostly fixated on how interesting it must be to have two selves...or how frustrating it would be, if they never agreed on anything. As a twin she figured she had some sort of double voice, but hers was an entire other being, not just...a sound.
"And yours are unstable?" It came back to her; he said he might get shunned because of it...? Sadly, she was full of questions. "What is your extra like?"
