  Eros + IsisEros gasped as he and Isis were grabbed by the giant watery hand, "I'm gonna drown! I just know it! I'm tot-" Isis' panicked words were cut off though as they all were dragged down into the depths.
"Nnn...What, was that?" Eros asked as he floated back up, he then noticed Isis wake up as well as they looked over the side, "You gotta be kidding me."
Isis then growled at the lack of sight she had, "Oh great."
Eros meanwhile noticed the bright doorway and gasped, "Is that the exit?" He asked the others excitedly, ready to finally leave this strange place.
Isis just muttered some curses under her breath, "Guess we need to cross." She looked around carefully, it couldn't be as simple as walking.
Could it?

  Harumi - Aiden
Harumi sighed, looking at the road before them.
"I'll go first, cuz' I'm the smallest..." She said softly.
"Aiden should go last. He's too big, if he goes before someone, they might not be able to see and could take a wrong step."
Harumi had a very good point, there.
"Alright, let's go, then," Aiden replied, stepping behind the group.
They began to move, Harumi > Isis > Aiden.
Eros could fly, so he could do whatever he damn well pleased.
As soon as Harumi too the first step onto the pathway, though, a large rumble sounded and the earth shook.
A bit of the wall behind them began to crumble.
"... New idea! Get across as fast as possible without dying!"

Eros + Isis Isis nodded at Harumi's suggestion, "Smart idea Harumi." She was glad that at least someone on this team had brains.
Then again how old was the Eevee anyway?
Eros just floated alongside the other three, slightly glad at the fact he was a ghost, though he did lose out on a lot of experiences due to his floating ability.
As soon as the quartet heard the rumbling sound though he panicked, "What if I fall?!"
Isis rolled her eyes as she followed closely behind Harumi, "You can float idiot." She glanced at the crumbling, "...I knew it was too simple!"

Harumi - Aiden
"Come on, let's go, hurry it up!"
Aiden shouted orders from the back as he mushed the other Pokemon onward.
They were number one priority, his own safety didn't mean jack s**t compared to these kids.
The group managed to make it half way across without too much of a problem. The bridge hadn't started crumbling away yet, but it was easy to tell by the crack forming in it that it was coming close.
"... Go!"
As Harumi, Isis, and Eros began the home stretch, the Eevee noticed something.
Aiden's calls had ceased.
She immediately wheeled around, spotting the Umbreon.
He was standing in the middle of the bridge, staring out to the side.
There seemed to be another path right in front of him splitting out from the side of the bridge, a path that wasn't there before.
It ended with a circle of land, held up by a pillar of rock.
On it was a clump of dark blue fur.
Closer inspection revealed it to be an Umbreon.
Around its legs and neck were the same markings that Aiden himself bore.
The blue Umbreon wasn't breathing.
"... Kurtis?"
"Aiden, no!" Harumi cried out.
But it was too late, the Umbreon had already broken into a sprint across the new path, clutching the body of his dead clansmate in his teeth and throwing it onto his back.
"I-It's okay, Harumi! I can make it!" Aiden cried as he began to slowly walk across the bath, back to the original bridge.
Behind him, the earth began to crumble away at a faster rate than his walking.

Eros + Isis Isis was glad the path hadn't started to crumble away yet, that was a good enough sign. Though the Smoochum doubted it would hold for much longer.
As the group shuffled further along at a decently quick pace (except for Eros who just floated along) Isis noticed Aiden wasn't behind them anymore, in fact he was running off at a side-path.
Isis would have face-palmed if she wasn't currently using her arms to balance on the thin path.
Eros noticed the crumbling which seemed to start as soon as he picked up the...Umbreon? Even Eros was able to put two and two together, "Oh my Arceus."
Isis just shuffled faster, "What the heck is he carrying anyway?"
Eros just shook his head, "Aiden! At that rate the path will crumble before you can even make it!"
Isis just looked up, "...What if this is a test. What do you thi-" She wasn't able to finish as Eros floated quickly over to Aiden.
Eros just had a glint in his eyes, "..The path. Why would that Umbreon be here? at this moment Aiden?"

Harumi had made it to the other side, but wasn't safe yet.
Parts of the cliff that held the large bright door were also starting to break away.
"Come on! We can't wait anymore, this whole place is gonna collapse if we don't get outta' here, RIGHT NOW!" She exclaimed above the noise of the wreckage.
Aiden seemed like he was ignoring Eros as he turned the corner where the two paths met and began to slowly trudge up toward Harumi and Isis.
Not far behind him at all, the bridge was crumbling.
The lack of bridge was coming closer at an alarming rate, but Aiden didn't seem to be willing to abandon the body of the Umbreon.
There were tears streaming from his eyes.
"N-No... I wont leave him... Not again!" He cried out.
Just the sound of his cries were agonizing.
"I WONT LEAVE HIM! EVEN IF I HAVE TO DIE PROTECTING HIM!"

Eros + Isis Isis grunted a bit as she finally made it to the end of the path, she was just thankful that she wasn't on such thin ground anymore. Though the thought of safety quickly fled her mind when the ground the Smoochum and Eevee were on started to crumble away, Isis looked towards the doorway to what was hopefully the exit.
At this rate they wouldn't even make it, even if they started to sprint right now.
Eros just huffed as he was ignored by the apparently grief stricken Umbreon, he noticed the body Aiden was carrying wasn't even breathing, like it wasn't even alive in the first place.
The Misdreavus then thought back to the change of the place from a snowy hellhole to a forest, if that happened....this weird place, must make illusions happen.
"It must be hard to abandon him. But! Why would he suddenly appear out of nowhere?" Eros just growled a little, "What would he want? For you both to die here? Or for the one who was capable and breathing to survive?"
Eros just glanced at the crumbling path, "Even Harumi will die if this continues!"

Harumi - Aiden
A decent burial, Kurtis deserved that much!
Here Aiden was, struggling to move as he carried the body of his dead clanmate.
He couldn't fail this Pokemon, not again.
As he sluggishly moved, Aiden felt one of his hind paws slip.
The deterioration of the bridge had made right behind him.
Time seemed to stop, right then.
Everything froze, all the Pokemon.
The only thing still running was Aiden's mind.
He could save them.
Aiden could use the speed of his Faint Attack to save Harumi and Isis.
But what about the Umbreon on his back?
Aiden couldn't just leave him, not again!
But... he had to...
If Aiden died here, his clan would be completely forgotten.
And Harumi... He couldn't leave her.
She was too young to die here.
"... I'm sorry..."
As time seemed to start back up, Aiden tilted his body.
The dead Umbreon on his back slid off, falling down into the bottomless abyss.
The still living Umbreon reached out, grabbing one of Eros' hair-like tendrils in his teeth and shooting forward with a Faint Attack.
He knocked Harumi and Isis up onto his back and sped through the doorway as fast as he could.
They were to be returned to reality.
