I didn't misunderstand. That was simply my overly cynical view on the subject. I get like that from time to time. It's nothing to worry over.

For anyone who's interested, you can let them know I do Beta work now as well.

It's nice to get a preview that other's don't of writing. Really it is.

Like right now, I'm doing beta work for my beta. It's her first story posted on Dokuga and she's only written about six chapters but I've already read up to five.

It helps that she's a fan of my writing.

As writing is my main focus, that's a given. As for role playing. I dabble in it so that's fine. The real question is, what's going to be the focus. To be honest, even as a writer I rarely go to the writing section of this site. I'm more likely to ask a question on Dokuga, because most if not all of the community on there write something. Not to mention they aren't as... arrogant... that's nor really the word I'm looking for but it will do.

For the most part, the writing section I've found on gaia is a mixed bag. Most of them are nice, or aren't quite so big in the ego to be outright rude but it's like a lot of other places.

Then you come down to the roleplaying portion. As I said, It's not really my business. I mess with it, but other then that it's just something to kill time between writing and watching movies or reading. So that's up to you. As it stands, I could act as a moderator in the writing section. Though I wouldn't plan on it ever getting to busy. Even if the guild did take off.

It a problem everyone has. I've noticed that a lot of other guilds, the big ones anyway are often focused on something with a decent following. Something else I've noticed, is that...

Well, let's use the multitude of Naruto RP guilds out there.

They don't actually have that many members, not really. Because 75% of the members of each guild are in every other guild. There are lots of other fans out there but it's just the fact that most don't get that into it.

The same can be said for writing. While it's something a lot of people do, most are solitary, which is how they got into writing in the first place. Not to mention that there are other sites dedicated solely to writers. I'm a member of a few. I'm more likely to take questions and concerns there, because they have staff that are there just to support writers.

Now, it's not that you're bad as a captain. It's that you haven't found something that people really want to be a part of. I have no problem hanging around chatting with people, or even getting into conversations like this. I'm mostly loyal if I want to be involved with something. For instance this.

In the end, I'm horrible at finding people to join. Because for the most part I just go around asking. They might join for a few days then vanish. They really need a shrug emoticon.
