The ghoul looked back up as Herryk leaned forward and smiled at her. She tried to offer a smile in return, especially as he tried to reassure her, but it just didn’t reach her eyes. “Meh…I hope so.” She murmured, giving a small shake of her head. “…No, it is not I who is helping you…it is very much you who is helping me. Thank you.”
Hel gave a short laughed at his next statement and rolled her shoulders. “I wish it could say it was nice…the recent events here at school make me not want to go even more.” The valkyrie admitted and then shrugged. “What can you do though, eh? An obligation is an obligation…” Hel trailed off for a moment before shaking her head again, and this time she shifted her legs out from underneath her to climb off of the chair and stand. “…I have done what I needed to though, and I will let you be on your way today, friend.” Hel dipped her head to the draugr. “I thank you for your time.”

Herryk rose to his feet when Hel did, quickly moving to the door. He swung it open for the ghoul, leaning his wide form against the door as Hel made her way to it.
"Hel," he began, looking rather unsure of himself and yet feeling compelled to say something that would ... he didn't know. Make Hel feel better?
"Freya is lucky to have a sister such as you," he said quietly. His expression was completely earnest and it was obvious he was not being facetious. "Herryk appreciates the invitation to the wedding, as well."

Hel followed Herryk to the door, nodding her head to him in thanks as he opened it for her, but paused in the door way.
The reaper blinked, genuinely surprised and touched by his words. A smile tugged at her lips as she shook her head a bit again. “Freya won’t think she’s so lucky during this trip but ah…I appreciate the kind words, friend, and I appreciate that you are coming. Have a good day.” The reaper gave a wave of her fair hand, and was off on her way. That part was done…so now it was time to move onto other things…like packing.
Yay.
She was now really hoping she was doing the right thing…
