Vince shook his head as a dull thump went off in the distance: Team B starting the distraction. "Sephiroth said you were my responsiblity this mission. Besides...I...know it's a mission but how long do we actually get to spend time as brother and sister anymore since I've become a 1st...?" he pointed out, standing up.

Claire perked up slightly at the thump and tilted her head, only to look back at Vince as he stood up. She couldn't help a small smile and reached up to poke him on the nose. "Good point... But if I'm your responsibility, then we're going to continue the mission and find those anti-SOLDIER monsters that Wutai was supposed to have. Sephy will probably beat us there, but there's no harm in trying to get there on time~"

Vince nodded, opening his mouth to say something before being lifted off the ground slightly for a moment. Blinking he quickly looked around as the ground started shaking. "Claire...I think it found us." he whispered, taking hold of Tsurugi, slowly pulling it off. A growl came from around a corner as a giant ogre like monster carrying a club walked around, looking right at Vince and Claire.

Claire's eyes widened at the monster and shifted so she was behind Vince. "W-well... I guess that monster really does it's job... It doesn't like SOLDIER..." she said softly, glancing up at Vince's 1st Class uniform. "On the bright side, at least we beat Sephy here," Claire added with a light, nervous laugh, shrinking back away from the ogre-monster.

"That we did. And guess what?" he added, going into a battle ready stance as the ogre continued to advance.

Claire glanced up at her brother with a confused look before looking back at the ogre, holding her stuffed rabbit close. "What?"

Vince smiled, a red aura appearing around him, his Mako colored eyes glowing. "Your big brother's fought bigger than this." he laughed, holding Tsurugi out in front of him, horizontal and parallel to the ground. Immediately, he charged the monster, Tsurugi held in a stabbing position.

Claire smiled a bit and watched Vince charge at the monster while she kept a distance. She knew she wouldn't be much help unless she had tried using her Summon Materia, but if Vince was right, he could take care of the monster. Sephy is gonna be jealous~ she thought to herself while rocking on her heels.

The ogre swung as Vince got closer, only to make contact with the ground, creating a very small quake. Vince was right under the ogre's arm, stabbing Tsurugi into the monster's stomach before leaping high into the air, slashing as he went. As the ogre fell backwards, instantly dead, Vince backflipped through the air, landing next to Claire. "Guess these Anti-SOLDIER monsters aren't worth crap..." he sighed, actually a little disappointed.

"Well Sephy still isn't here yet so that means by running off, I found a short-cut," Claire said brightly, looking up at her brother. "Which means... I'm better than Sephy~ I'm better than Sephy~" she giggled, prancing around in a small circle around Vince.

"Who's better than me?" the familiar, less than pleasant voice of Sephiroth came as he neared the two, the dirt underneath his feet almost crunching with each step. Vince just laughed, returning Tsurugi to it's clasp on his back.

Claire stopped in her tracks and slowly turned to look up at Sephiroth. She held her stuffed rabbit in one arm while scratching the back of her head with her free hand, an embarrassed look on her face. "Heh... H-hi Sephy. I'm just lucky, is all, m'kay?" she said smiling a bit while tilting her head slightly at him, always admiring his long white hair.

"It's quite alright. You live up to your spunky reputation." he actually chuckled before looking at Vince. "Have you had any contact with Angeal recently?" To that, Vince blinked shaking his head. "Did something happen?" "Zack and I lost contact with Angeal a few minutes ago after confirming Genesis was a traitor..." Sephiroth said, handing Vince a picture. In it was two men, both with Genesis's face. Vince stared at the pictures for a moment before looking up at Sephiroth. 'He stole the copy technology?" he surmised, to which Sephiroth nodded.

Claire tilted her head at the two 1sts, a little lost at the moment. "Genesis... is really a traitor?... And now Angeal is missing too?..." she said softly, mostly just thinking out loud as she lowered her gaze to look down at her stuffed rabbit. She brushed the rabbit's ears back before running a finger down to the stuffed animal's stomach, feeling something inside the toy. Shiva... What am I going to?... Everyone is disappearing... she added in her thoughts with a sigh.

Sephiroth nodded slightly, actually seeming depressed before turning to go. "In any case, the operation is over. We leave for the Shin-Ra building in the morning." Vince nodded before looking over at Claire, lightly placing a hand on the top of her head.
