Xiu immediately stiffened upon seeing the blood that blossomed on the front of Mitsu's shirt. Slowly, she looked up to meet the ghoul's gaze, pressing her lips into a thin line when Mitsu shook her head. Xiu didn't scold her, however--instead, she looked towards the bathroom, and then back to Mitsu. "Do you have bandages?" Her left shoulder was injured, but she was certain that she could handle cleaning a wound and bandaging it. But...
"...Do you need stitches?" That, Xiu did not trust herself to handle. "...Do you want me to bring you to Professor Malcolm or Nurse Cricket?" Perhaps it would be best for a professional to do this.
Hearing Shun's question, Xiu turned to nod at him in reply. She was so concerned over the lycan's injuries that she hadn't seemed to notice that Mitsu hadn't spoken at all since her arrival. Not yet, anyways.

Shun kept questioning her and Mitsu wasn't sure how to respond. How much could he see now? How much could he hear? It seemed like he was picking up on things a little better which was a small relief. Maybe the medicine was working after all.
Simply nodding to Shun's question about bleeding Mitsu finally focused back on Xiu when she asked about bandages. Again she nodded and pointed back toward the bathroom. She had hastily shoved the supplies she had been using back in the cabinet but it wasn't difficult to get to. As far as stitches...well she had already stitched up one wound on her own. Possibly the others could go without it?
She really didn't want to go to Malcolm or Nurse Cricket so instead the lycan made her way back toward the bathroom to retrieve the items she had been using before. It didn't take long for her to return with the medical kit in hand, the supplies they needed on top since she had pulled it out previously.

The movement, Shun was able to see, though if he hadn't been watching her, he probably would have missed it. So she was bleeding then. Furrowing his brow in concerned, he looked back to Xiu, hoping she could do something to help her. Now he had to wonder how long she had been bleeding. He wouldn't have been able to see the blood in the past few days.
And she had been sleeping on the floor for Jack's sake. Who knows if she had gotten anything to eat or drink either. While it wasn't really required, the food and water likely would help with the whole recovery process a little. He wasn't deserving of this amount of attentive care.
"If it's serious.. please take her to Cricket," he requested before looking back to the wolf girl, "You need to take care of yourself.. please."

So they had supplies--that was good, at least. Looking up at Shun's request, she nodded again to indicate that she understood. "I promise, aniki." She said aloud, even if he couldn't hear her. If the wound was serious, then Xiu would definitely take her to see the nurse.
Once Mitsu brought out the medical kit, Xiu reached out to take it, moving towards the desk and setting it down on the surface. She eyed the sutures sitting on top warily--did...did Mitsu sew up one of her wounds by herself?--before picking up the bottle of painkillers. She gave them a little shake and then glanced over her shoulder at the ghoul. "Did you take any of this?"
Removing the items that sat on top, the baku began to root through the kit with a little frown. So long as the wound wasn't too extremely, then she should be able to do this. "Mitsu, can you, um, lift your shirt?"

Handing the kit over to Xiu, Mitsu frowned at Shun as he requested the baku take her to the nurse if it was needed. It wasn't that serious, it would heal, it just needed time. She didn't want him to worry, she would be fine, taking care of him had just been more important.
Slowly she reached out taking hold of his hand and gently gave it a squeeze. Please don't worry. If anything she didn't want him to worry.
Hearing Xiu's question Mitsu looked back to see what she had before immediately shaking her head. She had been leery to take any even though she knew they were for pain. She watched the baku a little longer before her request was made and slowly Mitsu pulled her hand back and grabbed the hem of the shirt and lifted it slightly. Her torso was littered with small cuts from the glass that had rained down on them and the deep whip mark she had sustained, though some of them looked to be healing. A few were minor and at least three were deep, one of which Mitsu had already attempted to sew shut. The stitch work was....well it was terrible at best but it kept the wound closed at the very least. Sewing up yourself was much different than making a hoodie or jacket.

Feeling her squeeze his hand, Shun lightly returned the gesture before looking between the two girls. It hadn't stopped him from worrying about her. He then stepped back since it seemed like Xiu was going to see if she could help out the other. It looked like she had a box of sort in her hands. Perhaps that was a first aid kit?
He couldn't really see much as Mitsu lifted her shirt up, but he did notice that the red blurs appeared to be more prevalent against the more fleshy colored blur that was likely her torso.
Running a hand through his hair, he shook his head slowly.
"Dammit.. Shouldn't those have been taken care of Cricket earlier?" he frowned, "She should have fixed you up..."
Was she overlooked because of him?

"Oh," Xiu breathed, her eyes widening at the cuts. The small ones she could handle, but the deeper cuts? The baku eyed the one that Mitsu had tried to sew herself, her lips pulling into a frown as she took in the stitch work. It wasn't easy to sew up oneself, she was sure, and to do so without taking any painkillers?
"Mitsu, I...I think you should go to Nurse Cricket? I might be able to do this, but I would be much more confident if Cricket saw to your deeper wounds." She had seen how Malcolm stitched up her shoulder wound, but the baku still wasn't completely confident that she could do a good job with Mitsu's. If the lycan insisted and refused to go to see the nurse, though...
First things first. "Mitsu, I'll need you to take some painkillers, okay? T-then I'll disinfect your cuts and see what I can do." As she spoke, she head towards the bathroom to wash her hands. She really didn't want to botch this up!

Mitsu's frown deepened at Xiu's prognosis of the situation. But she didn't want to go to the nurse. Cricket had already seen them both and given them cups of liquid medicine and told them to rest. True she should have gone to the Blue Tent if she wanted to be treat thoroughly but the lycan thought that was enough and she didn't want to leave Shun alone the way he was. He had no idea what was going on and she could only imagine how stressful it would be to suddenly feel alone.
It didn't make the situation any better when Shun became more upset. Dropping the shirt for the time being Mitsu took hold of the bottle Xiu offered her while she went to the bathroom. Again she was left to wonder about it turning the pill bottle in her hand slowly, the pills rattling softly as it rotated. The writing was rather small and strangely hard to read. Instead of staring at it long Mitsu turned to the reaper beside her reaching for his hand to place the pill bottle in his palm.
"H...How much?" Her voice was rather strained and she wasn't sure if he could even hear her but she would try all the same.

Xiu was saying quite a bit, but Shun was having trouble telling exactly what was being said. He had to strain a bit to make out the words. Then, hearing a slightly different noise, he turned towards Mitsu and looked down at the small white object she handed to him. It was a little plastic bottle from what he could feel... most likely one of his bottles of painkillers.
She finally said something as well, but he had trouble picking out what she said. He thought she was just offering him the pills. Well, he was still fairly sore. He supposed it couldn't hurt...
Or did she want some for herself? The Reaper wasn't quite certain. She was injured so it was quite possible she needed some pain relief. Either way, he undid the top and poured a couple into his palm, placing back the extras until he only had two, offering her the pills.
He was feeling fairly frustrated too. Shun wanted to be able to communicate with her more easily but that really wasn't all that possible right now. He also wanted to be of use. The past few days, he had been relying on her quite a bit and she still needed help. That wasn't something he could give right now and it didn't help with his general mindset that he was pretty damn worthless.

Walking out of the bathroom with her hands nice and clean (which had been a painful process, since she had to bend her burned arm slightly to get her hand into the sink), Xiu eyed the scene before her silently, the frown on her face deepening. Without much warning, she grabbed Shun's desk chair with her good hand, dragging it close to his bed. She then went back for the medical kit, setting it down on the floor beside the desk chair.
"Mitsu, after you take the painkillers, could you sit down? I'll crouch down and tend to the cuts. And aniki..." She pat the bed, indicating that he should sit down. If he wanted to watch the process, she could much prefer it if he was sitting down. He was hurt, after all.
Honestly, Xiu was pretty terrified that she had been given this job. Mentally, as she waited for the two to sit down, she tried to re-imagine the steps Malcolm had taken when he was tending to her own wound. This wasn't just a dummy that she would be trying to stitch up--it was her friend. She was going to have to be very carefu--
...H-hmm, how deep were these deeper cuts, she wondered? If there was any medical superglue in that kit...

Once he held out his hand offering her the contents Mitsu reached out and took the two pills that Shun had obtained from the bottle. Mitsu was glad she had asked, though she was now under the assumption he had heard her which made her feel a little better. If she had been left to guess she would have suspected more pain meant you took more painkillers. The lycan likely would have dumped a few in her hand and hoped for the best.
Popping the pills in her mouth it was obvious Mitsu wasn't used to taking this sort of medicine as she began to chew them, making a face as she did so. They tasted terrible. Why would anyone put these in their mouth? Swallowing with difficulty Mitsu jutted her tongue outside her mouth, a disgusted look crossing her face from the flavor of the pills before she moved to comply with Xiu's request.
Following the baku Mitsu took a seat in the chair she had dragged over toward the bed. Gingerly she took a seat though it was quite the relief to be off her feet. She was unsteady and tired and more than ready to rest. From there she waited further instruction only lifting the shirt again when Xiu needed to access the wounds. It was possible Mitsu had dealt with the deepest of the three cuts leaving only two. One across her stomach from the whip and another along her other side. The side wound wasn't nearly as deep but both needed more attention than just a simple band-aid could provide.

Once the pills were taken from him, he glanced down at the bottle, considering for a moment. After his pause, he went on and fished out two for himself which he popped into his mouth and swallowed fairly quick. Shun then capped the bottle and looked around for a moment. When he spotted what was probably his nightstand, he placed the bottle down onto it, or tried to. He missed the first time around with trying to place it.
Turning back towards the two girls, he saw one of them pat the bed. However, he thought that was meant for Mitsu, so he remained standing.. even when he noticed that she went to sit elsewhere. Shifting his weight as he saw the blurs of red again, he glanced away to try and look himself over. He could feel that he had a number of bandages wrapped around his body, but he was trying to see if he could spot any signs of blood seeping. As far as he could tell, he was fine there.
His attention moved back over towards the lycan and the baku.

Xiu examined the wounds very closely, her brows furrowed in concentration. The deeper wounds...weren't that deep, thank goodness for that. It seemed like the type of cut that the medical superglue could be used instead of stitches. The baku may have emitted a sigh of relief as she grabbed the antiseptic, reading the bottle quickly before unscrewing the lid. "This might sting a little," She warned, turning the bottle over quickly so that it could soak into the cotton gauze that she held at the opening.
...Okay, she could do this. Reaching out, she lightly dabbed at the wounds, careful to ensure that nothing got into them as she cleaned. Fortunately, probably because Mitsu had just showered, there didn't seem to be any dirt or debris in any of the cuts.
"Aniki, why aren't you sitting down? You're injured!" As she dug into the kit for bandages and the glue, Xiu looked up at him, raising her brows and not looking unlike a scolding mother (not that he could probably see her expression). She briefly pulled her out of the medical kit to point to the reaper, and then the bed, indicating that he should rest. Then she was back to rooting around in search of the--ah, there was the medical adhesive.
S-so, this...this wouldn't be too hard, right? At least, she was positive that she could do this a whole lot better than sewing Mitsu up. "I'd still like you to see the nurse later on, Mitsu." She warned, before she began to tend to the cuts.

Mitsu sat as still as possible as Xiu tended to her wounds. Thankfully the ghoul was rather focused on her task because while Mitsu refrained from wincing the pain was very evident on her face. The cuts finally cleaned Mitsu waited for the next step in the process her gaze shifting to Shun as Xiu tried to get him to sit once again.
The displeasure on her features was hard to miss as Xiu suggested she see Nurse Cricket. She did not nod nor did she shake her head. The lycan didn't want to commit to anything one way or another but if she had to she supposed she would go. For now though she simply looked away waiting patiently for Xiu to finish.

Glancing over at Xiu as she spoke, Shun saw her motion towards the bed, but he remained where he was. Instead, he went over and leaned against the wall, watching the two. He didn't really want to be sitting at the moment, if that was what she was trying to say. Despite how weary he still felt, he felt pretty damn restless. The Reaper hadn't been moving around a lot in the past couple days after all.
Perhaps getting a shower would help.. Though he would probably need some help finding where the hell he put his towels. Then again, that could probably wait a bit as well.
"Is she alright?" he asked before watching the two.
