Art update! since no one has been through my thread in a while. I'm still procrastinating on the scanner, but I have been working on the drawings. I have Cressa half finished, The one of Lorika I muffed up on, so I have to restart it, Mab's is being more difficult than I had presumed, hana's is pretty simple, but I don't know whether or how to include the spider webs. And Inu, If you donate, you're gonna get one too. Can't give me gold and not want anything in return, that'd just be silly!
Anyways, I am taking my sleep deprived a** back to work in an hour and a half, Second shift in the same awake period!I love being able to willpower through pretty much anything =^w^=

Glad that some NPCs are gone. Still are quite a bunch of them around though.

Still are quite a bunch of them around though. neutral Bapp, no offense, but you really seem to not like this guild anymore. Why is that? o__O Every time I see you post recently you're just hateful towards us. You were up in arms over the Christmas Santa exchange last year because your gift wasnt "Good enough" for you, whatever it was, then you were gone for ages, now you come back calling us a clique and picking the same old bones as always. What's your deal? If you don't like us so much, what are you doing here? If we've done something to offend you, just say it, or don't say it, but don't stink up the air with passive-aggressive nonsense all the time. If you're having any problems, please just tell us. We aren't mindreaders, but we are your friends, and we want to help make things better for you.

Sorry if it seemed that way, Lorika. I have nothing against this guild at all, really!
I haven't been around for so long not because I deliberately was avoiding this guild but because I hadn't logged on to Gaia for quite awhile. Maybe, yeah, I guess I have gotten a mite grittier over this year, but I don't dislike this guild in this least! This is my most frequented place on Gaia, to tell you the truth. sweatdrop
If any of my previous posts I made here seemed angry, I apologize, it wasn't my intention. If I had something to hate I would just come out and say it. Although, yeah I guess that previous post might've sounded like I was attacking your rp, but really, it's not your rp that I hate. I just generally dislike rps that have chock full of NPCs so I kinda voiced my dissatisfaction there. So sorry about that.
Uh... Yeaaaaaah...
The other changes to the rp really appeal to me though biggrin

I was really worried that asking you what was wrong would provoke some kind of argument D: But I couldnt just let it lie when I thought something was the matter. Just try not to use language like "clique" and stuff in the future I guess. It's an insult to everyone here, especially since we all work so hard to welcome newcomers and look after each other. Regarding the NPCs, I agree with you that there were too many before. I kind of overcompensated for the fact that the rp was stagnating and nobody was posting regularly, so I made them to try and inject some more life and stuff. Now I've stripped every non-essential NPC - all the ones remaining are heads of department and other essential staff. For example, I realised while I was designing the expanded map that just two priestesses wasn't going to be enough to cover the needs of the Order and the expanded Temple complex, so I decided to boost Ardelle to priestess status to pick up the slack. Aside from that there's Adeline and Thomas, who perform the much-needed functions of the heavy enchanting and alchemical needs. (And then maybe I just kept Gloria cos I like her. I VERY NEARLY wrote her out, but ended up not doing so because I think she's interesting and developed and she DID perform a vital function while Jessie was gone and all.)Whatever I say isnt going to wipe your prejudice though, and that's fine, everybody has their own opinions... I just hope you can see that I do have my reasons for doing things this way, y'know? If there were more characters interested in being Priests I wouldnt've had to boost Ardelle; if there were more characters interested in these specific areas they probably wouldnt have to pick up the slack. As it is, these NPCs are performing essential functions nobody else is interested in, which allows the player characters to just wander around doing whatever they like, while the NPCs work =P Thanks for the apology and explanation, I'm really glad you like the look of the other changes ^^
