With a clear head, Landry would have seen that coming, but he didn't. All he saw coming was the canvas as his head was spiked down into the mat for the huge DDT.

Brantley still wasn't safe. He put both hands on his mid and lower back where he felt the most pain. Brantley tried to crawl and inch himself towards the ropes so that he would've been able to pull himself up.

Mike was dazed at best. He was completely rocked from the high impact spike DDT, but he wasn't about to quit. He tried to get back up, but his arms were like rubber as he was just snapping back into reality.

Brantley got to the ropes and pulled himself up. He was angry. Like Hulk angry, just not as retarded. You know what I mean? Of course you do. Brantley would try to bounce of the ropes and charge Landry for a Polish Hammer.

And Landry got cold-cocked by the swinging fists. It was hurtful, but much better than being warm-cocked. That's just creepy.

If Landry wanted a warm-cocking, Brantley would be happy to oblige. He would try to jump up and stomp Landry's face with devastating force hoping to wear him down inch by inch for the match.

Brantley would attempt to keep the pressure on and stomp on his back. Afterwards, if successful, Brantley would try to grab Landry by the neck and put him in a sleeperhold.

Landry got stomped hard and was stuck in the sleeper and he knew he was in trouble. Summers loved the sleeper and he had to get out fast if he wanted to keep from losing a point to him. Landry reached up and grabbed hold of Summers' arms, trying to alleviate the pressure.

Brantley felt Landry grab his arms so Brantley would let Landry go and let him drop onto his face. After that, Brantley would try to stomp Landry's back with a scream the nose bleed seats could hear.

Landry definately wasn't expecting Summers to give up on the sleeper so quickly, and his lack of forsight was punished by a big stomp to his back to sent a shock of pain all down his spine.

Brantley didn't want to give Landry a chance to counter his moves. Sometimes you have to take a risk though so Brantley would try to lock in a half nelson and push Landry over for a pin like how he was taught in high school and college.

Summers shoots the half and land Landry in a pin.
"1...2..." No! Landry shot up the other shoulder and escaped the pin. Summers was getting better and better with every meeting, and that wasn't good new for Mike.

Brantley needed to keep the pressure on. Brantley got up, not letting himself get caught up in how poorly the referee counted, and went to hook Landry's leg for another pin to get him to start to wear out.

Brantley's efficiency was at an all time high, leaving Mike to wonder what had gotten in to his opponent.
"1...2..." No! Landry kicked out hard, if only to prove he was still in this fight.
